Good Morning! I have 10 pages to catch up on but I won't have time to do so right now.

Yesterday was a rough day on me. I woke up hurting all over, felt terrible and have no idea why! I went to church and had to leave early. I came home and laid down before I went to work. I did okay at work but then my back started killing me. I am still hurting today especially in my back!

I am a die hard Cowboys fan but wanted the Ravens to win for Snow-in-Texas but it's okay. My son-in-law and grandson is happy that the Patriots won. I am happy for them!

Congratulations New York Giants and New England Patriots fans!
cah i'm sorry you feel so bad, hope you feel better soon!
Guess am the same i read the post dont have a clue about it !!
Guess it must be like supporting a football team over here
If i lived in america i wood probably support a team that has a nice shirt lol
shellie you're a hoot, hahahaha!
IT's great I saw it this weekend...it was filmed in Albany,Ga I believe!
i think you're right dawg
Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

It was a busy weekend, working at the store all day Saturday. After 13 hours there, I need a full day of rest. How in the world does Bernie do it everyday?!? And we're planning his 75th birthday party for next month! Of course, he's not there ALL day everyday, but most of the day. Whew!

Sunday after church we went to mom's for lunch, then I had to make a quick trip to a town about 45 minutes away to do 15 minutes worth of work on my side business. When I got back to mom's, my son and I shot skeet till the cold and drizzle made us go back in.

Later last night, my daughter's other grandmother gave her a bird egg she'd found. That meant I was to spend the next couple hours creating an incubator consisting of a styrofoam cooler lined with tinfoil, and a C9 Christmas light (I couldn't resist!) in the side wall of the cooler. She popped out of bed this morning to check on her egg, and to roll it to get warmth on all sides. She love it!

I hope y'all have a great day!
such a cool thing to do for your daughter!
OH! I am just soooooo disappointed today! The Ravens lost by such a little bit! But that's OK, because my sister and I will still go over Mom's for the superbowl, and spend the day reading and eating crab dip.
yum, that sounds good too!
PLEASE know that I meant nothing by my comment !!!!!! I was just curious as a new englander. Everyone is welcome to like or not like anyone they want.In the end whether the Patriots win or lose my life will not change one bit .I will still have all the same problems on Monday Feb 5th that I had the day before. However we will all still have MYMERRYCHRISTMAS.COM to talk about it !
1 of my sons is a patriots fan & my hubby was a giants fan when we met but now that the panthers are here he's all about them. so can you imagine my house super bowl night?
I don't know if I am lucky or not: I got my facelift and I will be getting perky new boobs!!! Off with the old and on with the new!!!
YOU ROCK SEAWATEERS!!!!

Good evening, all! Hope you're all having a good day. DH just went to get us dinner. I am sitting her spending time with the kids. EA is watching tv and DS is jumping in his bouncer.

DH got called for overtime tomorrow (on my day off yet to boot), so he will be working 24 hours straight. He was already supposed to work tomorrow night. It will be good for the paycheck I guess.

Nothing new here to report. As I just stated above, I work tonight, I am off Tuesday, then I work for 5 days.

Well, I am going to go read some of the countdown until DH gets home with dinner. I will check back in here later. Hope you're all enjoying your day/evening! :)

haven't read the book but omg...i love the movie!

I love the book. Anything by that author, Nicholas Sparks, is awesome. He is my favorite author. I have never read one bad title by him.

I have a hard time with all the teams left, the Patriots are the local team so the fans are all annoying, they didn't exist until about 15-16 years ago, everyone was Giants fans back then. You could not find a Pats fan anywhere. The Ravens are in the same division as the Bengals, nuff said. The Giants are from New York, I cannot consciously cheer for a team from New York being a fan of the Boston Red Sox. The 49ers broke my heart twice beating my Bengals in the Super Bowls XVI & XXIII. Never say 34 seconds in front of me, that's how close the Bengals came to winning XXIII.

I feel the same way. I just really didn't want to see the Patriots win, but of course they did, so oh well. I will still watch it because I love football, but I could care less now who wins.

sugar, i hope you get lots of rest today so you're good to go tonight!

oh, oh, oh i almost forgot have any of you seen the movie "courageous"? daughter wanted to watch it late this morning & being we have a few free pay per views i got it. from the same peeps that have done other Christian movies. i think "fireproof" & "? the giants" were 2 others. anyhoo that movie was just WOW. i'm never 1 for tearjerkers & 1 part of it just about ripped my heart out. speaks volumes to fathers. i know i'm mama but mmm mmm mmm. the jist of it (w/out giving it away) is 4 men are coworkers & friends, after an horrific tragedy, try to keep their faith in God. IT'S WONDERFULLY PUT TOGETHER & DELIVERS A POWERFUL MESSAGE W/OUT SHOVING IT DOWN YOUR THROAT.

I got a nice nap in before I went to work, thanks to my DH. He's great. He's always willing to help when I need him and vice versa. Thank God for him! Thanks!

I haven't seen that one, but I will have to check into it. DH and I did see Fireproof and did really like that one!

I guess the radio will be impossible to listen to with the Pats fans thinking the Super Bowl is theirs again. At least the Bruins and the Penguins won VERY exciting games.

Yes...thank goodness the Pens have turned it around. Hope they keep it up!

Hey everyone!

Well, it was a rough night/morning. Please pray for the people in Alabama that were injured/killed and/or had damage. A lot of areas in the state have major damage. Some neighborhoods are just destroyed. People are still trapped in houses as I type. They don't know how many people are injured or have been killed, but they do know there have been several.

Praise God, we didn't get any of the severe weather here. We had a lot or rain, wind, and lightening--but no tornadoes at my house. Schools are delayed 2 hours, though, to allow time for some of the flooded areas to be dealt with. The buses can't run through there.

I will probably have some tired and grouchy Pre-K students today. Luckily, they get to take a short nap. Hopefully, that will help. I'm sure I will hear a lot of interesting stories, though.

I hope you all have a wonderful day.
TTYL!

I was going to mention the freezing rain, we're having - never mind.

Good evening, Christmas family

Just stopping by to say goodnight. I feel exhausted. I don't know why. It is all I can do to type these few words. I wrote to my superiors at work and explained why the new schedule will not work. I wanted to do it now after the first week so that they know. I figured working a few weeks then saying I couldn' do it didn't make much sence........I sure hope they understand

Have a great Christmassy evening, dear Christmas family xoxo

(((HUGS))) to all my adopted furnieces and nephews out there xo

Hope you get good news! Will be saying a prayer for you!

Love your new avatar and sig pic!

hi my friends.....today will be hard day, because we are going to my grandpa´s funeral....can I ask for prayers for us and especially my grandmother to make through this day...as I wrote before...she is very, very brave...but lets the pain come out, too...but u never know what happens to a person when they bring their loved one to his grave :(

Saying prayers for you entire family, Track!

Good morning and Gong Hay Fat Choi (Happy Chinese New Year) all! I've been gone so long, life just got crazy on me. And it still is, but I wanted to pop in a moment and say hello and hope everyone's doing well! Hopefully I'll be able to pop in more from now on!

So, today's the first day of the Chinese New Year celebration--the year of the Dragon. I love to go down to Chinatown on my lunch hour this time of year. Last year, I was lucky enough to see a few Lion Dances, which is always fun. If loud. It doesn't compare to Christmas in my heart, but I do enjoy it.

Have a good day, all--hope to chat soon!

:-) I'm puzzled. I'm a dragon, but I've always been told I was a Green Dragon or a Luck Dragon so is this still my year even though I'm not officially a Black or Water Dragon? It's got me wondering. Supposedly there were nine dragons and I'm bits and pieces of all those dragons if you ask me. Then again, I don't rely on horoscopes to direct my life. I rely on what is, what I remember and what I hope I can help to be - like another Merry Christmas!

I think the halftime show is Madonna this year, I didn't realize she was still relevant. cheesy

:point: What! I heard it was some camel named Carl and a merry java drinking dude named JayIsh that were heading up the half-time show.

Hey everyone. Going to go lay down for work tonight. I got through some of the posts for today, but not all of them yet. Hopefully I can look at some of the tonight on my Nook when I am on my break.

Hope you're all having a good evening. I've all the sudden started to not feel so hot. This junk is going around at work - I am sort of feeling nauseated. Hopefully it passes.

Talk to you all tomorrow! Have a great rest of your evening!

Good afternoon, everyone!

Just stopping by quickly. I have been busy. Lots of work. A little vacation, too. 10 of us rented a chalet a couple miles away from Jay Peak in Vermont. It was a nice four hour drive to experience the best skiing I have ever had. Great times being surrounded by friends, too!

I hadn't skiied in about 12 years... and on the first time down, we went down on a Black Diamond. Thankfully, I managed to make it through the whole weekend with only one slip (it was icey) on a major/groomed trail. It was only about my sixth time overall skiing, too. A successful weekend!

Hope everyone is having a wonderful time. We're nearing 11 months until Christmas! I can't wait! But, until then, there is a whole bunch of experiences to be had in this year! Have a great Monday, everyone!

One set of grandkids were lodging in Vermont over Christmas and they had a grand time as well. Glad you had time to swing by our merry way and that your vacation was "successful".

yup, you are right...that is why i wrote she is brave but let s the pain come out....meaning she is crying when she feels like it...and I am glad she is doing so...because if you bottle it up...it sometimes suddenly hits people really bad afterwards.

thank u for the kind words :)

I recall always wondering how the widow or widower carries on after losing someone after spending so much time with them. As sad as it is for the whole family, I imagine it will be tremendously difficult on your grandma.

It seems to me that when sad things happen, we tend to embrace or reach out to our own loved ones more readily. You are among friends with your Christmas family and I'm sure you can feel our arms stretching across the miles with hugs.

I got choked up for a moment last night when I was sharing with my husband how much I miss my God-Mother. He misses her too and said he was happy that we were able to Aunt-knap her a few times from her independent living community so she could go for drives and lunch with us. Having some of her Christmas treasures and special memories has really helped me to remember her well and appreciate our times together. I hope you and your family will be able to share fond memories once the grief has passed.

Beautifully said, AMD!!!

I don't know too much about Chinese Astrology, to be honest--I know I was born in the year of the Dog but that's about as much as I know!
