With the New Year at hand, I reflected this morning on the people I knew who didn't make it to see 3012. Gone, but not forgotten ... Clarence Clemons, Nickolas Ashford, Andy Rooney, Elizabeth Taylor, Pete Posthelwaite, Peter Falk, lesser known to y'all ... Jim, Joe & Maureen (not that Maureen).

Good morning, Christmas family!
I had every intention of counting down to the new year with all of you, but I took an allergy tablet and fell asleep before 10pm :-(
Today I start filling in this year's calendar. It is a daunting task as I have added to this one a year's worth of organizational days - my house will be clutter free before I know it, or at least as soon as the calendar says it should be :grin:
Have a most excellent New Year's Day and make it a MERRY one!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!! We are starting 2012 off with a bang here in central Indy. We are having 50mph wind gusts and a cold front is going to bring some bitter cold air in. Today I plan on sitting around and admiring my Christmas Decorations for one final day. They will all start coming down tomorrow. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!

Hope this finds everyone feeling ok....if not great. The wifey and I were in bed right before midnight and we watched a couple of shows of Pickers, but we never even thought about the New Year coming in. It was really a peaceful NYE spent with friends and relaxing. We really enjoyed it. I hope you did the same.
As for today, I'm going to do some work and watch as much NFL football as I possibly can. Enjoy your day!

Just woke up, turned on my TV and look what's on! Christmas on Ice! What a nice way start off my New Year!
No work for me tomorrow so I will get to stay up and watch the Cowboys play. Hmmm... Let's just hope they can win!

I love that show! I've only seen season one on Netflix, since I can only watch it late at night or early in the morning, with no kids around. I missed the marathon for that reason. Season one was pretty good, though.
That's me shooting down more mistletoe! Yeeehawww!

Time for the first nap of 2012....if this keeps up....it's gonna be a good year.
Well thank you! I don't think I'll try to go any further than this. But who knows? A couple years ago, I had no aspirations at all of becoming mayor. We'll see!
