Brrrrrr....baby, it's cold outside!

We are about to have a big ol' bowl of chili to warm up! Then, I'm going to drink coffee and we are going to watch some TV and I'm going to read some of a book.

Sounds like a heck of a night. I'll be back later to catch up!

oh guys, the post christmas blues have hit hard this evening! i'm looking around my living room and it looks so bare, everything has returned to normal and that special cheer that people have in the run up to christmas seems to have gone.

what would i do without this site??? :-?

i think i'll have to keep watching christmas movies this month.

Made must have put in a good word about my dish washing skills because Carl has me washing them. He was washing them this whole time up until today. I told him we don't spit on the dishes to clean them though!!! To think we have been drinking coffee and tea here this whole time.

oh guys, the post Christmas blues have hit hard this evening! I'm looking around my living room and it looks so bare, everything has returned to normal and that special cheer that people have in the run up to Christmas seems to have gone.

I was just doing the same thing, looking at my bare living room that is. I am actually glad to see it all cleaned up...and the shelves dusted now. Fresh flowers on the fireplace, it is looking good.
But, what exactly is normal? My room looks different all the time depending on what time of the year it is. I want to paint it, maybe Christmas red? nah, better not, that will not go with any of the furniture.
Any way, I got off track there, what I am meaning to say is, it is OK, seasons change and then they come back again. Rejoice in the season and look for the bright spots in the next!

Well, I think I am going to head out for the evening. I am going to go read and spend some time with the kids before they head to bed.

I work at 11, so I should try to rest here too, but I am not too tired. I guess I will see where the next two hours take me.

yep, he was the one who talked me into trying it!

Did you know there is a cave under the waterfall? You can go wading through a couple of tunnels, there is a jacuzzi in there.
