I am waiting on Wal-Mart to open to get my pain meds. I have to get an appointment with my doctor to see about managing lymphedema. I guess there are several options to try. I can only describe it as wearing a kids "water wing" on my upper right arm, plus it is sore! It is so hard to believe it's 100 days to Christmas. I like to look back to the posts from the first of the year when so many felt it would take us forever to get to this time! It sure went quickly this year! Just lovin' all the posts!

today is christmas movie day over here....been watching A Christmas Carol with the bald dude from Star Trek...now watching the Santa Claus bell.....while a church, cranberry-scented candle is burning in a halloween thing.....feeling very holidayish

The pain is back; in fact, the PA thinks it may be lymphadema. So I will find out what we are going to do. I hope it doesn't involve a long needle to draw out fluid!

Good morning, MMC! How is everyone today? I am well - just so very excitied - there is 99 days to Christmas, which is so wonderful! How can that be? I better get busy!

Today EA's birthday party. We spent a nice day together yesterday and her party will be a blast today. We have lots of family coming and some of our close friends coming. She is excited, but as Shellie said to me on Facebook, I am probably more excited than her. I love seeing my children so happy.

I bought my first Christmas gift last evening. It's for EA - she's so easy to buy for. It's a little styling set - with a kids curling iron, flat iron, hair dryer, etc. It's a Disney Princess set. I know she'll love it.

Well, I have a lot to do and DH is working on his end of stuff to help, so I better get going. I will talk to you all later on this evening. Have a great day! God Bless and talk soon!

i am feeling better than i did yesterday.....no 100% fit tho....especially...I got a pain in my ribs now.....from all the sneezing yesterday....usually I get this from coughing....but not sneezing....but I had two or three sneezing attacks with 10plus sneezers yesterday....so it is probably just muscle aches....lol

I missed yesterday here, I was so exhausted after work. I was asleep long before midnight last night.
We may start decorating for fall/Halloween today or we may head to a corn maze today, not quite sure yet.
My wife is making monkeybread for breakfast.

I need to clean out my closet & organize a bit. I'll turn on some Christmas music & go to town.

Adrian surprised me yesterday by going to Kohl's & purchasing all of the 2012 St. Nicholas Square village pieces they had in stock! What a guy!! Totally made my day.
I need to open all of them up, give them a once-over, and make sure all is good with them before I put them away. I'm really going to miss displaying my village this year. But, that's ok. I'll be filled w/ mega anticipation for next year!! :smile:

Btw, does anybody else here collect St. Nicholas Square?
I noticed that the little pamphlet that comes w/ the pieces has only a fraction of the PDF on the the website has. Also, some are listed as only being available online, when they are in the store. And some of them that are supposed to be in stores, aren't... Weird...

For those of you watching Christmas movies today, what ones are you choosing?

It's been a busy weekend for me---I put in 4-1/2 hours on an audio project yesterday evening, plus another couple this morning. And I still need to do some recording, editing, and mixing this week ... but I've gone as far as I can go today, so it's time for some tea and crochet.

Welcome to the Countdown! I know what you mean---there's a garden center not far away from us that turns over to Christmas in October---real trees, artificial trees, ornaments, lights, outdoor decorations, gifts of all descriptions ... it took me two hours to wander through everything last year. I enjoyed it so much that I'm going to make it an annual event.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!!! It's a beautiful morning here in central Indy where we currently stand at 54 degree's. It looks like we may got close to 80 later today. My plan for today is to head to church, then it will be back home to watch football and nascar. I might even sneak in a Christmas movie later today. Yep, they are on lockout again. It took me a few years to come back to the sport last time they went through this mess. I don't think it will be too long this time, just by the way the teams were throwing around contracts before the lockout started after midnight last night. I just want some hockey. I will have my local AHL team soon enough, the Springfield Falcons.

Ugh, the lockout! I am so annoyed. I was really looking forward to Penguins games this year. They better fix things or I will not be happy!

I will be sipping a fine Columbian Roast... each mention of glitter gets a chug.... everyone join us... the drinking game via QVC... Midnight Friday night and GLITTER to all...

I call Nancy my Grinch-ette. I told that today was 100 days!!!...she said "don't remind me." Ah, well.

It's going to be another busy day for my family. Nancy is an accountant, and has a deadline so she's working all weekend. Elizabeth has to go back to Nutcracker rehersals, and her costume fitting is today. So, my two girls will be away all day. Jacob and I are going to take mom some lunch, then we'll go out and let him do a little driving on the farm...EEK! He has to get some experience sometime, though. And I'd rather do it away from traffic.

I hope y'all have a great 100-Day day!

been playing some Wii with Kandice now.....disney universe was the game of choice...now NCIS is on.....Jamie Lee Curtis and the guy who played Sam, the Hobbit in Lord Of The Rings are in guest roles....oh how I wish Jamie to play on this show permantly....she and mark harmon have a great chemistry on the screen!!!!
