Good evening, Christmas family. I met with the retirement person and I am ready to go!!! Tomorrow I have two doctors' appointments, so hopefully I will know more on my surgery and treatment. Today, I went into Barnes and Noble and bought the Tablet, which is charging even as we speak. I thought it would be good for me to use to watch movies and/or read when I have chemo. As soon as it charges, I will see what all it can do. I hope everyone has a great rest of the evening.

How did your appt. go?

This same brother is having total shoulder joint replacement surgery tomorrow. I sure hope that all goes very well for him!!! Many years of swinging a hammer has worn down his shoulder & it's time to fix it tomorrow! He is a private contractor so hopefully this surgery & rehab will have him back to work....they told him an 8 month recovery. YIKES!!!

Praying for a successful surgery and quick recovery for your brother. Keep us updated when you can!

Hermione is doing well with house training at times. She is almost 10 weeks old now and sometimes it seems like she really asks to go out and others it seems like she squats every hour on the hour !! Oh well.....She is more important than ANY material possession and I know she will get it eventually. She goes for a check up tomorrow with our regular vet. I want to make sure she is perfectly okay though if she were not, I could never return her.


Wish is doing well still also though he did have a bout of tummy trouble yesterday. It scared the bee-jeebers out of me !! I was afraid it signaled something more serious starting to occur with his health but he has returned to his baseline and seems fine.

Glad to hear Hermione is doing well and that Wish is doing well too.

I don't post much, but I wanted to let you all know that DH will be having his gallbladder taken out on Thursday. I know we all pray for/think of each other here, so I wanted to let you all know.

Good luck and praying for him! If it just done via lap and not open, he should only be in over night. My sister-in-law just had hers out recently and she got to go home the same day.

I had such a long day. Woke up, got ready, classes, grocery shopping, now I just got home a little bit ago and I have to study for a Statistics exam tomorrow. Then tomorrow I have to do 12 essays, Meteorology homework, a Meteorology lab, International Business homework, an International Business paper, and study for two exams next week. Blah!

I need a nice night at the Pines.

You are right, I usually do refer to him as my son, I guess I just wanted to be clear that I am not his biological father, although I couldn't be prouder of him if I was his actual father.

Just gettting in from work and my errands! About to go take a nap because I got up at 4am. The lawyer told me I will just be driving to the court house in Albany,ga but the judge will be in Atlanta,so we will be doing it via video prompter. I guess it don't matter to me,I just want to get it over with. I just wish I did not have to drive to Albany because it's 2 hours drive but it would be better than driving to Atlanta for sure!! Other than that nothing is going on here. I'm going to take a nap with my dog snowball and put Jordan on my stomach because he is acting ready for a nap too.lol good afternoon all!

Hehe I will try to remember to take some...I will fall flat on my face!!! that reminds me of our real estate agent that we bought our house from...she had just left her hubby of 30 years and was a housewife and had just graduated real estate school and got her lisense..she said if/when we were able to buy the house she was pushing on us she would be so happy she would do a cartwheel...living up to what she said after we signed the paperwork she attempted to do a cartwheel but she was on a downward slope and she fell and broke her arm in 3 places...me and Brandi rushed her to the ER and she still laughs about it when we run into her at in town...I will try not fall though!

So, O'Malley the cat doesn't care for my robe from the Smithsonian Institute. I'm lounging here and the wind is blowing and it feels colder than it really is so I tossed on a light robe and he started creeping towards me. I don't know if it's the dizzy patterns on it or if he was made because I tucked the belt at both ends into my pockets so he couldn't lunge for them.

I just don't understand him sometimes.
