Christmas Countdown - 2012

Happy Saturday!!

What are your plans??

I'm just going to hang around the house & catch up on some housework & laundry. I'm pooped after the Redneck party yesterday!! It was a big success, and lots of fun! We did the conex pull, "keg" toss, cornhole, "hot tub" (our former VP was the only one crazy enough to get in!), and costume contest. There was so much good food that I'm still full. The only downside is a minor sunburn on my head & neck. I wore a pink camouflage bandana to cover up, but the sun must've penetrated through =(
I'll have a headache for a few days, but I'll survive! :wink:

Hubby is going mountain biking for a bit, then is coming back to grill for dinner. After that, a friend is coming over for scary movie night & to catch up on girl talk. Hubby is going to hang out w/ her husband for guy time & PS3, lol. Should be fun.

well, cake delivered, done my shopping at the farmers market. Dog sitting today and want to get some cleaning done.
Other than that I have nothing to do today.

We got a nice dump of snow last night which is already starting to melt.

I just noticed something cute with the little green squares to the right of each post, sort of in the heading. Put your cursor on it and see what happens!!! Is this new, or am I a day late and a dollar short again???
Not for me to answer that last bit !!!! lol BUT think them wee squares have been about a while

If you order any Santa's you can store them in my apartment!!!!! Of course I may have to open a few and display them to make sure they are up to your high standards.

February Baking Blitz is over and most of the dishes are done - yay! I made buttermilk biscuits, Luscious Lemon Bundt cake, banana nut bread and a batch of pineapple and cranberry buttermilk muffins. The cake and muffin recipes are new ones I wanted to try out before the holidays get here - it is my new Rudolph Day tradition :rudolph:

Good afternoon! Just got up here a short while ago. I need to get motivated to go work out. I hope I can get some energy soon! Maybe with reading some posts, I will get some!

It snowed a dusting here today...blah. I just wish spring would come!

Anyone have any plans for tonight? I'm working!

I just realized it was Rudolph Day! I can't believe it's the 25th...the month and the year is going by sooooo fast!

My second day back was better than #1, I was able to work on a project on the computer for the last 2.5 hours of my shift. Our date tonight was great, went to a little Italian restaurant, such great food. Then we went to a store and looked at laptops to replace this one, which is getting slower and slower as I type, I am typing faster than it prints it on the screen and I am a very slow typist. A few more weeks and we will replace this antiquated machine. I work at 7am tomorrow morning, so I must get to bed, just had to catch up here before I catch some z's.

Glad to hear your second day back went well! Also glad to hear that date night went well!
