Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to warm up here today with a high around 50 degrees predicted. It looks like the high winds are going to stick around though. I'm not quite sure what I'm going to do today. It will probably take me all day to read all of the posts that you guys made overnight. Y'all have been busy. We have not had much of a winter, but no signs of spring yet up here. But, then again, we're always a couple months behind Georgia on warm weather! Still, I can't wait for the trees to begin to bud in two and a half months! Mid-April is not that far away.

I think all the winter has been confined to the Northwest and Alaska!! I have never ever seen my pear trees start to bloom in early Feb,but I think that is what is about to happen,they have tiny buds on them..its usally mid march when they bloom. I am so excited about spring too..It means baseball is right around the corner!!!woo hoo!

Under 2 weeks now until the one-quarter Season Milestone marker!

Even colder yet today, where we have started here at 34 degrees.
Fortunately, it is supposed to get progressively warmer until next weekend so we have a positive trend to look forward to!

As we near the end of January, I am pleased to report there are at least 5-6 houses in our neighborhood that still have Christmas decorations up!
Makes me feel good to see them each morning when I walk the dog.

Lucky you Crown. I have a neighbor that still has their lights up. It's the only house I've seen for a while that still has them up. It's so great to see when I take my pup out for her "activities.":

Good Merry Monday everyone. I finally got caught up on the countdown, boy that's what I get for slacking over the weekend.:smile: It was a crazy busy weekend for me and like many I'm not ready for the week to start. It's bound to be a busy day but so far so good. I'm listening to the soundtrack of the new The Muppets movie as I type this and boy does it put a smile on my face. Makes me feel a little Christmassy. No real reason, it wasn't a Christmas movie but the innocence of the movie just makes me feel that way I guess.

Glad to see old faces coming back(well new to me but seem like old friends to many of you). Hope you all have a great day and I'll be checking back soon!

Oh, how I miss you all! I have had some computer issues (aka my little guy SNAPPED THE HINGES ON MY LAPTOP!!! Now I have to prop it up with a pillow, lol! And our wifi stopped working for awhile, but we're good now!) and I've missed you all!! I can't believe Christmas was over a month ago...and I STILL have my fake tree up in my bedroom! (And my year-round tiny tree is staying up!) When we were driving home from my grandmom's last night, we saw about 10 houses with lights on still! And one house still had a large tree inside, all lit up! It made me sooo happy!

I take this time of the year until about July (when we celebrate Christmas in July and I enter FULL Christmas mode!) to scope out deals and go "Christmas hunting" in the mall with my fam... we go to stores and look for anythign Christmasy we can find.. I've gotten some serious deals doing that!

I hope everyone is doing well!! There's no way I can catch up all on the posts I've missed but know I think of you all often!

Just watching one of my favorite movies Slap Shot right now, doing laundry and other things. I ran to my job, and dropped off more paperwork, got to see some friends that cheered me up a little, I just feel a little depressed being stuck at home day in and day out.

I no it horrible not being able to get out and about especially when your used to workiing and taking to people. but hopefully it will not be for much longer.
