Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I went up to my brother's shop yesterday afternoon. He's working on a 1903 (?) pickup truck that someone found in an old barn recently. It's pretty cool! The doors and the running boards are wood-framed, then wrapped with thin metal. Even the steering wheel was wood back then. Part of it was unattached, but could be re-attached easily. Jim actually got it running! I swear, if he can't fix it, that means it ain't broke.

We're going out to Mom's for taco soup tonight. While we're out there, Jacob and I can check the trail camera.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Here's a quick picture of that truck.

I am going to be behind for the next 6 1/2 weeks because of radiation, but I will try to get caught upon the weekends. We get back so late, and then it is time for dinner and chores. I will try to check in in the mornings as many times as I can. We were able to get into the doctor's early (4:50 p.m.), but we stopped for dinner on our way home to celebrate our 14th wedding anniversary. I think of y'all often. TTYL

Thinking of you, sending love & hugs.

Happy 14th Anniversary, to you & your husband!! xo

Morning all!!!

Good Morning, Claire!! =]

Good Morning to all of you

For me it is the last work day of this week, I have tomorrow off! Yippie!!

Good Morning, Cetacea!!

Have a lovely day off tomorrow!! =)

Tomorrow I will go clothes shopping, I need some new pullovers and other winter clothes. On saturday the plan is to do grocery shopping and house cleaning. Sunday morning I'll teach my sunday school class and the rest of the day I will relax.

I don't know the movie but we tried to play the Pingu christmas story. I guess the Pingu series didn't run outside German speaking part of europe. Pingu is a children series around a penguin named Pingu and his family and friends. The whole series was made of Plasticine and was filmed like a cartoon. Pingu is still very famous around here.

It sounds like you had a blast! Your granddaughter is so smart! I wouldn't go into such a ride even if I would get a million swiss francs for it!

Wow you can go to see Bruce Springsteen live? I envy you! Enjoy the concert and the time with your mother. Take good care of your health and take the medication. I wish you a speedy recovery.

Those christmas trees are not real ones, right? I would like to have a change to do some christmas backing but most likely I won't have time for it.

This is one of my favourite christmas commercial. Of course it is also one of the best chocolate!

Oh, I am sorry for that. I guess it won't get better until after christmas.

They don't sell the polar bear cans here! I know christmas is coming when the coca cola truck commercial is running.

How great that your wife and son had a good time at the camp. Those time are to be cherished.

I am sure you will be able to have a fantastic christmas season! It is the reason for this season to show your love and compassion to your family and friends. Your thoughts and intentions on the gifts you choose or the things you planed means more than the money you can spend on it.

Yes it is. Sometimes I miss those times. My sister and I weren't always friendly with each other (I guess that is normal as kids) but for those play we were one heart and soul.

Wrapping the gifts up seems to be a smart idea. I whish you a good work day.

Take it easy until your body is used to it. I pray that the adjustment will go fast and smoothly.

Congratulation on getting a extra day off! Hope you have a great thanksgiving time!

Dear Seawaters, I wish you a succsessful radion therapy and a lot of strength to endure it. Know that you are in my thoughts. Don't worry about getting behind, your health is way more important.

Have a good morning as well.

Good morning/soon afternoon =]

Have a fabulous time, Solice!! xo

OMG!!! I haven't even caught up but I had to tell you all what happened last night... Hubby & I flipping channels waiting for the Yankee / Tiger game (that was ultimately canceled) but anyway at 8:00 PM my door bell rings, I live in a condo that is gated so we figured it was just one of our neighbors, I go to the door and nobody is there!!! BUT!!!! Wait for it........ A plastic bowl filled with candy and little nicknacks with a note stating You've Been Booed!!!! The note reads....

You've Been Boo-ed!

The phantom ghost has come to town
To leave some goodies... I see you've found.
If you wish to make this a happier fall...
Continue this greeting, this phantom call.

First, post this Phantom where it can be seen,
And leave it there until Halloween.
This will scare other Phantoms who may visit.
Be sure to participate, you don't want to miss it!

Second, make two treats & two copies from
(this is were the website link is)
Deliver them to two neighbors, try to stay calm.
Don't let them see you, be sneaky, no doubt
And make sure they put their Phantom Ghost out!

Next, you have only one day to act, so be quick!
Leave it at doors where the Phantom hasn't hit.
Deliver at dark when there isn't much light...
Ring the doorbell and run, and stay out of sight!!

And last, but not least, come join in the season.
Don't worry, be happy, you need no good reason.
This is all in good fun and we are just trying to say...
Happy Halloween & Have a Great Day!

They have a website and everything, I wasn't sure if I could post the link if it wasn't allowed or anything so if I can let me know and I will in the Halloween section, if not maybe we can do it via an email or something... This has to be the cutest thing ever!!!

LET THE HOLIDAYS BEGIN I'VE BEEN BOOED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

That is AWESOME, LB!!!!! Love it!!!!

Have you decided who you're going to Phantomize next in your neighborhood?! :pumpkin::ghost:

Seawaters- Can I borrow the jet? I just figured out they have a lodge there and a campground!!!!! The fact that they tell you to bring an electric fence if you are camping is a slight turn off but hey, if you haven't faced down a brown bear you aren't living.
I will bring the kids.. they can scare anyone! The bear wouldn't dare come near with their normal volume, hehe!

Thanks for posting for those of us who aren't on Facebook---much appreciated!
Isn't it so charming?

Now Valerie is on and the item doesn't have glitter on it. I don't know if I can take this.
I hope I remembered to record it!! I was at the park!

The treatments themselves aren't too bad. I have to hold my position for about 20 minutes, so that, of course, is when my nose or eyes itch!!! I am tired a lot, but I keep plugging along! The lymphedema will be a problem, but I will go to the clinic as soon as treatments are over. I should finish up the last Friday of November. Doesn't that sound like fun: driving 140 miles round trip five days a week for (now) six more weeks? Oh, well, lots of conversation with Hubby!
Thinking of you often, Seawaters!!

Here's a quick picture of that truck.

How cool! My boys would love that!

Good morning MMC! I am trying to read through the posts from yesterday but I keep getting interupted! Lol! I wanted to say good morning before it's afternoon! Ha ha!

Here are some pics of the afghan I made for my SIL! I hope she likes it! I named it the "In Memory of Mike Afghan" It ended up being 50" x 75"

The blue is for September, my brothers birthstone
The green is for August, my SIL's birthstone
The rust & gold are for November - their Anniversary &
The red is for love:

Ah ha! Love it! Our neighbors at the lake do this. We have a lot of fun with it! Nobody has done it this year though...bah hum bug! (only 2 weekends left at the lake b/f the water is turned off!)

Safe travels! That's a good way to look at it - quality time with the hubby!

Taco soup sounds delish after watching that snowy cabin video judesmama posted!
Very cool truck!

WOW, Holiday!! That is so beautiful!! Such love & heart put into it. She's going to love it!!

Thank you! I am happy with how it turned out, after all the struggling I did to make the colors/sequence work out right together. Lol!! Hopefully she will like it!

MerryMistletoe, I, too, would get that message about the wrong size and couldn't figure out how to do it. If I could get past that part, I think I could get some pics on here!

If you save your photo's to photobucket, you just copy and paste the IMG code into your post and it won't matter how big the picture is. It also lets you adjust the size of the picture if you want to make it smaller.
