Christmas Countdown - 2012

I have been disappointed by the new crop of Christmas commercials this year, I keep seeing car dealer Christmas commercials, and all I can think is why would I want to give a big expensive monthly car payment for Christmas? I have seen the classic M&M meet Santa commercial once, and I have yet to see the old Hershey Kisses bells commercial. I hope they start to get better soon.

If I see another Chevy commercial, I may switch my allegiance to ford.

I do have to say I like the "What's that in reindeer power?" line. Seeing the guys face when he sees the Santa salesman trying to figure it out is priceless. cheesy

Good Morning MMC!!!! It's a cool day here in Central Indy with a predicted high in the low 40's. That's a big difference from the 70 degree's that we had on Monday. I don't have much going on today. Just a few errands to run and maybe some baking if I get a motivated. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!

Our Dish Network DVR receiver has been down for a week, so i'm missing the airings for the great Christmas movies like Rudolph! Hopefully, it'll be fixed before the weekend.

In the meantime, we're watching a lot of Netflix. We watched a movie last night called Christmas With a Capital "C". It was a great movie! I highly recommend it.

Another Wednesday, and I don't want to head to work. My body is already heading into vacation mode and I have less than 3 weeks until I am on vacay. I cannot wait!!!!

I see the Hershey's Kisses commercial on a nightly basis! It is especially on during the Wheel of Fortune/Jeopardy hour that Kim likes to watch. I believe it was on during Rudolph last night, too! Hopefully you'll get to see it. At least you've seen the classic M&Ms meet Santa commercial. I haven't seen it yet. That may be my all-time favourite.

Good afternoon everyone,

We're about halfway through the workweek. It's great to celebrate at The Pines, too! Carl keeps bringing the Christmas Spirit as we approach the big day. It's wonderful to see!

Following work yesterday, I had my ultrasound. From what I can tell, my results weren't the greatest, but at least I have an idea of what to expect. I made an appointment to view the result with my doctor next Tuesday. He's out of the office until then. Anyway, my understanding is that I may have torn my meniscus. It will probably require surgery. I am very hopeful that I can have the surgery by February, but we shall see. It's disappointing, but at least my knee issue is finally being diagnosed.

Last night, Kim and I enjoyed watching Rudolph. We hadn't seen it in a few years and the remastering is really nice. The sound is much better than before, and of course it's quite clear in HD. Kim also watched the Victoria Secret show... I was into doing other things while that was on.

Not much happening today. I'll return to the gym after work. I'm happy that I have a better idea of my injury, now I know where not to push it.

hi everyone....I wasn´t on mmc very much the last few days....I would like to ask for prayers for me....on Monday I will have to have a Proctoscopy (not looking forward to that procedure )......and as always I am panicing that the outcome will be devastating...it is part of my character to always worry terribly and expect the worst....so I would appreciate if You guys could pray for me that all is fine....or that it is nothing major....as both doctors have already said...that they think it is nothing serious...so I would appreciate You guys to say a lil prayer for me....thank You in advance

Sorry you didn't ge thte answer you wanted, but, as you say, at least you have a diagnosis and it's repairable. Good luck with it!

My last radiation is over!!! Hooray!!! For some reason, today was extra tiring. I am going to take a nap and will be back on afterwards. Take care, everyone. Track, I think endoscopy is through the mouth and proctoscopy is the other end! Hubby has had many endosopies done to have his esophogus "stretched" out.

Snowflake, so good to see you. How is the move coming along?

I received my smoked brown sugar, and it smells and tastes divine. I think I will try it on some ham first.

Brent, take care. I have had two knee surgeries and they are not really too bad. I healed fairly quickly and then had physical therapy. No more pain! Good luck to you.

The move is coming along pretty well, Thanks for asking. We are at a point where it's hard to pack the things that you'll be needing on a daily basis, but there are some closets that we can start on. We were planning on trading in our car and truck on Saturday, then the truck broke down last night... And so that fun begins, LOL!

I saw you talking about your brown sugar being in and testing it out on some ham… I would be happy to come and help you try it out
