Sleigh to Drive by: Auntie Mistletoe
(based on the song Ticket to Ride by John Lennon and Paul McCartney as performed by The Beatles)

I think I’m gonna be merry and glad
Christmas time is comin‘, hurray
The reindeer are flying me to your pad
HoHo, I’m on my way
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
Christmas surprises I will share
Kissed Mrs. Claus before I fled
I double-checked my list, yeah
Fed the reindeer and loaded the sled
Reindeer prancing all around

I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
Christmas surprises I will share
The reindeer are soaring real high
I have millions of deliveries to make
And that’s no word of a lie
I’ll be landing on your roof tonight
Plate of cookies left waiting for me
Be sure the kiddies are tucked in for the night
I’m stuffing stockings and leaving gifts around the tree
In the morning, I’ll be back at the North Pole
When the wee ones wake with glee
I think I’m gonna be merry and glad
Christmas time is comin‘, hurray
The reindeer are flying me to your pad

I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
Christmas surprises I will share
The reindeer are soaring real high
I have millions of deliveries to make
And that’s no word of a lie
I’ll be landing on your roof tonight
Plate of cookies left waiting for me
Be sure the kiddies are tucked in for the night

I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
I’ve got a sleigh to drive
Christmas surprises I will share
Mrs. Claus is waiting for me, I must hurry
Mrs. Claus is waiting for me, I must hurry
Mrs. Claus is waiting, I must hurry

Awesome job!!! You are very clever!!!

Well O'Malley the cat digs it!

Good evening,

I got to come home early, and beat the freezing rain. The roads were not too bad yet. They are calling for about a foot now. I heard on the radio on my way home that Davy Jones of the Monkees died today, when I was a kid the Monkees were my favorite group, I even did a report on them when I was in 5th grade. Once again my music tastes never followed the popular groups of the time.

RIP Davy Jones

This is very sad, especially since he seemed fine to everybody. This was very unexpected. Just shows how precious and short life can be. I can't say that The Monkees were ever my favorite group, I did watch their TV show and liked some of their music though.

They say that strange things can happen on "Leap Day", well yesterday at work it definitely seemed that way. One example was that one of our customers said we shorted them a pallet of paper (that's 40 boxes of printer paper). I checked our inventory and it checked out that we had what we were supposed to have, which meant that we did NOT short them the pallet. Well one of our drivers backed into one of the doors with an inbound load of paper and I happen to look into that trailer, and there was the missing pallet. How in the heck it got onto that trailer nobody knows. It wasn't the same trailer it was originally loaded on, and it didn't come from the same place we shipped it to. I felt like I stepped into the Twilight Zone.

Hello and best wishes to all ... I haven't been replying to many individual message lately, but I'm trying to keep up and enjoying everyone's posts.

Tired today ... awakened last night by about the worst leg cramp I've ever had in my life. Once I was able to get on my feet, it took quite a while to get the muscle settled down and get comfortable again. Haven't had one of those for a long while, so it was a nasty surprise. I hope the workday is less crazy than yesterday.

The snow kind of fizzled into a wet, slushy mess, but is supposed to pick up again today. The temps are a few degrees above freezing, and I hope they stay there until I can get home tonight.

Good Thursday morning, my Christmas friends!

I don't have the flu, but I do have an ear & throat infection. Yuck! So now I'm taking antibiotics. Still feel bad, but I came to work. As long as I'm not really contagious, I might as well feel bad here, huh?

Hope you feel better, Brad! Hope those antibiotics work fast for you :)

Congrats to Shellie! An excellent choice for Member of the Month!!

I hope y'all have a great day!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a cooler day here with a high near 50. That's a 20 degree drop from yesterday. I'm currently sitting at the spine doctor with my sister. She doesn' t know her way around the south side of Indy so I had to ride along to show her how to get here. I think her gift for christmas next year is going to be a gps. At least they have wifi here because it's a 2 hour appointment. This afternoon I have to run to the grocery and then maybe a nap. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!

Not only are you a great uncle, but a great brother too!! =)

We have hit a patch of financial bad luck lately...we owe the Government taxes this year PLUS my car totally died...they think it "jumped time" or something like that and it is going to be costly PLUS my laptop is gone.... Oh well... at least it isn't that long now until Christmas in July !!

Sending love and ((((Hugs)))) to everyone including Ella, Harlowe,Daisy,Gomez, Snickers,Chico, Snowball, Sasha and Scooby

So I just listened to President Reagan's Christmas speech from 1981 I know its on the forums somewhere too.I cant believe how good it was and can only imagine the controversy it would cause if anyone gave that speech in today's society. Ahh the good old days although I was only 9 when this speech was given!

Sorry you have hit a rough patch. Hang in there as I'm sure you will.

Good Morning, my Double-200's Friends!
And should we?
DARE we??
<< What Crown, what? >>
Check on the next Milestone, that's what!
<< OK, OK, What is it? >>
It's the 1/3 mark to the Season, number 3 on our list, and it's a scant 2 weeks from today.
<< Impossible! A THIRD of the way to the Season already, Crown?? >>
The post #1 chart don't lie, little voice.

I am inclined to continue the voice with excitement. 1/3 of the way to the Christmas Season!? In only two more weeks?! We're flying through this year. Flying so fast that I forgot to change my calendar this morning!

Brad - Good luck fighting off those infections!

Shellie - Congratulations on being the Member of the Month!!

Good afternoon, everyone!

It's Thursday. We're on our way towards a new Milestone and only a day and a half away from the weekend! The weekend weather does not appear to be ideal - with a mix of rain and snow showers - but it is March weather. As we get into next week, however, it should be getting warmer. The forecast states that we could reach 8C or 9C by mid-week! Then, the 14 day forecast also calls for double digits (12C, 50F+) by the following mid-week. It is a ways away, but I am ready to start seeing some grass. I like winter and wish it could have stayed a little longer, but as soon as the rinks are done, I am ready to go outside and start practicing and training outdoors!

Last night was all right. The gym was fun. I was there for about an hour and a half and really enjoyed the lifts. I think there is another gym session tonight, but it is at the university. I haven't been there in a couple weeks. The friend I usually meet there was incredibly sick last week - he was bed ridden for four or five days - is now healthy. I'm excited for the workout.

I don't know of anything else going on. Last week, I told Kim I'd take her out for dinner this weekend. She's always excited when I utter those words. Now, she has to decide whether she wants to go out tomorrow or Saturday. At least we know we will be heading to The Works! http://www.worksburger.com/ It is a local/Ontario restaurant franchise that has nearly 100 burgers on their menu. Oh, and their fries and onion rings are also very delicious! I'm hoping Kim chooses tomorrow, but I know that I will have to go the gym beforehand! I will feel guilty if I don't... Plus, I enjoy eating more than I should! :)

Well, have a great Thursday, everyone! The day is half over. The weekend is in sight!

Hello, Christmas family! This week has been dragging for me, how about for anyone else? I am on spring break after my classes tomorrow, so I'm guessing the excitement of being off for a week is making this week go by slowly. I had a Statistics test this morning and I think that I did pretty well. Mt midterm yesterday was awful - it covered eight chapters so there was so much information that I had to learn.

For some reason, I feel like the days/weeks/months are really flying by. It's March already?! It just doesn't seem right at all. I remember shopping for presents, decorating, and watching constant Christmas movies like it was yesterday. The depression that hit once the season was over is now long gone because I feel like we're already flying into the next Christmas season. All of the excitement will really hit with Christmas in July, and then I will start getting extremely excited by September. I remember this past September when I walked into Walmart and saw that they put all of their trees up, I was thrilled. I started buying the decorations as they put them out lol! I bought a nice countdown - it goes into the double digits, so I will be hanging it up when it hits 99 days!

I hope you are all having a great day. I am going to throw together a sandwich and then run some errands!

They most definitely are. I've tried about six or seven of them... But, I'm always inclined to return to

R.O.F. - o-ring, jalapeno, banana & chipotle peppers, "hotter than hell" and jack - 12.97... It is a little warm but absolutely delicious!

Good afternoon, everyone! We seem to be having a spring preview with our weather today; 64 degrees, sunny, breezy, very pleasant. Some of my daffodils are blooming, and I feel like I'm ready for Easter.

Have a great day!
