Good morning from the crazy house!

The boys are in a rare mood today, JP got to go make a commercial last night with his Cub Scout troop at the Local access TV station, he an the other kids were so excited.
We will be heading to my in-laws to celebrate my sister in law's birthday.

Have a great day!

That is so cool that JP got to do that. The boys had every right to be excited!

Happy Birthday to your SIL! Hope you guys have a great day!

I love my new book!!! I am trying to be a good girl and save it to read when I have to have treatments. I know it will do so much along the road to recovery. Hmm. That sounds sort of alcoholishy, doesn't it??? LOL!!! Isn't it exciting getting gifts in the first place, but getting them after the fact is such a delightful surprise. It is sort of like finding a $20 bill that you didn't know you had. This is also funny to me because this past week, I found a gift that I had bought for Tiffany for Christmas!!! I had bought it last summer!!! I can hardly believe about your newest baby. I am glad our human kids don't grow quite that fast!!! Take care, CM3. Back pain is, well, such a pain!!!

Good evening, Christmas family !

Well, I for one am so glad it is Friday. My back is better but it was killing me tonight by the end of the evening. Thankfully I don't have to sit for eight hours typing tomorrow or Sunday. I think it is a flare up of sciatica.....I talk to folks all the time who think that being a transcriptionist is easy because all we do is sit there and type !! Wrong !! It is quite demanding, believe it or not !

You should all see Hermione !! She was 10 pounds when we adopted her.....now she is 19.8 !!! She is growing so fast and she is learning incredibly FAST !! She is not even three months old yet but is pretty well house trained already. My sister is supposed to visit tomorrow and is meeting Hermione for the first time. She is also bringing me some Christmas presents she forgot to give me !!! What a WONDERFUL sister and how lucky I am to have her as well as all of you !

I hope everyone has a wonderful and Christmassy weekend.

Big (((HUGS))) for all and of course, including, Harlowe, Ella, Snickers, Snowball, Penny, Pocket, Daisy, Chico, Gomez, Scooby, Sasha, and all furchildren and furless animal children too !! xo

Good Morning Christmas Friends!

Between being busy and sick I just haven't spent a lot of time on here but think about you all! I am getting better but not 100%. I am trying to get some energy but I will be just fine! =)

I hope you all have a wonderful Saturday!

We've been thinking about you too, CAH!! Hope you can get lots of rest and are back to feeling like yourself again soon. We miss you. =)

Good morning, MMC! Just sitting here and got caught up on the countdown.

DH called me last night after I already went to bed and told me he got called for overtime. He's now working 36 hours straight. I hope he's not too busy.

Nothing really new here. I've just been spending time with my family. We'll go to church tonight and out to eat.

I'm on another antibiotic for my ear too. Just when I thought it had helped, Thursday, the day I had finished it, my ear had really started hurting again and went to go get it looked at. They said it was sooo red and my infection was worse. Huh? Great. Hope this one works.

That's frustrating :( Hope it kicks in fast & you feel better soon!

Well, hope all of you have a great day! Ttyl!

How fun that must've been for them! Very cool! Have fun celebrating w/ your family today!
Have a great day!

Love your new avatar!!! All three of you look great!!!

Thank you, C!!
Btw, how's your weather in CA today? It's sunny & calm here right now, and is supposed to warm up to @ 65 today before another cold front comes in early next week. Just about perfect! =)

The weather here is overcast with the sun peeking out every once in a while. It starts out chilly in the mornings and warms up by the afternoon. Thursday was so cold, though, with the wind making it seem downright freezing. I had yard duty, too, and felt like I could hardly make it.

...
Thank you, C!!

Snowflake: thanks for thinking of me! I will hopefully be back to myself soon!

baking put on hold, looked in the oven and it really, really needed cleaning. This is one job I do not like doing, which is why it ends up so dirty I guess.

Can you come clean mine when your done with yours?

Is this an app that I would need to purchase? I just checked my Tablet and I didn't see TuneIn Radio. I really want to get WAAM so I can listen during treatments.

I had to buy it for my Android tablet.

Good afternoon!

It was snowing last night when I got home - so very pretty out then. I have done a lot of baking today - homemade Mexican pizza, two loaves of country buttermilk cinnamon swirl bread and a batch of sour cream cranberry squares. The squares need some tweaking done to the recipe as it is way too sweet for my taste. Now I have a pile of dishes to do, so I had best get some of them soaking.

Have a MERRY day!!!

I got it for the Kindle Fire ... now I don't remember whether it was free or something like $2.99. It's available for Android, but I can't speak for other formats. Certain stations are blocked because they are affiliated with other apps, but there's a lot of good programming available. It's cool to tune in to radio stations in other states---especially Hawaii!

Now you have piqued my curiosity. Tell us about it, if you can!!!

Nothing very exciting to tell! There's an international Laurel & Hardy appreciation society called Sons of the Desert (named after the lodge they belong to in the movie of the same name---see it, it's very funny!). The Sons hold an international convention in a different city every two years. In 1990 the convention was in Clearwater Beach, FL, and I attended and met Mr. At the time I lived in Maryland and he lived in Massachusetts. We hit it off, and after a few years of prolonged long-distance phone calls and a few interstate visits we figured it would be more practical (and cheaper) to just get married. So I moved to Massachusetts and we got married. We went back to Clearwater Beach for a honeymoon trip. There's a Sons convention this year about a two-hour drive away, so we're planning to attend. We haven't been to one since 1994. (In 1992 I won the trivia quiz trophy, and went on to beat a panel of two previous winners ... but I'm not as up on the trivia now as I was then. This year Mr. will be host of the trivia quiz.) They used to have guests who worked in L&H's films, but almost none are left now, and Stan's daughter Lois is too ill to travel East for this convention. But the conventions show lots of L&H movies and they host events and banquets based on the movies. Lots of fun!

Happy to say that the "hafta" stuff is done for the day, so I'm looking forward to kicking back and relaxing. There's a little more work from the office to be done tomorrow morning, but after that I should be free to enjoy the rest of the weekend. I might have a little cold starting---gotta get some tea and try to chase that off. Looks like next week might be a rough one, and I want to be ready for it.

Hope everyone gets some relaxation this weekend!

Went to the mall and bought "Elizabeth the Queen: Life of a Modern Monarch" by Sally Bedell Smith at Barnes and Noble. I got a healthy (for mall food, anyway) lunch at Subway! A grilled chicken salad with FF Italian dressing and it was only 320 calories total! (I also went to Victoria's Secret because they ALWAYS have sales!)

After my mall adventure I got home and saw that pictures I had printed out via Target had finally arrived. YAY!!

See, this past Christmas my sister, Melissa (Mel), bought me a great jewelry box. It can hang on the wall and at first glance it looks like a multipicture frame--a great way to hide my jewelry!! :???:

Anyway, for the longest time I didn't have enough pictures so last weekend I bought them and I finally got them today!! Took me a long time (over an hour) to work on this project but it was worth it. It looks sooo good and I can't wait to get it hung up (gonna wait till Mel gets here at the end of March) but at least I can put my jewelry back inside it. cheesy

watched the homegoing of Whitney on TV...it just makes me so sad...You see these people...be it Michael, Amy Winehouse or now Whitney....struggle so hard...and usually family and friends are trying to intervene...but it usually doesnt work...because You need to acknowledge that You have a problem and You need to want to really work on it. But when people are addicted they dont think straight...so You cant even blame them...because they dont know better...I am so sad that these people are declining and actually die in front of our eyes....I just wish there deaths would make a difference and that other performers and entertainers would learn from their mistakes...but I doubt it will happen.....since Mike, Amy and Whitney didnt learn from Jimi, Janis and many other celebrities that died of drugs of any kind......

r.i.p whitney...:(
