Hey everyone!
I hope you all are well! Nothing much happening around here today. We will probably go out to eat tonight, then come back home and watch some football. I will be glad to see 2011 go, but I am not glad to see the holidays end. It went by too fast. I am hoping and praying for a better new year. 2012 is going to be the best year ever!!

Hello MMC friends! Hope you're all having a great day so far. I got up an hour and half ago, played with the kids a little, and now laid them both down for naps. DS is being a little fussy though and doesn't seem like he is going to take one right now.
Anything new with anyone right now? Not awhole lot going on with me. DH will leave for work around 3:30 tonight. He has to be there a half an hour early, which is common curioutsy because it is a holiday. My parents will then be here around 6:30 with pizza to watch the kids for us tonght since we both have to work.
Well, I am going to go and read the rest of the boards. Ttyl.

Gosh, I don't miss the midnight shift at all!
Only thing going on around here is laundry and downloading of out of print Christmas records shared at various blogs/music sites this year. Right now I'm diving in to the blog of Ernie (Not Bert). Ernie is very prolific during the season and at Christmas In July.

I worked them by choice for about three and a half years in the early nineties. I would have stayed on them had my body not told me otherwise.
At my last job I finished out midnights in 2010. December 24, 2010 was my last shift at that job and for midnights. I haven't looked back! Well, I did have to spend about three overnighters at my current job due to snow. But who's counting? Not me!

so i just want to say i am so glad i found this site. up to i did i used to keep my christmas feelings to myself. here i dont have to.
For it not just christmas you guys are about. its about the ups and downs .the happy and sad things in everyday life.
SO THANKS to each one of you for making me feel like one of the gang. and just for being here each day.
i really do hope each of you find what you need to make you happy in 2012 and that it will be a great year in whatever way you want it to be . and give all those furbabies a hug from me

On the Seventh Day of Christmas...
Good afternoon,
We spent the day cleaning up and folding laundry, we will be leaving for the NYE party in less than an hour. We will be home a little after 9, to get the 2 little twerps to bed then we will probably watch Dick Clark countdown. I was glad to see TCM playing a Marx Bros. marathon today, I have recorded a few movies, they are so funny. I have my Christmas lights on, to celebrate the New Year, but of course they will be on through next Sunday, letting go is so hard to do. cheesy
If I don't get back on tonight I want to wish you all a Happy New Year!

EA is still down for her nap, DS is playing in his jumping seat, DH went to work, so it looks like I will be spending some time with you folks. It doesn't sound too bad, does it!? 
Thanks again Crown and to everyone for a wonderful year! I wish I could be here for the shut-down of the thread and the start of the new one, but I will be at work! Bummer! I hope to be able to check in at some point on my break though...
