It is chilly and gray here in northern California this morning. Hubby is fixing pumpkin spice eggnog waffles even as we speak. Today is his birthday and his main activity will be watching football, which he loves. We are going to some friends' place later for a get together they put on every December. The husband is a local artist who also used to teach at the high school. He is a member of the Lions Club and donates paintings for scholarships every year. The get together is his way of thanking those who have supported his work and the scholarship fund. He also gives away at least one painting during the event. The food is always fantastic. I told Hubby that this will be his birthday dinner!!! The World's Biggest Christmas Party starts in half an hour! Hooray! To have that, Darlene Love, and Hubby's birthday all in the same week is, well, special!!!I am really looking forward to all three events!
