We are going to have a relaxing evening by going over to the Chico Elks Lodge for an Italian dinner to benefit kids with disabilities. It is one of our fundraisers that I am so proud of, plus, the food will be authentic! I probably will not be on later since dinner is at 7:30 and the drive back home will take an hour. So, I will TTYT (talk to you tomorrow)!

Evening friends! We are making some holiday preparations here...we got the tree out and cleaned out the spot that we usually put it up. I've got a LONG road trip on Friday, but we will be putting up Saturday.
Tomorrow starts the special posts...I'm excited. Can't wait to read all of them....awesome. Things are truly about to get exciting around here.
Things are getting cold here....we are supposed to hit freezing tonight. We got the first place on and it just feels more Christmassy by the day.....
I'm going to be around reading and drinking coffee...I will see yall later tonight....

Busy day. Kim and I had a trip to the hospital. She's been doing much better since her visit to emergency last Friday. It seems that there is nothing seriously wrong. She may have had an inflammation in her lower back. No internal damage. Good news! We were only at the hospital for about three hours. As much as I don't like hospitals, it could have been worse. They did a great job!
No new developments on anything today, really. Still searching for a new job. I applied to a couple places. I also need to submit a few resumes and cover letters elsewhere tonight or tomorrow. I'll find something eventually.
Weather-wise... Are we sure it's not the Christmas Season just yet? The temperature feels a lot like Christmas... -5c tonight with a windchill of -11c! That's 12f! Brrrr! I'm sure that the special posts tomorrow morning will make it feel like Christmas is in clear sight. Good luck to all those writing their special posts. You will do a fantastic job!

The snow is really coming down right now, my car is covered with a dusting, but I have my candles up and on with Christmas music playing. It feels Christmassy now, I was so tempted to put up the 3 foot tree in the window but I held back, for now. cheesy
