I know I took a sabatical leave ages ago but I'm back!! Here's my update:

I got a promotion in April--YAY!! I'm now an Accountant I.

I attended my cousin's wedding during Memorial Day weekend and had a wonderful time.

I'm now in a long-distance relationship with a great guy!! We make each other happy!! He hopes to come down for Labor Day weekend.

I celebrated my "Sweet 16" post-transplant anniversary on June 14th. Here's to the next 16 years!!!

I'm at a good place physically and it shows!! I'm down to a size 8 in petite pants/shorts and a petite small in tops!! Also, I'm keeping my apartment and work area CLEAN and organized and that just feels so good.

I leave for the Transplant Games of America on July 28th and I'm SO EXCITED at reuniting with my "transplant family."

Well I did the best I could. It wasn't necessarily the best day to have to drive for 3 hours each way to go to a funeral but at least my aunt's car has good air conditioning.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be really hot here in Central Indy today with a high of 102. I don't have to babysit this morning but I'm getting ready to head to southern Indiana here in a couple of hours for a funeral. We haven't seen Ted in years but if it wasn't for him convincing my grandpa to move to Indiana in the early 60's I might be Sugar's next door neighbor right now. Then I have to head home and pick up my niece's to stay overnight because my sister finally has surgery tomorrow!!!!! So hopefully things can get back to normal here soon. I hope everyone has a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!

From the little bit I watched/listened to, the music was pretty nostalgic, IMO. I got it on Amazon, & there were about four choices. I reviewed them, going with the one with the best reviews. Good luch in your search. I think this one is "Happy Holiday Hearth" or some such title.

My neuropathy doesn't start until the next day. I use Aquaphor which helps but the tips of the fingers are SO tender that I cannot button any buttons. Hubby bought me a bigger keyboard so my fingers have a larger area on each key, but I still have to type slowly and "tenderly." This time, the hands hurt but so did the bones!!! Tomorrow or Saturday should be better.

Yesterday my granddaughter and I took a walk before it got too hot. Started out at 9:30 am then headed to the park for a very short time. We came home then I let my granddaughter play in the water sprinkler out in the backyard.

We came in and read some books and watched The Santa Clause. She loves that movie!

I think we might take another walk today.

We took all the children + my nephew to the city today.
Market place/farmers market, amusement park, lots of fun.

I heard an ad on the radio this morning about a special type of earplug that is made to draw trapped water out of the ear in 5 to 10 minutes ... but I can't remember the name of the product. If I hear it again, I'll let you know.

MY OLDEST SON IS STILL BROKEN UP W/ HIS GIRL TOO. THEY WERE NOT AS SERIOUS & SHE ALWAYS KEPT HER DISTANCE FROM US SO THAT WAS EASIER TO DEAL W/ & THEY WEREN'T ENGAGED. HE STAYS ON THE GO ALOT MORE & IS NOT HOME MUCH. HE ALWAYS GOES & DOES THINGS BUT NOT SETH. HE'S A HOMEBODY & LIKES TO HANG OUT HERE W/ HIS DAD. I'M SURE ALL WILL BE FINE.
