Anybody else try those new spice-flavored, camel-shaped cookies of Carl's? They go perfectly with his new chai-coffee blend. What won't he think of next?

So you could say were all Pine nuts..

Oww ... well, somebody had to say it!

I am going to say good night now, I haven't had a good day with my foot, the pain is worse it has spread from my heel to the center of my foot. I will take it easy the rest of the night. I have my big dr appt Friday, I am very nervous about it now.

Have a good night!

Hoping that ol' foot gets better soon and that you'll have some good news Friday.

You know, just reading all these message makes me feel like giving everyone a big hug for helping to give my day a pleasant wind-up. Thank you, everyone.:nice:

Oooo! They are showing the Vitamix on QVC and making yummy stuff. I have a Vitamix but haven't used it in a few months. Time to dust it off! I used it everyday this past summer. It does make delish smoothies and juices!

It has been a long time since I've posted...I got through last Friday's posts and had to stop though...knowing with everything coming up in the next week I wouldn't be able to catch up. :(

Update: I have cancer in both breasts. First, I go for an MRI, then genetic testing of the tumors to see if they are "related" (NOT good) or independent. After that, surgery and radiation implants and finally chemo. My doctor is VERY confident. He told me, "I don't want to brag, but I am VERY good at my job and my cure rate is 5% better than the national average. He also said he thinks I will die of old age and NOT cancer!!! No wonder I have felt so calm!!! I appreciate ALL your kind thoughts, and your prayers have been WONDERFUL!!! Trust me!!! I told my daughter, but I won't tell my sons yet. Don't stop praying or sending positive thoughts!!!

Seawaters, I am thinking of you every day! I know this is an old post and you seem to be in great spirits, but I just wanted to let you know that I'm behind you 100%. **hugs**

I honestly do not know how you and VCSU do it!!! I was so lucky that I had scholarships and grants that I did not have to work. You guys are phenomenal!!! I don't think I could have done it and majored in English/Secondary Education, too!!!

Yeah, I don't know how I did it, either. Honestly I just can't wait until I have one FULL TIME job and don't have to worry about having to have two jobs. I only have the one job now since I quit Hallmark, but I am still looking. Sigh.

I have been to Disneyland twice and Disney World twice. The first time I went to Disney World Epcot was there. My son was a baby and I was able to take him on just about every ride! (no roller coaster, of course!). The 2nd time we went to Disney World we also visited Universal Studios which was a lot of fun!

The one thing I like about Disneyland better is the weather is great in the summer compared to Disney World in Florida during that time.

I looooove Disney World and Universal and DF and I are considering going back as soon as we can. We thought about doing that for our honeymoon but we might just save it for another vacation in another year.

Made (or anyone else), you watching American Idol tonight?

CAH- Phillip Phillips all the way!!!!!! I still like the brother and sister too.

I have been watching since last week and am glad they aren't showing a lot of the bad people during auditions! I LOVE Phillip Phillips - no one has beat him so far in my opinion! It bothers me and some of my co-workers that they seem to be letting a lot of not-really-that-great people through this year. In previous years they wouldn't have had a prayer, but this year the judges are all over them and it kinda confuses me. I'm guessing they'll be weeded out early on in Hollywood, but it just bugs us, I guess.

Coach- If the Colts hire Jim Tressel as their head coach I don't think I'll be able to support them anymore.

I hadn't heard this...is it seriously true?? I love the Colts and I love Peyton Manning, but I don't know if I can take this (and especially as a Penn State fan...you know how it is with us and OSU). I really really hope this doesn't happen. :(

Good morning,

It's quiet here now the kids are at school and preschool, my foot is resting, but I need to get out of here for a little while today, I am really going stir crazy, and all of you are probably sick of seeing me post so much the last few days. I am watching a new show called Heat Seekers, they go around to different cities looking for the spiciest foods possible, this episode they are in Las Vegas, now I just want to go there for the spiciness especially the restaurant called LBS. You ever been there Snowflake? I love spicy foods! I must figure out what to do today, unfortunately there is no movies out I want to see right now. Hmmm?

Enjoy your Day
yeah, I have suffered from cabin fever once or twice!
IRT is on right now on the history channel

I saw them demostrate it this morning and loved it. Then I looked at the price and decided that I could live without it. I don't even own a blender so maybe I'll just buy cheap one to start with.

Don't worry. It looks like we hired the Ravens defense coordinator today to be our next head coach. I don't know much about him so I don't know if it's a good choice or not. The media all seem to like it so I'm hoping they are right.

Okay Some one is in trouble!!!!!! I was wore out after babysitting my niece's this afternoon and fell asleep in one of the hammocks by the fire pit. when I woke up I discovered this-

I've been told it's just a temporary tattoo and that it should wear off after the super bowl is over.

Thanks so much!!! I keep saying over and over how special all of the posts about my "condition" are!!!

Good a.m. my mc family!!!! wake up, wipe the sleep from your eyes, & lastly for those w/ "hangovers" this morning from the pines, carl sent some aspirin to the medical unit for ya'll!
i enjoyed my afternoon off yesterday but they never seem to be long enough, hmm.
it was gorgeous here yesterday. the sun was shining & the temps had to be in the 60's. really nice. sadly today rain is suppose to come in & stick around through tomorrow. hey they say we need rain so i guess that ain't bad @ all.
hubby & i are working lots of hours right now. him more so than me as his days are longer than mine. we had a couple of things break & had to be replaced last fall, so we are focusing in on paying those things off. i just can't stand extra debt if i can help it. that was a redundent (spelling) statement. i don't think any one has debt if they can help it, duh!
anyhoo, off to the shop this a.m. boss is gone SKIING so all the yuck stuff falls on me till she gets back. ya'll have a great day & i'll see ya'll tonight!!:wiggy:

Welcome everyone! Its good old thursday again. Wow what a party at the pines! Carl was giving out free pine air fresheners! Always something good at the pines! My schedule has been changed. Thats why I havent been on for a while. But fear not I am here now heh! Not much new with us. The neighbor across the street still has his Christmas lights on. William notices them every time and lets me know. We had a light dusting of snow last night. Its not going to stick around because it will be changing to rain this afternoon. Boo urns for rain. Its been a mild winter here but I still want a big snow storm. Well I better get going to work now lol. Work always gets in the way eh? Hope everyone is doing well and feeling well. Prayers to all!

Good Morning, My Downhill-Slope-To-The-Weekend Friends!

Yes, the summit of the week has been crested, capped by another fantastic visit to the old S.P.
And now we are coasting on down to the final weekend of January 2012.

My, My, My! The time is fast slipping away.

And to emphasize that point, I submit the following for your approval:
Days to the Season: 292
Days to Christmas Day: 334
Under 2 1/2 weeks now to the one quarter Season marker!

A bit warmer this morning than yesterday, where we currently stand at 44 degrees here in the capital city, bound for the 60's again by this afternoon.
Still dry, too.

Noticed a handful of houses on my morning dog walk still have their Christmas Wreaths.
Fun trying to guess which will be the last one!

Have a Thrilling Thursday, Everybody.
Weekend Eve again tomorrow, you know!

It was a splurge for sure and not something I can afford all the time, just had a little extra money when we got it. I seriously hesitated when I thought about getting it but Wayne insisted I go for it. With that kind of money I am glad it is a sturdy machine. I love to make fresh veggie/fruit juice and this is the only blender that can just downright pulverize the whole vegetable and fruit into a juice and WOW, it makes awesome smoothies and ice cream and I can make healthy versions of them! I had bought a Jack LaLane Juicer at one time but it threw half the dang veggie/fruit out and left very little juice. They demonstrated a lot more stuff it can do that I haven't tried yet. I am like you, however, if I feel I am not going to get my moneys worth, it's just not worth investing into it. I have used it a lot, everyday during the warm weather and plan to drag it out again soon! Maybe today! =)

Good Morning all! It will be a busy day for me so not sure when I will check back on here.

Made, how did the burning of the jersey go? I went after marshmallows to cook over the "jersey fire" and just didn't make it back in time! =)

Good morning, MMC!

I have my very first exam of the semester this morning in Statistics. I am a little anxious about it, I hope I do well!

They just opened a new grocery store that is located 5 minutes away from my house. After I get home, my mom and I are going to go and see what it is like. The prices are supposed to be awesome. It'd be so much nicer to be able to shop close to home compared to driving 20 minutes to get to Walmart.

My dad is off from work today - oy vey. I am not a morning person at all - I am quite possibly the furthest thing from a morning person. The second I woke up at 8 AM, he strolled into the living room, sat down next to me while I ate breakfast, and started chatting away. I can't even function in the morning let alone hold a conversation with someone. I swear I just grumbled back at him!

I hope you all have a wonderful Thursday. Almost time to be saying TGIF! I will be on later, hopefully to make up for my lack of activity lately!

Seeing all this talk about Vitamix made me think of something:
