I haven't seen that one, thank you.

I should have thought about typing "Holiday" into the search instead of Christmas, since Christmas is looked upon as a naughty word by some. (not here of course)

I am so glad that Holiday is not a naughty word here!!! And just for the record I chose the name "Holiday" back at Christmas.com long before there was such a debate over using the word "Holiday" rather than "Christmas" What a joke!!

Good Monday Morning MMC!!!!!!

Hubby kept commenting during the games how bad the officials were. Even I noticed it on the few plays I came in to watch. He said the officials were just not fast enough to call the plays correctly. Hopefully the situation will be settled soon.

Good morning everyone!

I am on a little earlier than usual. Today is my first day returning to my old job. As I said before, I still had about 31 working days (this year) left in my 90-day contract that ended this past March. My boss and I haven't had the opportunity to discuss what may happen upon the expirey on the contract, but a more lengthly position does seem to be available. We shall see...

It was a decent weekend this past. I met up with some old friends. A friend of mine that grew up a few houses down from me in Sault Ste. Marie now lives about five blocks from me in Ottawa. Anyway, she invited me to her apartment to catch up on Saturday night. She also had another friend there, whom I haven't seen in some time, so it quite enjoyable. Other than that, it wasn't too great to see the Packers lose to the 49ers yesterday. The Packers really did come out flat. Still, I'm the first to admit the better team certainly won. Congratulations to the 49ers on a well deserved victory.

With that said, I truly hope that negotiations can be reached between the NFL and the officials union. The replacement officials are absolutely terrible.

As I mentioned earlier, it is a beautiful fall morning in Ottawa. Sure, the fall season does not officially begin for another 12 days (it is on the 22nd this year), however, it was a nice chilly walk to the bus. Speaking of 12 days - Crown, have you noticed any progress on "A Christmas To Remember" in the Crabtree Valley Mall?! It's so close to my favourite thread of the year... Christmas Blossoms!

Have a wonderful Monday, everyone. We are reaching the most exciting time of the year. Soon stores will be packed with our favourite decor and eyes will become wide with fascination. It's going to be a magical 2012 Christmas Season!

I notice the change of light, thus the change of seasons, as I am driving down the streets of town, from west to east. I also take the kids out onto the playground to show them. Hope you get to keep your seating arrangement. Those telltale signs are nostalgic markers for me!

Monday hello ... Woke up to the brisk 50Fs this morning, a brilliant blue sky and bright sunshine. The sky was an amazing shade of blue yesterday afternoon because the storms on Saturday washed all the haze out of the air---it was the kind of blue we don't usually see until October. This particular time of year (and in the spring) the sunshine comes through the skylights and falls across my desk at the office at certain times of the morning. I really enjoy that. I'd really miss it if they decide to change the seating arrangements here! When I see that shaft of sunlight, I know autumn's on the way.

As usual, I'm a little bleary-eyed at this time of morning, but maybe a mug of tea will fix that. Everybody take care, and those of you with fall weather today---enjoy it!

I love all the words associated with the holidays. Back in 1977 I started seeing the (political) handwriting on the wall. I knew that soon Christmas would become "Winter Break" in the school system. I refused then, and I refuse now, to give in to that!!! Even Easter became Spring Break. Ridiculous! I use the words I want! Love your name, by the way!

Good Monday Morning MMC!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's a beautiful morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at 65 degree's on our way to a high of 74. It looks like the 80's make there return tomorrow but not for long!! Fall is creeping in. I've had a productive and painful morning so far. I managed to get my cleaning done while it was cool out and then I chopped up a bunch of Jalapeno peppers that my cousin brought me. I made the stupid mistake of rubbing my eye while I was doing that though and wow, was that painful. My vision is still a blurry. Well I'm off to get some stuff done. Last week wasn't nearly as productive as I wanted it to be. So this week I am bound and determined to get stuff done. If I can stay off of here, that is. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Anyone else enjoying PERFECT fall weather today? It's breezy and only 59 degrees at the moment! I am LOVING this!!! Snuggled on the couch with my little guys watching a show.... heaven!

Have a wonderful Monday!

yes, it's 60'ish here this morning & i'm loving it too!

Absolutely. We're currently at 52 degress this morning. It was a perfect walk from my apartment to the bus stop. It's suppose to heat up later in the week, however, tonight should be the highlight. The overnight temperature is forcasted to drop down to 41 degrees. Sleeping will be perfect.

wow...enjoy that crisp weather!

Good Morning, MMC!!

Hope no one has a case of the Mondays today! =]

How was your weekend?

Mine just flew by. My friends and I did the Harvest Festival on Saturday. We shopped for 6 1/2 hours! I have sore feet! But, we had a blast. Saw a lot of cute things, and sampled many tasty treats. Bought some nice things, too. I told some of you that I'd take pictures, but it was wall to wall people & difficult to do so, so I took some pics of my finds.
If you want to check them out, click the link here:

Yesterday was a day of making phone calls, doing laundry, cooking some soup, and watching the Packers lose =(

Adrian & I started on a list of things we have to do to prepare for our big move. Not fun, but necessary. I'm down to 2 weeks left at my job. Feels strange. They're throwing a going away party for me on my last day, at a sports bar / restaurant near the office. I still can't believe this is all happening! I've wanted it for so long.

Praying for all of you who are under the weather, going through difficult times, have sick family members (humans & furkids), and anyone who just needs happy thoughts & smiles.

Hope you all have a lovely day!

i'm so happy for you to be going back home. i'm sure there will be tears as you leave but anywhere you go, there's always good memories shared. i enjoyed seeing all your finds & the festival you went to. the jackets were awesome!

off to Kitchener today , only going up to 19c (66f) so not very warm at all.
But I am getting the Mommmmm come on, we want to go! So I guess I better get off here and get in the van!
Have a great day everyone!

i see the kiddos talked you into it! have fun!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We had a good weekend! I didn't have to work at the store, so I slept late (7:00 am!), then visited my brother at his new shop in nearby Claxton. He's a top-notch mechanic, and has rented a HUGE building in town for his new business. You could play football in that building!

Anyway, Jacob and I went hunting Saturday afternoon. We didn't get anything, but as they say, a bad day hunting or fishing is better than a good day at work.

Yesterday, we had lunch at mom's, then we all we to my cousin's house. He and his wife live out in the shure-enough woods, and they have a really home. We took Lulu, and she swam in their pond and got so muddy we had to borrow some shampoo and wash her before I'd let her get back in my truck.

All in all, not a bad weekend. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

I just made a pan of Egg plant parmesan and used fresh tomatoes and egg plant from my garden. It sure tastes great to use such fresh ingredients!

Hey, we had the same thing as well for dinner last night! I grew the egg plant in my garden; it was a new type that I tried out this year called (Ichiban Japenese Eggplant). It has been, by far, with all the varieties that I have grown, the best tasting eggplant ever. It does not have a tough skin, has hardly none or very little seeds and it has a sweeter taste.... YUM!!!!

Howdy everyone!!! Have y'all missed me? I've missed Y'all!!

Doing ok here, and the weather is still hot!!

Got alot going on but I promise I will at least come on the countdown and Let Y'all know I am still breathing lol
sooooo I shall be back later and as the song says

"And so I'm offering this simple phrase,
To kids from one to ninety-two,
Although its been said many times, many ways,
Merry Christmas to you!!!"

Hope Y'all Like it I wrote it myself!!

Thanks! Has it been going on that long? I guess we are behind the times here! But I do love the word/phrase "Holiday's" too - with the meaning that it includes EVERYTHING from Fall (September) through New Years Day! "The Holiday Season!" Of course it also includes Easter, Cinco De Mayo, Memorial Day, 4th of July, & Labor Day too & every other "Holiday" celebrated by you all!

Hey Meceka!!
Your pizza sauce sounds delicious! Pizza is something I could eat everyday. One of my favorites =)
How are you & the furkids?
xo

I could eat pizza everyday, too. The fur kids are doing well, thank you for asking! Mouse is snoozing in the sunshine upstairs, Bo is snoozing on his blanket and Palmer is in a timeout. She is being very good right now, but I am moving furniture and bags of books all around and I don't need her under foot. She will get into everything if I let her. I hope you have a wonderful day, snowflake! {{{HUGS}}} for you and Harlowe.

Your days are always so productive, Meceka. I love homemade anything tomato, especially homemade catsup. Hell's Kitchen in Minneapolis serves homemade catsup that is the best I have ever tasted! Luckily, I have the recipe; unluckily, I have no tomatoes!

Homemade is best! Did you post the recipe here?

I agree! Eggplant Parmesan sounds yummy cheesy

so nice to have a full day off...work actually did not call this time!
Got a bit of a cold so can just keep trying to drown it and relax. My daughter wants to go to Kitchener tomorrow, not sure if I want to go, will decide tomorrow.

I hope you are better soon, Christmasstar!

I knew that!
Funny thing is Anne was not even a real person. Of course that has never stopped the people of PEI from thoroughly marketing it all.
I plan to go and visit some day, love the stories and the movies. Part of the movie was actually filmed just a few short miles from here at Doon Pioneer village a place I have visited.

Me, too! I plan on rereading the books one of these days. I just found books 7 and 8 in the series at a garage sale this past summer.

I have yet to her from the doctor about all my X-rays so I hope to get some answers tomorrow ... All this 'pain' is making me want to get into better shape though - hubby and I hVe got to have a serious talk about my health - mental & physical ... I need to take better are of ME...

Thanks so much for your support cm ** huge hugs **

I hope it is all good news, Merry, and that you are better soon!

Good evening, Christmas family !

I am just finishing up Call Me Mrs. Miracle which I DVR'd last year. I am probably going to follow it with another Christmas movie, just not sure which one yet !

It has been chilly all day today here but still very warm in the house. Tomorrow begins another work week but I am no longer stressed by that thought. In facct I usually wind up working a little every weekend but it is voluntary and it is perfectly fine.

All of the furkids are as usual in "their"spots. Hermione is fast asleep on top of her "house" (her crate which we keep in the living room for when we have to go away), Clancy is stretched out the length of her on the couch and of course, my "little man" Wishbone, is cuddled up against me as tight as he can be peacefully snoring away. I am so blessed to have him still with me. In a way, I already have my Christmas presents this year...My furkids are all healthy and Wes is doing well after the last heart attack plus my sister remains healthy and active so far and I like doing my job again. I couldn't ask for any more.

MerryNoel - Thinking of you xo

Solice - I wish you could see a doctor !! You have been sick WAY too long xo

MerryCarey - I hope you get some pep back xo

Maureen - I hope you continue to feel better too xo

Have a wonderful dreamy Christmassy evening, dear Christmas family xo

I'm glad you are content, CM3 ~ {{{hugs}}} for you, Wish, Clancy, Hermione, Lily and Smokey.
