So it's Friday!
We are going to my niece's Birthday this weekend,
and I have to drive my girl to a basketball game Sunday morning.
Other than that, Im going to make plans for Thanksgiving and decorate more for Christmas

I think I'll have to bake some Christmas cookies todaylaying:

Cold, yet Seasonal weather continued yesterday.
Not much rain but it just felt damp all day. Should be a tad nicer today.
We stand at 44 degrees here in the capital city at this hour.

LOL!!!! I have a neighbor that won't come over when I have all of my Santa's out. They say it just feels like the Santas are alive and watching them.

I am going to spend time with Hubby, watching football. Dinner was good and the pumpkin cookies with pumpkin cream cheese frosting and the pumpkin cookies with pumpkin spice kisses will top it all off. Oh, I forgot to tell you: On our way to radiation today, I got a phone call from the doctor. The "machine" was down. We were almost to Redding, so we continued to Michael's where I spent a few dollars and then returned home. Have a good evening, everyone.

well you did get a break from it & got to go to Michaels, i love that place!

Good evening MMC! So I haven't had a chance to read any posts at all today, but I'm hoping to have a chance here in a few! I am feeling so darn Christmassy, I just had to share. Today I went Christmas shopping to Muncie, IN with 10 of our neighbor ladies. We had such a good time! We were talking about our neighborhood house hopping this year & I was thinking how this year our house is one of the houses everyone will come too (we take turns between 18 families - 4 houses per year) & I realized I needed to decorate our basement again as that is where we normally hang out on that night. So I picked up some extra lights & this is how far I got on the basement tonight.... (yes, our aquarium needs more water...

AND at 10:00 I decided to start on the tree upstairs (our "main" tree) & this is how far I got...



Hee hee hee...so as you can see, I don't have a lot of time to socialize right now...I want to get at least one row of branches on b/f I call it a night - maybe 2!!

(Sorry for the low quality cell phone pics...I'll try to do better!) BBL! I have things to do....

oh no Britt. i am so sorry this has happened to you. @ 1st i know it's hard, but try to take it 1 hour @ a time, then 1 day @ a time, & you will see it will get easier. i promise. i'll be praying for you sweety.

i cannot wait to get off work this evening. hubby is @ work & after today will be off an entire week, lucky him. i work tuesday & wednesday then i'm off until the tuesday after Thanksgiving.
i only have a little more to pick up @ the store to prepare for Thanksgiving dinner.
my baby girl is home sick today. she woke me around 1:30 last night saying she felt nauseated so i got up & got her some meds & put her to bed again. after reading this previous sentence, i realized it sounds like she's very young (she's 16) but she's still my baby! i think she has been able to sleep since then but she will stay home today.

things are moving right along, Christmas seems to come so fast after you get to a certain date, huh? i hope everyone has a fantastic day!:merry:

well, that time again, off to work. I am glad the cakes are now safe at the competition site. Now I get to start on the gingerbread house competition.

Also start my new temp job of demoing the Keurig machine tomorrow, that should be fun!

my hubby is 57 & i'm 41. his bp has always been better than mine. lately he's started this thing about him getting old. i say oh no, we are not going there & you are gonna take care of this. he is really not wanting to have to take meds so i know he will be serious about this. thanks bradmac.

please take pictures!!!! the Nutcracker begins here tomorrow night also, our community playhouse puts it on. Elizabeth will be the best mouse ever i'm sure. break a leg girl!!!!!

I'm sure your husband will do great. I've heard that 57 is the new 40!

Also, Nancy just told me (after I was running around like a crazy man looking for battery chargers) that they won't allow cameras or camcorders in the theater. But, for a nominal fee, they will sell you a professional recording after the event. Hmph.

It might be nice for a change, though, to be able to watch the performance isntead of running equipment. cheesy

Holiday, it's fun seeing your decorating in progress!

My new tree came yesterday---I opened it, but it's not out of the box yet. Maybe this weekend, if I have time. Thinking about hanging some lights on the windows next to my desk at the office. The office doesn't decorate for Christmas, but various people always enjoy my desktop lighted tree (one of those made from coat hangers and tinsel) and the Rudolph characters in my toy barn.

On a sad note, a dog belonging to one of my co-workers is seriously ill. His name is Guinness, and his owner frequently brings him to the office. If Guinn can be saved by surgery, they're planning to take up a collection by PayPal to help defray the expense for the owner. Prayers for Guinness, please.

Dinner was good and the pumpkin cookies with pumpkin cream cheese frosting and the pumpkin cookies with pumpkin spice kisses will top it all off.

I've been wondering ... do you like pumpkin-flavored treats at all? :mrgreen:

Happy Friday! It is so hard to believe this is the last Friday before Thanksgiving!! How did that happen?! We have a busy weekend ahead - tree decorating tonight (hubby is going to a guys night, fish fry, cards...) tomorrow we have our neighbors wedding & Sunday is my hubby's Dads family's Thanksgiving for lunch. There is also a Christmas open house I would like to stop in on Sunday at Ben Franklin - 20% off your total purchase! And we are also supposed to go to our lake neighbors house (hour south of here) to pick up a bar sign being donated to a benefit/auction for a lady here who has a very bad cancer. There is also a 5k Sunday morning I would like to do, I just need more hours in my Sunday! :lol:

Don't forget ABC Families Christmas movies start on Sunday!! Have a great day!!
