I'm not sure if I mentioned here that our wedding photographer has strangely gone MIA since our wedding, and hubs and I are really starting to get nervous about it. We were supposed to have pictures by Wednesday of last week, but she is now not returning calls, texts, or emails.
does she have a studio you can go to. ?
Perhaps it is just a family emergency that is keeping her out of contact.

TGIF!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

I've had a couple days of network issues here at work, and a busy week in the late afternoons, but I think I'm finally back on track.

Yesterday around noon I got a call from my mom's alarm company saying her alarm triggered. I knew she wasn't home, so I met the sheriff's deputy out there, but nothing was wrong. I called mom and she said she thought she might've accidentally triggered it on her way out the door that morning. Whew!

While I was at the farm, I checked the StealthCam and got some more good pix. I'll try to get some of them up today.

I have Bernie's store all day tomorrow, so I'll check in from there.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Valerie is on QVC right now!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's going to be a cool rainy day here in central Indy with a high near 54 degree's. Quite a change from yesterdays 78 degree high. I'm just hoping that the rain moves out tonight and doesn't stick around for our big fall festival tomorrow. Well it's actually going on today too. So the people with booths are probably hoping that it doesn't rain today also. If the rain does hold off. I may run out there for lunch. Some hot apple cider and a deep fried milky way sounds good. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

Speaking of Cookies, has anyone ever tried to make these? I found the recipie on-line and it sounds good, different, and definately not fat free!!!But, it has caught my attention...

Ho-Ho SnowBalls

Ingredients

(2) 6-ounce packages of white chocolate chips
¼ cup of Heavy Cream
(2) Tablespoons Bourbon or additional heavy cream
6-ounce package slivered almonds, very finely ground
1-1/2 cup sweetened flaked coconut

Directions

Place chocolate chips and cream in a medium bowl set over a pan of hot (not boiling) water; stir until melted and smooth.
Stir in Bourbon (or additional heavy cream) and almonds.
Spread in a lightly greased 8”x8” pan.
Chill for 1 hour, until firm.
Cut into one-inch squares; roll each square into ball, then roll into coconut. keep chilled.

Makes about 5 dozen

Thanks for posting, xmastidings! I re-posted it in the Recipes forum for those who don't visit the Countdown (I gave you credit for the recipe). I hope you don't mind.

We were supposed to have pictures by Wednesday of last week, but she is now not returning calls, texts, or emails. I even tried calling her from hubs's phone, thinking that maybe she was intentionally ignoring my calls, but it went straight to voicemail from his phone too. I won't even go into the crap she put us through on our wedding day (it would literally be the longest post EVER), but if we end up not getting our pictures from her, I will be irate. One of my friends that called today has volunteered to take some replacements pics for us, and our venue has agreed to let us have time to do this. The thing is, Travis won't be able to re-rent his suit, so we are hoping to find something close to it in his closet. Most of the shots we want done are ones of just me completely dressed up (she took NONE the day of...yeah...) but there are some of the both of us that we want done, so hopefully he has something he can wear. It is just such a mess, but I'm so glad we have a friend who is willing to do this for us. Hopefully my friends that did my hair and makeup will be able to help too.

I hope it all works out for you.

Hoping your feeling a bit better this morning
Over here a lot wood say that it's gives the flu
When my uncle use to get it he was never well or 2weeks
He spent one year in bed on Christmas Day,
He does not take it now.

Thanks! No, I never get the flu from a flu shot, although they tell you that you may get mild symptoms. I usually get a little ache in my arm for a day or two and maybe a little fatigue, but that's it. That's well worth going through to avoid 7 to 10 days of misery.

I recommend the flu shot. I've had one every year for a couple of decades now, and I've never had the flu any of those years.

Happy Friday everyone. We should have a warm day today. It was 48 when I left for work and looking for a high in the low 70s. The forecast is for great fall weather with highs in mid 50s and lows in upper 30s for the next few days. I hope we get a frost.

Homecoming high school football tonight. School gets out at 1:00 with the homecoming parade at 4 and the game at 7:30. Big stuff for a small town.

A group from our church is going to Hiawassee, Ga on Saturday evening to see the Christian singing group Casing Crowns in concert. Should be a great time.

Have a blessed day everyone.

The only thing better than seeing Casting Crowns live is seeing them live in the Smoky Mountains! Have a great time!

Friday morning hello! Still dragging some, but we're going into a three-day weekend, so I can stand it. Here in the U.S. Monday is Columbus Day, but seeing as how it'll be Thanksgiving in Canada, there's a good excuse to have a turkey dinner sometime during the weekend! As the LOLcats say, "Nom!"

Part of my "tired" is because Mr. hasn't been getting as much sleep as he should, from looking after his dad, and if he doesn't sleep well, neither do I. Wednesday the doctor told MIL that it could be a matter of days ... he's getting "clingy" and afraid to be left alone in a room. Although, when the doctor gave FIL about 3 months, that was 7 or 8 months ago. Mr. is "on duty" for a few hours each on Saturday, Sunday, and Monday. I'm hoping I can get him to relax some in between.

I'm hoping all of YOU get to relax some this weekend, too.

It's a frightening and exhausting time for all of you. Bless his heart, I pray he and your family can find peace through this.

Sorry to hear that. It can be so hard, and even when your not there I guess you still are thinking. So it's sore mentally and physical as well. Hopefully he will get a chance to relax a bit somehow,

Sitting waiting for daughter who is having an aviation medial done. She is going to be a pilot, hoping to make it a career yeah! Free flights for me!
Now she can fly for the Canadian Snowbirds! They are in town and we will be seeing them this weekend along with the Thunderbirds. I have seen them before, they are great!

I will be okay! I hope you get better soon!

Bo has been acting a bit off the past few days. I was planning on going to the Homecoming parade this evening, but need to stay here in case he needs help. My brother wrote a book and I have the rough draft loaded on the laptop, so I will start reading it tonight. It will be nice and quiet and I will be able to hear if Bo whines.

MERRY dreams!
I hope Bo feels better soon!

How about starbucks?
Sure! I will go to Starbucks! (oh, that invitation was to someone else?) Okay, I just invited myself!
