Christmas Countdown - 2012

Good night everyone!! we decided to run down the street to get Mcd's for supper...I know it's a terrible choice....but we got the chicken nugget meal with fries and coke. We are wiped out after a very long week at work. Brandi' has been working in the house re aggangin things and taking care of Jordan plus the little one the way. we are just going to put in DVD tonight and go to sleep!!

My pear trees are blooming and are very pretty,I can't help but think about the blossoms turning into green leaves that will withstand the summer sun and heat,then at the end of summer in October the leaves slowly turning orange and yellow,I love to think about it like that. It will be fall in no time at all,then our beloved Holiday season will be here once again!! just around 250 days now!! well I am about to go take a shower and eat then watch some tv. Have a good night Christmas buddies!!!

It's nice of you to stop by. How are those 2 boys of yours? Valerie Par Hill should have the Todays special value on wednesday the 28th over on QVC.
 
Well they sent my niece home again and told my sister to give her dramamine. They are also going to take her off of one of her meds. They don't think thats what causing it but it is possible. Finally they are trying to get her into a ENT next week because now they think it's more of an inner ear problem.
 
The wifey and I went out to eat tonight...just the two of us. We went to one of our ol' favs....it was nice just to be able to spend time together. I left my cell phone at home and it was dead when we came back.....I'm not charging it, either. Tomorrow morning, I'm gonna sit on my deck, drink coffee...and just be.

Then on Sunday, I head down CAH And SIT's way and spend a few days on a work trip.
 
i wasn´t online for about a week......sorry....dont even know why...i hardly used the internet at all....but i am back again...hope all is fine with you guys

thats good made. i have inner eye sometimes. a real pain you wood swear you are drunk !! they can give tablets for it but a lot of the time it leaves on its own. read up about it on the internet..
there is another thing called vertigo which can cause the same effects which caomes from inner ear. o think that is what is wrong with me at the moment. its really hateful.

Just finished watching the Santa Claus.....been doing the house while doing that for the evening, when some guests will come over for coffee and cake..............I just started crying a little.....my daughter Kandice, who turned six years last week, came to me to say Happy Birthday and asked me, if I also wish great-grandpa (my grandpa) to be here with us again......she is such a smart and sensitive little girl....she seems to fully understand what it means that he has died....she knows he will never come back...but she knows that he keeps watching us and that we will meet again.....hopefully a long time from now...until then we just keep him in our hearts and remember him fondly.....Gramps I love ya
 
Happy St Patty's Day! I use to laothe this day as a kid because I would somehow always forget the green and after about 10 people pinched me I would loose it and give some kid a black eye when he decided to pinch me. When I got older and in college I went to college close to Savannah,Ga where they have a huge celebration every year complete with parade and dying the Savannah River Green. I was only able to attend one year because it seems final exams always fell on the week of st patty's day...but nonetheless it was fun the one year I was able to attend. I have a heachache just thinking about the "fun" we had!!! Anyhow it's cool this morning I went out with the dogs and it's just seasonalably cool like 55F...10 day forecast calls for highs the next 3 days of 88F 18 degrees above normal!!!! today there is a 50% chance of thunderstorms. then after monday a tiny cool front will come through and bring high in the upper 70's and lows in the 50's again....so the wierd weather continues into spring. I just hope we have a normal fall and winter next year. okay everyone has a great and fun and safe st patty's weekend!!!!!

I'm not going anywhere near River St. today! St. Patty's Day? On a Saturday!?!? It's going to be packed and crazy!

Our band used to play on River St. for St. Patrick's Day, but this year they cut out live music to save money. LOL Oh, well.
 
Hi!!!!!!!!! Happy St. Patty's Day!! My 4 times great-grandfather was from Ireland so I can brag a tiny bit of having Irish ancestory in me.

Like gabulldawg said, it's been hot as blazes!! I hate it!!! If this is mid-March, I'm afraid for summer!! :oops: <---not embarrassed, ANGRY!!!



Anyhoo, I'm thinking about purchasing a Kindle or Nook. Does anyone have either? Thoughts? If I bought a Kindle, would I be able to purchase nook books and still read them?

The reason why I'm asking that last question specifically is because nook books are cheaper on Barnes & Noble than Amazon's Kindle books. Hmmm.....
