I'm flying to New Jersey tomorrow, is the weather nice on the east coast?

I believe it is supposed to be sunny, hot, chance of an afternoon thunderstorm, high's around 96 in the suburbs and over 100 in Baltimore...

It is going to be a warm one here today - 95 according to a forecast I heard on a local radio station. I have to run errands in the morning while it is still fairly cool out and then I hope to be able to work this afternoon. I have been having technical difficulties with the computer I normally use - hopefully I will have it fixed later!

Wayne and I were just talking about Cracker Barrel. That is my very favorite place for Christmas decorations. I buy something from them every year. I like their Halloween stuff too! The prices are not too bad and they run sales on their goodies quite a bit!

Good to know! We will definitely head back there during our Christmas excursions this year.

I can not believe my middle child turned 7 today. Born just 1 pound 10 ounces she is now heading into the 1st grade. Our little miracle baby never ceases to amaze us.

Hey everyone. I'm off today, but just really didn't feel like logging on and reading all the posts. I've had a constant headache for the past two days, so I just tried to relax. I think it's from my neck/back being out and plus from lack of sleep. Hopefully since I am off tonight, I can get some rest.

We're soon getting ready to take the kids to the drive-ins, so I hope I will stay awake during the movie...haha. It should be fun.

Well, I plan on getting caught up tomorrow and talking to you guys then. Hope all is well!

I hope everyone has some a/c to hide out in today! I hear it's hot almost everywhere in the US. Supposed to be 98 and humid today!! Boooo!!! And it's the first day of summer - that means the last day of summer is one step closer, right? :cold:

We'll be heading to the park in a few minutes to get outdoor before we roast. Then I have to find some activities to entertain the kids indoors today. I am thinking some crafts, maybe get a head start on some Christmas projects and blast MCR (and the a/c!)

well we marked the date for our Open House @ work for Christmas. yaaay Christmas...booooo open house (way too much work)

xmas had mentioned he received the lakeside collection catalog the other day, i looked through ours & didn't find much. thought there would've been more Christmassy stuff. i did see that we had gotten some catalogs in @ work for Christmas but haven't had a chance to look through them yet. usually that stuff is "far out" & less traditional, but i love it all.

I always loved working at a department store during the holidays - more hours and all the Christmas decorations and goodies out. Corporate did the ordering so there were no catalogs to go through, but it was still a fun time!

Happy Wednesday MMC!! Its a lovely warm day here today, took my youngest daughter swimming this morning with a friend and her daughter too, we had a lovely time!!

Thinking about having BBQ for tea, making the most of this weather as its supposed to rain for the rest of the week! typical british summertime haha!!

My eldest informed me that she only has 6 weeks of school left before they break for summer hols! Where has this year gone!! Im going to be starting my christmas lists before I know it hehe!!
