Good Morning Everyone!!!!!!!! It is going to be freezing cold here today with a high of 24. At least the warm up starts tomorrow and we should be back up to 50 by Friday. I'm not sure what I'm going to do today. I'll probably make some cookies and just try to stay warm. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

As Snow-in-Texas mentioned, he has to return back to work today. Darn! We really enjoyed our 3 day weekend together. I am glad we get along well being together 24/7! The true test was this past fall when we went on a 2 and half week vacation together, being together 24/7 and had so much fun! That's the most time we have spent together like that since we got together 8 years ago. I guess that means we will do fine when we retire? That will be the real test!!! :lol: Now we don't walk around with "Brady Bunch" grins toward each other. We have a very sarcastic sense of humor when we are together but it's all in fun. We love to cut up!
Some of you mentioned wanting spring to get here, I want winter first!!! This week will be spring like temperatures and should reach up to 70 degrees in a few days. It will get cold again before it's all over so all is good! Send your snow this way!!!

You should start a thread in the Health Forums on quitting smoking! It might help others as well! I am sure you will get some support there. Also about getting healthy, it's all in that forum as well. Come on over and join in!

Yep, it's back-to-work day around here, too. I don't really mind, though. The job can be hectic, but it's not nearly as stressful as it used to be. Besides, I have a habit of spending money if I'm not at work. This way, maybe I can save back a little money. Yeah, that's a good rationale!
It was 26° when I got to work this morning. Brrrr! That's pretty cold for southeast Georgia! I went out last night and started dripping pipes, and I cranked up the pool pump so it didn't freeze. I like it!

yes I know, dropping my daughter off yesterday so she could get back to school (Fanshawe) and between white outs and bad roads, we could only go at most 50km all the way home. Funny thing is, got to my other daughters place across town from us and the sun was out! Those lake streamers are so much fun.

Wow the last couple days flew by! Took down the outside lights and decorations yesterday morning (wanted to get that done before bad weather set in) The only decorations I have up still are the Christmas tree and my Christmas village and the decorations in the living room, going to enjoy them for another couple days before I take them down. I also watched a lot of football and hockey yesterday, I'm not a Flyers or Rangers fan, but the Winter Classic was a very good game and Philadelphia did a great job hosting the Classic this year.
Well, I thought I would keep up with the countdown thread this year but I'm already about 30 pages behind .... :cheesy:

It was nice to sit on the couch, watch some TV, and see the snow falling by the street light. I would like the snow a lot more if my dad didn't have to drive in it all day long and if my brother was still off from work this week. Too much worrying!
Stay safe with all of the snow! Hope you are stocked up in case you'd get stuck inside. I also hope that your headache has passed. The candy cane tea sounds perfect, I had some hot chocolate with a candy cane in it a few nights ago and it was delicious!

Well, I woke up bright and early this morning to call and try to schedule some online classes for the upcoming semester (which starts next Monday!) -- unfortunately, it didn't go well at all. I had a list of each and every class that I could take (a total of 25) and everything but two classes were full. I ended up scheduling two electives, which I was hoping to take my last semester. I wanted to get my business core classes out of the way, but everything was completely filled. I was hoping to get into Statistics because there were 6 available classes for it, but every single one was full! Now I am wait-listed with only a few days left until college starts back up, so I hope something opens up for me. What a hectic morning! Fortunately, I was able to get a lot of cleaning/organizing done, so I feel like my morning was somewhat productive. This was the earliest I have been up in weeks, so it is nice to not sleep in for a change. I am going to hang out with my mom all day since the roads are kind of bad, I don't want to risk going anywhere with my car since it isn't great in the snow. Hope you all have a wonderful day, I will be back later this afternoon!

We actually had a snow squall, which brought down about 2 inches, then we woke about to about 1 or 2 more I would say. DH said he thinks he will have to go out and shovel the drive way in a little bit. I think that is the kind of snow he hates - the kinds that there isn't enough, so he has to shovel, instead of using the snow blower on the driveway!
Thanks...all the calls I got were for schools that are about an hour away with no traffic and are places I have never been to before. (Trenton, Mount Holly, or places in Salem county). I live right in the middle of Gloucester county so i didnt want to risk being late to a job.
