Hey, everyone! I hope you all had a wonderful day. I was hoping to relax, but it didn't turn out that way. I promised my mom that I would dye her hair for her - long story short, I started to feel extremely lightheaded about halfway through and I thought I was going to pass out. I couldn't leave her hair undone, so I had to keep getting up from the couch and working on it for a minute or so at a time. Hopefully it was just a fluke from the chemicals in the hair dye -- don't want to be out and about and experiencing that! If my couch wasn't thirty seconds away, I would have been in some trouble. I've dyed her hair in the past with the same stuff before, though, so I'm wondering why now and not then!

My family and I just sat in the living room, snacked on some cheese and crackers, and watched the Penguins game. Now that it's over, I'm going to watch Home Alone 1.

Have a good night, everyone!

Good evening everyone!
Hope everyone is doing better than I am at fighting off the post-Christmas blues.

It hit me tonight when I realized that very few houses around me have their Christmas lights on tonight, I still have mine on of course, but seems a lot less Christmas lights on in my area than only a few nights ago.

Watched an awesome hockey game tonight, The Penguins beat Carolina! Can't wait for Thursday's game when they play the Flyers and former Penguin great Jaromir Jagr at home! Sadly it is looking like Crosby will not play and will be out of the line up for a very extended period again.

Right now, watching The Polar Express again! (2nd night in a row AMC is running it!) Going to watch the movie while I catch up on posts on here!

God bless and have a great night everyone! :tree:

I posted this advice earlier, hope it helps!....

I am becoming quite distressed hearing about so many members here suffering from the blues plaque.
This insidious virus seems to be spreading.

Apparently it is spread through used wrapping paper. Please make sure you get all of it out of your house, you do not want this virus!

Once you get it out of the house make sure to spray areas with febreze cranberry scent to remove all contamination. (and do not visit anyone who still has used wrapping paper at their home to keep it from re contaminating you)

If you find you did get it, soak in a tub of eggnog, while sipping candy cane hot chocolate and listening to Christmas music.
If symptoms persist, repeat treatment until all traces of this virus are gone

You think you could send me a couple or quarts of that there hair tonic? If it works like I think, I'm pretty sure I can get about ten bucks a jar for it 'round these parts. two quarts should be good for a test run. I'll spilt the profits of any future orders with you of course.

Hope you feel better soon!

Good evening, friends~

Hope you all had a nice day!
Ours was good, but busy. We still have a full house.

Had to go grocery shopping today, all we had left was ham, Christmas cookies, and chocolates :-D

How are you all coming with the post Christmas blues? I am hanging in, but a bit sad just the same. Sounds of the seasons helps, as well as Hallmark movies for the rest of the week.

I got some not so good news from my doctor over the phone the day before Christmas Eve. She was vague, so I don't have all of the details, but will share more when I know more. That has been on our minds ever since, so Christmas was bittersweet. Not trying to be a downer..

I'm very grateful to have my family here, so just trying to balance it all & still be a good hostess! I miss you guys & hope all is well in your ends of the world!

Sending hugs~

XMas, hope you're doing well & feeling better.

Take care, friends!! :rudolph::tree:

Ham, cookies and chocolates....I could live on that!
And very sorry to hear that you got some bad news from your doctor :( My thoughts and prayers are going out to you that whatever it is will be ok. Please keep us updated.

Woo hoooo Pens! I love being from Pittsburgh! Nice to see Staal score tonight, especially since it was a big game for him. Always fun to see him play his brother, too. Sad that Sidney isn't playing, but I'm starting to wonder if he's ever going to come back. I know it has to be challenging battling constant headaches and dizziness, and you can't be skating around with that. I'd love to see Malkin get another hat trick, especially on a big night like Thursday. I think I'm going to order in some pizza or something of that sort and make it a fun game night!

I can't wait to see how the fans react to Jagr and Talbot!

I love this !!! Unfortunately I seem to have a mutated form of the "virus" and need a slightly different cure :-?

For the Blues I recommend a steady dose of Reds & Greens available at the Merry Network all year. Don’t let the un-Yuleing from the rest of the world pack up your Christmas enthusiasm and spirit when their limited celebration goes back into the attic!

On the ol’ Yule-O-Meter of Glad Tidings & Joy seldom do I fall below a level seven Jolly Units. I do admit an elevation and spike during the time the rest of the world catches up to our year-round Christmas Spirit. That elevation just doesn’t fall much when the plug is pulled on the lights elsewhere.

Christmas was coolarity at our house. Of the four grandchildren, two experienced their first Christmas! I am thankful that everyone from the immediate family was well and accounted for this year. Though there was sadness in the second family tier, we shall prevail!

That is so neat with two of your grandkids having their very first Christmas ! Glad you had a wonderful time xoxoxo

I was a little blue yesterday (just a light blue, not deep blue) but my husband and I went out to eat, and then I felt better. Must have been the bread pudding I had for dessert.

We went to Columbia Mall to spend our Christmas money afterwards, and neither of us found anything we wanted. Imagine being so blessed that there's nothing else you want! This, indeed, is Christmas!

You are so funny. You made me smile, MerryBells, even though I am still a little sad - Thank you ((Hugs))

I would love a job working at home, but who wouldn't? I don't think I can get 500 kids in my house though, so I will stick to going to work.

See everyone late tonight....

I work at home Coach and it is pretty neat not having to fight traffic and pay those gas prices !!

Good afternoon everyone! I has taken me two days to creep back into the interwebs...post Christmas blues:( I am having a fish fry tonight then its hall mark Christmas movies the rest of the night!

Right there with you Dawg.....Been really blue...But it will pass, I hope ! xo Thinking of our mom and dad and you and Brandi and Jordan and Snowball and praying all will be well....xo

Good evening,

Had a great family day today, watching Christmas movies and playing with the Wii with everyone, and leftover turkey for dinner. Still no sign of the blues here, but I do get that feeling of dread that it is over once in a while. We will be going to get our family portrait done tomorrow. I am still feeling quite uncomfortable, slowly but surely getting better. I love Christmas, there truly is no better time of year.

Have a great night friends!

I bet your family portrait will be wonderful !! Glad you don't have the blues xo

I hope you feel more cheery soon, CJ. I am right there with you. This year's Christmas blues seem a little stronger than past years. But let's try to remember that Christmas is on the way again !! xo
