Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

As Crown said, it's pretty overcast here on the southeast coast this morning, and it's even raining a little. But it's supposed to be sunny and 70° tomorrow, so YIPPEE! I have some plans for the deck tomorrow, so that'll be great!

We ate out last night because Nancy and I were stuck in a meeting that ran too long. There's a local sandwich shop that make the best reuben I've ever had. Nancy & the kids all got turkey. Boring! Toasted rye, pastrami, sauerkraut, swiss cheese and that spicy mustard...that's the ticket!

Now I'm thinking about lunch. I hope y'all have a great day!

Now that is a sandwich and right on Que.... LUNCH!!!!

Xmas....Yes xmas lbs is sooo good!! the last project iwas on was a vocational school about a mle down the road from there( red rock casno) and a few of us wood grab dinner there once in a while. they have excellent burges,fries. cheese curds. wimgs and shakes .You wood love there caliente burger!!!!!! very spicy

OH! That just burns me up! Your Mom is a better person than I am; I would have had a lawyer by now. When I got laid off from my job 20 years ago I was only 30, and was told by not one, but TWO prospective employers that I was 'too old'. WHAT??? And to this day, seeing anything of the same sort just plucks my last nerve. Tell your Mom I'm praying for her. And I hope she finds what I found when I lost my other job; A BETTER ONE! (With a much better boss, to boot!)

Good news, not so good news: My tumors are NOT related!!! Yeah!!! My genetic "numbers" are in the low, middle range!!! This indicates it would be a GOOD IDEA to have chemo. Mastectomy is in my future. We will know more when the MRI results come back. I am smiling!!!

We had a heck of night last night, my wife and I were up almost all night with my older boy JP, he was (if you have a weak stomach turn away) throwing up all night. He is home with me today, I am trying to get him take a nap now, it's been hours since his last issue. I am sooooooooo tired, and I have to drive to downtown Springfield for my Dr. appt this afternoon, in the rain on a Friday. My foot is hurting, so I will hopefully find out when I will be able to go back to work today. I can't hide my limp, so I can't lie about it, I wouldn't want to anyway though. cheesy I will probably try to take a nap at some point.

The weather isn't very nice in Ottawa. It was incredibly icey on my walk to the bus. It does not appear to have improved a whole lot either. It is looking like it may cool down a bit here. The outdoor rink that some friends and I are running this "winter" is currently closed. Tonight is my night to run it (for three hours). Hopefully it cools down a bit so that there are not any issues with the ice...

Be careful, and I hope it is cool, for your ice rink. We have a crazy day today. Yes in good ole' NY it is 61 degrees, yes you did not read that wrong, but I should mention yesterdays high was 42?!?!?! WHAT!?!?!?! Crazy, just crazy. That snow we got last Saturday, all gone!!!

I am beginning to think the nap isn't going to happen today I have to leave in an hour for the Dr. JP is up and now playing some video games, he hasn't been sick in over 9 hours yet he is still afraid to eat, can't say that I blame him. He has been drinking his fluids though. I am watching The Polar Express to pass the time. My eyelids are so heavy, thank goodness I have a ride to the Dr office in case I need the hard cast.

Have been busy this week had 2 pallets on wednesday and one today. the one today was easy. hoovers so was just a matter of taking one or 2 out the box and builting a few uprights

Have two new workers starting on monday one is a girl in the shop and the other is a polish fella which lives in my estate which i feel is gonna be hard to work with as i dont have the time to stand over him incase he does not no what to do maybe more the case of explainng to him as his english sounds pretty good but am not sure but nothing bets a try and he can learn from the other 2 workers
I take them on for 13 weeks from a goverment scheme called steps to work. but at the end of the time they never want to stay as they are better of on income support. as they get all paid for then including housing and medical.

Weather is not to bad some rain and cool somewhere round 8c
But is gives it to get colder next week
Hoping you all have a nice evening and will be jumping in and out the rest of the night

We adopted another furchild today!!! I don't know what to say....she was all alone in her cage as her sister had just been adopted.... She is just 8 weeks old ...part bloodhound and part golden retriever and her coat is black !!

She needed a mommy and daddy and both our hearts just broke at the thought of leaving her....so now she has a new family !!! I want to be the best mommy she could possibly have xo. I will post pics as soon as I have a moment ...wish me luck dear Christmas family!

Oh I almost forgot ....her name is Hermione !!!! xo

auntie m i went throught the same thing in december. Nothing could fix it, i had the repair guy come & he did fix some things in the computer but still wasn't able to even get on here. Finally it just started working again & boohoo it was after christmas!!!

I am so in need of a relaxing weekend, so I am trying to get all of my work for school done, and my actual work for my job. I have two classes today, and then I have to come home and do some assignments: two quizzes and then homework questions.

The weather here has been so crummy lately. I feel like every time I go to my Monday/Wednesday/Friday classes that it is either pouring down rain, massive wind gusts, snowing, or bitter cold. I have to park so far away on those days and I always stroll into class either frozen or drenched. Today, of course - we have 40 mph wind gusts and rain/snow together - what a lovely combo!

I think I am going to bake cupcakes tonight or tomorrow, I have been really feeling for them! My mom and I are making stuffed cabbage together tomorrow, one of my favorites!

Well, my Dr. appt went okay I guess, he wants me out of work for another 3 weeks, I have something called plantar fibromosa which is the partial tearing of the tendon/ligament, the doctor said the only real thing to help it is rest. I do have an appointment in 12 days to have it checked out again, I am hoping it will be better after that, because I have no vacation time left after next week. Arrrrggggggghhhhhhhh!
