Good Morning MMC!!!!! It's going to be a warm day here in central Indy with a high of 64 today. That's 30 degrees above our normal high for this time of year. I'm headed to church here in a few and then it will be back home for the party. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

It's the big Christmas party today! Carl's decorations are awesome! Trees food and more!

No snow here in the snow belt for Christmas they say. I hope we get snow for Christmas and that they are wrong! I can't wait to watch William open his gifts too. I am just sitting down to relax and watching a show on TLC called My Crazy Obsession; Christmas Collection. It's fascinating! The lady on there now has about 175 Christmas trees in her house! Of course they come in all sizes.. I'll have to tell Adrian, because he thinks it's nuts that we have two To put together, and a five smaller ones that are Pretty much ready to go

Anyways, just wanted to let you know that I'm thinking @ all of you at this wondrous time of the year! Much love!

Good morning, MMC!

I must have jinxed myself yesterday when I told you all that we were supposed to get a white Christmas. They cancelled their snow prediction for 12/21-12/24. I am very disappointed, but I guess I am used to it. Lately, we have been getting all of our snow after Christmas, especially in January and February.

What are you all up to this lovely Sunday? Anything planned with your families or friends? See any good Christmas movies lately? I am looking for something new to watch, so if you've seen anything worth watching, let me know!

My plans changed yesterday and I ended up going to the mall for some last minute things, so I am going to have to take the final exam that I planned on taking then today. I didn't get to study as much as I hoped, but I did the best that I could do in the given time. This final is going to be very hard so I am a little nervous. I only have 60 minutes to answer 50 questions - yikes.

I am going to do some last minute cramming/studying and then get this test done so I can watch the Steelers vs Cowboys later this afternoon. It should be a good game! All of my friends from around here make fun of me because the Steelers and Cowboys are huge rivals, but I actually don't mind the Cowboys at all. They are the 2nd team I root for aside from the Steelers. I told my family I would wear my Tony Romo jersey for half of the game and then my Ben Roethlisberger jersey for the other half....they weren't too fond of that idea! The Steelers really do need to win this game desperately if they have any hope for the playoffs. This year they have looked pretty rough.

It is chilly and gray here in northern California this morning. Hubby is fixing pumpkin spice eggnog waffles even as we speak. Today is his birthday and his main activity will be watching football, which he loves. We are going to some friends' place later for a get together they put on every December. The husband is a local artist who also used to teach at the high school. He is a member of the Lions Club and donates paintings for scholarships every year. The get together is his way of thanking those who have supported his work and the scholarship fund. He also gives away at least one painting during the event. The food is always fantastic. I told Hubby that this will be his birthday dinner!!! The World's Biggest Christmas Party starts in half an hour! Hooray! To have that, Darlene Love, and Hubby's birthday all in the same week is, well, special!!!I am really looking forward to all three events!

I agree! It's insane that the lady with all those Christmas trees turns their heat off because the heat from all of the bulbs keeps her house at 82°!!

I find it difficult to put up and decorate our two trees, the other smaller ones we have are just tabletop ones to make Other rooms in the house festive

I don't know about you, but it takes us a full two days to decorate for Christmas sometimes longer especially with my Christmas village. And I thought we were fanatics, Xmas!!

I take my time and set everything up over 2 weeks, I set the trees up and let the cats get used to them being up for a week before decorating them. I know I am a fanatic for the "feeling" Christmas brings, not the materialistic aspect of snowmen, nutcrackers, and so on. I do have my things but its not what I center my celebration on.

I think it will be an Adjustment, for it has been a couple years since she has seen snow. But I think the puppy that's still in her will love to play in it! I'm Wondering if we'll have any mishaps in the beginning, since she's used to going to the back patio doors, And now we'll have a couple of new doors! It will be interesting, for sure!

oh my oh my....only 8 days to go...I can hardly believe it.....because of some medical reason....lol....I could not enjoy December as much as I wanted too....but I am determined to do so the next entire week....we will start it off today by going ice-skating!!!!! looking forward to it so much....and Kandice as well....my boyfriend not so much...and I am pretty sure he will find a way not to get on the ice....lol...he has never done and is afraid of embarrassing himself by falling on his buttocks....lol

I haven't been ice skating in years, I use to do it everyday after school playing hockey until we couldn't see any longer.

I remember when we moved into Hubby's house and brought the cat. We didn't change towns or climate, but we knew that cats need to adjust or they could very well go back to their previous house; so we kept her inside for three days and then allowed her to go out. Dogs, on the other hand, seem to adjust better to new places. Not sure why.

We really don't have anything special planned for Christmas, just RESTING!!! I go back to work when the kids return to school on January 7. I am hoping my strength holds out!
