I got yelled at by my wife for having one of my Santa Claus' still out, I tried to explain why it was out, but she wanted to hear nothing of it.

Time to keep the peace and put it away, part of Christmas is peace after all!
Get it out again in September.

lol sorry dude but that is funny!!! I am sure this wine I have partaken in has enhanced it...I know it's usually not fun to be in the dog house believe it or not I have been there a few times myself! Just suck it up take your santa up as painful as it may be...or you may be paying for it(lets just say this) in not so fun ways the rest of the year!!! Just remember November 13 th will be here before you know it!!

This week is Ash Wednesday and the beginning of Lent. I think I know what I want to give up but I'm not 100% sure. Last year it was pasta and NEVER AGAIN will I do that!! I love it too much! cheesy

I don't do the whole Lent thing but I thought the whole point of it was to give up something important to you??!!!!!! It isn't suffering if you give up something you can take or leave...........!!

Wonderful day off! Temps around 60, abundant sunshine......just great. Was outside most of the day, except for the part when I took a nice mid-afternoon nap. Man, this was much needed. I can't wait for Spring Break!

Big week this week.....duty every night, so I might not be around until Saturday. Should be able to get in tomorrow, but then it gets touchy. We are about to eat some tenderloin I cooked today and then watch American Pickers or something, so I will see y'all later tonight.

FYI, I don't know why, but I went back and read the Darlene Love from the past two years today. Good times, good times!

I'm home! Here is how the appointment went: I got into the room to wait for the doctor and the nurse came in to take my blood pressure, pulse, etc. Then she looks at the lump and told me it was most likely a tooth abscess. I asked her what would happen if that is what it was, and she replies, "If it bursts you'll swallow poison." Um, hello?! Who says that to someone? After she said that I panicked. Then the doctor came in and checked it and told me that it was simply a cyst. I have to go to the ENT doctor with my mom tomorrow to have it checked by him to confirm everything. He is either going to leave it alone or want to get rid of it - and I hope it's not the latter! Otherwise they'll have to cut underneath my jaw to get it out.

I'm glad that is done with because now I have peace of mind that it is nothing serious to worry about. Hopefully tomorrow he'll tell me just to leave it alone!

If it's a cyst, they often don't have to cut. They can numb you and drain it with a needle. It just collapses.

That nurse should be shot. It's not her place to be making diagnosed.

tonight we are going to a ball game over at the Valdosta state university baseball team...it's thier first game of the season and there should be alot of folks there. after the game we are going to Buffalo wild wings to eat.

Unloading the dishwasher-a lot like disco you reach down and then reach up as you are putting a dish away.

Wiping down the countertops- a lot like wax on wax off from Karate Kid, just horizontal instead of vertical.

Lets just say that if I were the type of person who drinks, I'd be having A LOT of margaritas right now. It was that bad at work and it was all due to someone at a state agency. OY!!! :x

This is true. I HAVE to have a Diet Pepsi when I eat pizza or popcorn. I am going to give soda up. This is usually something I do every year. I feel that is something I can do for what he did for us. It's not much, I know, but that is usually what I do.

I don't eat fish, so I will be eating a lot of pasta and cheese pizza the next few Fridays and this Ash Wend!
