Good morning! I am a sub in my favorite special ed preschool class today. Very excited because I love going to that class. The kids are so awesome

Tgif.....woooohooooo! My daughter & i have this li'l tradition i guess you'd call it, on fridays a local radio station plays "finally friday" by george jones. Yes, i know very old song! When we hear it we turn it up & beebop all the way to her school! Fun, lol.
Forgot to mention last night, a coworker/friend made me an elvis christmas cd, she even printed a jacket cover for it. She gave me & another girl one. I was so excited i played it @ work. Haven't had that one for years. Super excited about that, wasn't that thoughtful?

TGIF everyone....There baaaack! it took me an extra time to get to work because the college kids in this town are back for spring semester I guess it starts on Monday from winter break...they (usually)drive horrible and slow and everyone of thier car tags reads Fulton,Gwinette,Cobb,Hall counties...which is the rich kids from ATL..but they drive horrible. Other than that today is going good so far.Have a good AM everyone!!!

Good morning everyone I need to catch up with the thread ****YAWN & STRETCH*** Ahhhhhh, it is a BEAUTIFUL sunny morning here in NYC!!!! The sun is peaking up over the buildings and glitters like crystals. People are coming and going off to work, school, and/or errands. I love to "people watch".

I also heard some AWESOME news on the radio..... Jason Alden will be coming to the IZOD center here in NJ, OMG!!! I just love his style of music and his voice, he isn't too shady to look at either!!! ******WHAT***** I have eyes!!! Nah, he is good looking in that famous sort of way!!!

Long day, glad I am home again.
We watched the movie "War Horse" this afternoon before we came home.

Do movie theaters where you live also charge an arm and a leg for popcorn and a drink?
I kid you not, to get 2 med bags of popcorn, 2 med drinks and some candy they charged $22.99!!!!!
So, I thought I would just get a drink....$4.99 for that. I did with out. I can buy 6 liters of pop for less than one cup of pop at the theater.

It's crazy. The local theater we go to sells a plastic "bucket" that you can bring back all year long and refill for $5. It's plenty for the four of us. Of course, a small coke is still $4 each. LOL

Their is a 2nd one in the case, it is hand wrtten on it says OUT TAKES FROM THE SHISPERING PINES 2011!!! Dare we watch it next Wednesday!!!

I agree completely i count the times scooby and sasha eat stuff on me. i left purse once when scooby was a pup and he ripped the purse and the money inside it which was about £100. i should have been so cross but i dont no why i was,nt. it was ok as i was able to kinda get some of the notes together again and i took then to the bank and explained what happen. never will forget the look on there faces. think they thought i had lost my marbles... one of then said to me. o do you not keep your dog out at night..as if ??

I have also been in Doubt. That is a sad place to go, and I try not to visit there too often.
I've been in Flexible, but only when it was very important to stand firm.

Sometimes I'm in Capable, and I go there more often as I'm getting older.
One of my favourite places to be is in Suspense! It really gets the adrenalin flowing and pumps up the old heart! At my age I need all the stimuli I can get!

I may have been in Continent, and I don't remember what country I was in. It's an age thing.

Today is one of the many National Mental Health Days throughout the year. You can do your bit by remembering to send an e-mail to at least one unstable person. My job is done!


Life is too short for negative drama & petty things. So laugh insanely, love truly and forgive quickly!

Tomorrow is a special day for my husband and I, it's our seriously dating anniversary, not to be confused with our Wedding Anniversary that comes around in October. I put together a special photo display with an inscription that reads "All because two people fell in love" and I made the card myself with two of my own photos.
He's going to be so surprised.

Hi everyone! Hope you're all having a great evening! We went out to eat at Longhorn this evening. It was very good. We took my sister out to eat with us as well. She is flying out to Las Vegas on Saturday for 4 days for a confernce. She teaches cosmetology at a school here in my city. She wanted to spend some time with my kids before she went out there. We had a nice time.

I plan on watching Grey's Anatomy here with DH at 9, then I have to go get ready for work at 10. I am off this weekend...yah! I don't go back until 11p Sunday night.

Nothing new to report here. I hope you all enjoy the rest of your night.

It's my 2 year anniversary with MMC today!!! One of the best places I have ever found!

One last thing...I have not mentioned this yet because I have tried so many times to stop smoking before and never lasted longer than 4 days...but anywho...I quit on december 5th and I have made it a month!!! I never smoked a day in my life until I hit 30 then It was just at work,but before I knew I was up to a pack a day the last few years and i knew I had to quit before the baby comes,not that i smoked in the house I always without fail went outside to the patio! i hate cig smoke.I thought after a month it would be easier but I guess old habits die hard!!??

His head feels pretty tender where the train doors clipped him, but no double vision or anything like that. He just took it easy today and is going back to work tomorrow.

Re those cameras that shoot your license plate when you speed or go through a red light: I once got a citation from the state of New York assessing me a fine for going through a toll booth without paying. Only problem is, I've never driven in the state of New York in my life! I phoned the number in the letter and essentially was treated as guilty until proven innocent. Eventually they discovered that the car in their photo was a completely different make, model, and year from the one actually registered to my license number. Someone had misread the plate. I'll never forget how they treated me before it was straightened out. Did I get an apology? No way.

Good night, everyone ... the first Friday of the year will soon be here! I'll have a busy weekend undressing the Christmas trees and packing away decorations.

PS - Our speed detector only displays your speed. We just wanted folks to recognize how fast they are driving in an area with small children around.

My wife got a ticket for running a red light in Savannah not long ago. They sent a picture of the car in the middle of the intersection under a red light, then a zoom of the license. LOL No arguing that! I didn't get upset, though. When you spend most of your time in a small town, traffic in a bigger city can be disorienting. You're waiting for your chance to turn, then the light turns red and you're still under the light because the other folks aren't courteous enough to let you through.

My son is in college and always got so nervous about doing those but ended up making an A. He just never thought he could do it though. I am sure you will do fantastic!

Seawaters, it's funny that you don't have a Cracker Barrel. When Wayne and I traveled from Texas all the way up to New York we saw so many Cracker Barrels. I think I saw more of them than I did McDonalds! It really surprised me! I then assumed they were all over the United States. I just love their gift store!

Christmasstar, movie theaters are outrageous! I just don't enjoy going to them anymore, so expensive! Everything comes out on DVD and Bluray so fast that we just wait for that. On occasion we take the grandchildren to see a 3D movie but that's about it.

iliam, I live in Texas and even though most of our winter is mild, it's not quite this mild. We will be in the 70's today. It will get cold again before March rolls around but it is strange for us to be this warm right now.

Sugar, Made is suppose to come to my house too and help clean! Just make sure he is not too tired before he gets here. I have a lot of work for him to do! cheesy
