Well...it's official. I am all caught up. I apologize for the many, many posts over the past couple of days. I wanted to reply where needed, as you all mean so much to me!

Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
It's been really busy here this morning, and it still is. It's so nice outside, I have have all three of my windows open with a breeze coming through my office...ahhh!
I did a little more work on my deck yesterday, and it's looking good. I tell you again, I'm loving this Daylight Savings Time!

Good afternoon, everyone! We're doing some spring cleaning in the office today, otherwise not much is going on. The weather is nice- 73 degrees and sunny- so I might sneak off early today.

Yesterday was quite the busy day. It seems like the past 48 hours have been even busier on here though. So many posts! I am currently being trained on something new at work, which kind of doesn't make a whole lot of sense considering I only have two more weeks after this one. I guess it is something else to put on my resume! No news on the employment front. I've sent out resumes and applied but I can't seem to get a response. I'll keep trying!
The weather in Ottawa is beautiful. Overcast and 8C. St. Patrick's Day may be the warmest on record. This Saturday, we are supposed to reach at least 17C with sunny skies and very little wind! Oddly enough, we have an indoor tournament that day. It should be fun. I'm sure it will lead to a nice celebration in the evening. Speaking of celebrations....
It's great to see everyone gathered once again at the 'Pines. Carl's green decor is easy on the eyes. I thought he outdid himself with Valentine's Day! Where does he get all these crazy ideas?!?
And tomorrow! One more day until we reach a major milestone! 1/3 to the Christmas Season. Wow wee! I have feeling these Milestones will come even faster once we reach this one.
I hope everyone is having a wonderful Wednesday. The weekend is now closer than ever before. We are, once again, descending down the hill towards quitting time on Friday!

Why, thank you for saying so! Yes, I will post a photo when it's finally finished. I made the same pattern some years ago (should have made better notes about those half-hex pieces then!) and it turned out nicely---gave it to one of my S-I-Ls for Christmas.
One drawback of crocheting afghans for enjoyment: After you've got a few in your house, and your family and friends all have one, it gets to be a challenge finding homes for new ones, and finding space to keep them until you do!

A little celebration for DH since we are in Amsterdam for the weekend.
I think he will bring with him his St Patrick hat to Amsterdam
(some Irish pubs celebrate St Patricks Day there too)
His Birtday is on Saturday, the 17th and some years ago we celebrated
his day in Dublin, Irland. Wow, that was fun - and green!
And every year since, he always put the hat on this day.

Good Pines Day morning, Christmas friends. It is windy, cold, and rainy here in northern California. I think it is already time for a nap, and it's not even noon here yet!!! I will try to get on later today. I go to Redding tomorrow morning and will (hopefully) get the stitches and staples out. I know I will feel lots better after that! The green speedos were a perfect choice for Made! Cute wig, too, Made! I almost got my fanny stuck by the tip of the green, white, and orange Irish flag. That crazy camel!!! He's giving them out to everyone!
not coming to the pines tonight, do not want to spread this cold around. do you suppose Carl would hop on the jet and bring me a nice hot lemon and honey tea and a fired twinkie as a night cap?
It was 85°F when I came back to work from lunch a half hour ago! :-D
