First I want to say a big thank you to everyone for all the hugs, I am feeling much better this morning. Nothing has changed, just feeling better.

Snowing like crazy right now, ice rain warnings all around us.

Got the chocolate cooling and will start the cakes as soon as that is ready.

I was watching a show on TV in which a loved one died. Someone said it was OK to be sad. I feel that way about having to give up something I really loved. So even though I cannot stop crying over some show, I have a feeling it has nothing to do with the show. I know, not making any sense but that is OK too since I know what I mean. I will be OK, even though not much in my life seems OK right now.

Well the day started off good but then it went downhill. To make a long story short my mom got a new boss last year and he has been slowing forcing everyone that has been with the company longer then him out. Today it was my mom's turn. So now we are both unemployed. I guess I better stop being so picky and find a new job here soon.

I am so sorry to hear this, Made. I will keep you and your mom in my prayers!

Good Morning, My Cusp of the Weekend Comrades.

Yet another work week is about to end and the final weekend of January 2012 is about to begin.
We are moving along so fast through the rolling year!

As this indicates:
Days to the Season: 291
Days to Christmas Day: 333
The day after tomorrow, Folks -- two weeks to the 25 percent Season Milestone!

Hard rain here this morning but no severe weather predicted.
We are supposed to have dry conditions by the afternoon with the high temp well into the 60's.
Absolutely beautiful for January! Would that every winter could be so mild as this one.
(If this is global warming, I'm all for it!)

Good news, not so good news: My tumors are NOT related!!! Yeah!!! My genetic "numbers" are in the low, middle range!!! This indicates it would be a GOOD IDEA to have chemo. Mastectomy is in my future. We will know more when the MRI results come back. I am smiling!!!

Surgery first, then chemo. But I am okay with the surgery>

As long as you're ok with everything, I'm happy for you. I'm still praying for a full and fast recovery!!

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

As Crown said, it's pretty overcast here on the southeast coast this morning, and it's even raining a little. But it's supposed to be sunny and 70° tomorrow, so YIPPEE! I have some plans for the deck tomorrow, so that'll be great!

We ate out last night because Nancy and I were stuck in a meeting that ran too long. There's a local sandwich shop that make the best reuben I've ever had. Nancy & the kids all got turkey. Boring! Toasted rye, pastrami, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and that spicy mustard...that's the ticket!

Now I'm thinking about lunch. I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Man, I'm so tired....I'm so behind....ballgame, late work on grants, paperwork, data, emails, oh my gosh!

I miss you guys! I havne't had time to do much of anything except work and I don't see it getting better for the next week. Going to be a weekend spent at the office....so I will catch up at some point. See ya later!

I can,t believe how fast time is going by, how many days until St. Patrick's day. Not too far now, I am so glad I still have MMC, it makes me feel good coming here, brings it closer. TGIF everyone!! this has been a long week for some reason...not much planned so far this weekend though. I think we are getting a sitter for tomorrow night and are going out for date night with dinner and a movie,and as far as I know we have not decided on what we are going to go see. Jordan is 3 weeks old today..and he is doing really well especially at night so far it's not at all like I thought it would be. I know there will be times in the future that we could be getting no sleep but so far it's been really great. I am trying to decide on whether to get another dog or not. I know when I go to the pound or animal shelter I will get one,,,but the problem I run into there is that I want to take all of them home..I wish I could...if I had the space I would run an animal shelter..I think I better wait and discuss it more with brandi though,although she always says it's up to me...clearly it's NOT(sometimeslol) Hope everyone has a great friday...I will try to catch up in here in a few minutes...I hope everyone who has been sick is getting better...still everyone at work is sick!!!

Gloria LOVES reuben sandwiches. When she was under contract at Universal, she'd get one for lunch at the commissary and split it with her sister, who was her stand-in.

Xmas....Yes xmas lbs is sooo good!! the last project iwas on was a vocational school about a mle down the road from there( red rock casno) and a few of us wood grab dinner there once in a while. they have excellent burges,fries. cheese curds. wimgs and shakes .You wood love there caliente burger!!!!!! very spicy

This same exact thing happened to another member recently that I was in contact with on facebook. It would work then not work. Really weird but she seems to have no trouble now. I am not sure what she ended up doing. I will try to find out.

Hey CM3! I've missed you, too! Thanks for keeping us in your thoughts. Harlowe is doing so much better. She just finished her antibiotics & wrapped up her appetite stimulants too. The little cutie actually gained some weight! They never could pinpoint the issue, but ruled out Addison's. Ny fingers are crossed that she continues to improve.
