oh solice, i love it! he's really rock'in that hat!! how about free drinks for him being so festive on his b-day?Hello, beautiful Christmas Family! ♥
I have baked cakes and cookies today.
We are expecting guest this afternoon
A little celebration for DH since we are in Amsterdam for the weekend.
I think he will bring with him his St Patrick hat to Amsterdam
(some Irish pubs celebrate St Patricks Day there too)
His Birtday is on Saturday, the 17th and some years ago we celebrated
his day in Dublin, Irland. Wow, that was fun - and green!
And every year since, he always put the hat on this day.
Just for a while anyway cheesy
Here he is:

We were not alone in Dublin this day, as you can see here:

you got that right girl, i will miss him sooo much, i know he's gonna enjoy himself though.thank you for the safe travel prayers.Enjoy your half day! Sounds lovely!
Praying for safe travels for your husband. I am sure you will miss him and I understand what you mean, about him only be going for a week, but it will be hard for you. It would be hard for me, too. DH is my best friend and it would be terrible for me, too!
wow, super-d-duper busy!! remember to take a deep breath when needed!!Good morning,
Work will be calling in a little more than an hour, late night tonight. Our street is all ripped up for re-paving, so it will be fun to get out of here with the road all torn up. Trying to get some laundry done, we are so far behind right now, like I said it is run run run right now, I am a week and a half behind on mine, so blahh I hate laundry. This weekend will be another busy one, work Saturday, LC's 4th birthday party on Sunday, his actual birthday is the 20th, it feels like we have no time right now, the next few weekends from now until up past Easter are all "booked" solid.
This time of year is almost as busy as Christmastime for us.
Have a good day!
i seriously think i've tried it ALL! dawg had mentioned a med the other day i'm gonna try too. it's gotten to where between my sinus' & migraines...it's harder to tell the difference between them.I feel so bad for you. I have been running sort of into the same situation too. I used to take Allerga D, then stopped taking it when I got pregnant and never started it back up 8 months ago. I should because I have everyday allergies. Mine are going crazy right now, too. You can get OTC now at the pharmacy, so I just need to go get it. It really works well. Hope you can find something to work for you.
don't laugh...but as i was reading this i imagined it being read @ warp speed, kind'a like alvin & the chipmunks on fast forward. dude honestly, how much coffee do you consume a day? you stay so busy & seem to take it all in stride. good for you!!mr. mayor!!Good Wednesday morning, my Christmas friends!
It's been really busy here this morning, and it still is. It's so nice outside, I have have all three of my windows open with a breeze coming through my office...ahhh!
I did a little more work on my deck yesterday, and it's looking good. I tell you again, I'm loving this Daylight Savings Time!
I hope y'all have a great day!
oh no merrycarey, don't you ever wonder about homes for those gorgeous afghans, i've seen your pics of some before & they look so much like the ones my late precious grandma used to make all the time. girl you can drop'em @ my door anytime!!!! you are so talented!!Why, thank you for saying so! Yes, I will post a photo when it's finally finished. I made the same pattern some years ago (should have made better notes about those half-hex pieces then!) and it turned out nicely---gave it to one of my S-I-Ls for Christmas.
One drawback of crocheting afghans for enjoyment: After you've got a few in your house, and your family and friends all have one, it gets to be a challenge finding homes for new ones, and finding space to keep them until you do!
