Snow-in-Texas and I have had a very nice, very busy weekend! We did a lot of "window shopping" in historic Downtown Grapevine, Texas yesterday and looked at a lot of Christmasy things. When we left there we stopped at a mall and walked around. We listened to Christmas music on the way home then I told him that I am ready to go drive around and look at Christmas lights! We decided we can go knock on some doors and get their houses decorated before the sun goes down!

We were so tired last night, came home and watched some Christmas shows and fell asleep. I slept almost 10 hours!

Now, looking at the clock, I got to get moving! I don't have time to read everything on the Countdown this morning but will try later!

I hope you all have a Very Merry Day!!!

Go Cowboys! :!! (I hope they do better this week!)

Your day yesterday sounds perfect !!! Hope you are feeling well, xo

much better thanks, I am staying home today, enjoying a nice dinner with my family, watching the new muppet movie. They tried to get me to come in for a few hours but I said no.

Good for you !! You have gone over and above for the company and it is high time they ask someone else !! xoxo

sorry to hear you're feeling yucky. i know what you mean too w/ the brick....don't understand, why do you want to take the lights off?
Oh yea, I forgot to mention that part, we really liked the shape and fullness of the tree, but it is a pre-lit tree with white lights and well, we don't care so much for the white lights, we perfer the multi-colored mini lights and also alot more of them as well than what the tree is pre wired for.

I realize that it seems a little bit of a waste, but I have a plan, I will remove all the white bulbs and just save them to use as spares for other decorations that I have...and I also figured that we will keep this tree for hopefully another 15-20 years (since we no longer have any small children pulling on it anymore, lol), so we should at least get our monies worth out of it. Well, at least that's the plan right now....

And that brick in my stomach, I still felt it this morning after a troublesome night of sleeping... all morning, I kept thinking about the old TV commercial, "I can't believe I ate the whole thing...."

just ate my homemade spaghetti bolognese...now chilling...watching columbo at the moment...and I guess we will be watchin some movie now....been walking in park, so kandicce was jumpin around on a playground...playin with her new friends....we met the kids and their momma when we went to Disneyland Paris...there we found out, they just live 10mins away from us...we visited them yesterday...and today I went to a local park with kandice and my mom....and we met the kids with their momma there...t´was very nice and entertaining!!!!....kandice was beaming

Good afternoon, MMC!

I can't believe I finished with my work this early. I have time to work outside a bit.

I won't be back on today, so I wish all of you MERRY dreams and a most wonderful start to the new week!!!

why not leave them on and add the colored lights? That would really add to the number

sounds like you all had a fantastic day!
So nice to make new friends.

I still can't watch things about 9/11, it is hard to see those images. My oldest is now asking questions about it especially since his book fair has a book about it.

THIS gave me cold chills!!! So, so lovely!

...
"Funny" you mention that my brother is smiling down on me. When Mike died our friends gave us some beautiful wind chimes. When I was taking the pictures of the afghan, the wind chimes were going CRAZY!!!! It was a windy day, so that is not uncommon, BUT as soon as I put the camera away, they went totally silent & stayed silent. Gave me chills. Kinda cool!!

We went to Toys R Us to shop for a baby shower gift for our friend. We also had the boys go around and give us ideas for Christmas, now we know what we are getting them. We went to BK for lunch and stayed there for a while so the boys could play on the playground, while we were there, another woman was there with her sons and mother. We were talking and she comes over to me and asked me if my name was Ronnie, I said yes. She then said she was our next door neighbor when I was age 1-8, she was/is a year older than me and I was over her house almost everyday to play as kids. We had a love/hate relationship as kids, but once again someone from distant past has shown up out of the blue. Her mother watched my sister and I all the time, we had dinners, birthday parties, etc... together. How strange is that twice in one week I see someone I haven't seen in nearly 30 years?
Hope your having a great Sunday, and your football teams are winning for you.

This sounds so exciting for you! Good luck in the house hunt!

We heard from one of the property managers I've been talking to @ a potential home to rent in Eau Claire. I will look at it next month. And I also talked to a property manager of some new townhomes being built there, and I will also tour them. I prefer an actual house for yard space, but if I can't find a fenced in yard for Harlowe, then these townhouses may be the way to go. They are beautiful! And in a really nice, safe area. And they have great walking trails. At least we have some leads...

What else is new w/ you guys?

Hope those who are feeling sick get well soon, and thoses who need prayers, definitely have them. Sending much love to you all!!

Have a lovely weekend!!!
