I saw an ad for a "jacket" for pets who have anxiety. It is akin to giving him/her a hug and is called Thundershirt. Not sure if it would work for your furbaby or not. If you decide to give it a try, let us know how it works. It might be worth looking into, expecially for those who live in areas that have horrible thunderstorms and extreme weather.

Do they sell those for adults with anxiety? cheesy

Oldies.com just scored a ton of vintage vinyl! From the wepage:

We recently discovered a HUGE stash of new never-played Vinyl LPs in a warehouse in Eastern Pennsylvania, product left-over from a long defunct record distributor.

We couldn't pass it up! This 92-pallet load took over four tractor-trailers to transport to our warehouse. What a find it was! Over 250,000 LPs, mostly from the 1970s to the 1990s, including many rare & hard-to-find titles we haven't seen in YEARS!

Funny I just got my catalog from them, I was thinking of ordering the Monkees movie "Head" from them. It is a really strange movie, but it is actually pretty good and funny in parts. I didn't notice the vinyl section though. I haven't (my parents had it) had a record player since the 80's.

Good evening,

Nyquil made me sleep like a baby last night, I felt pretty good all day today. LC had a great day today, they threw him a party at daycare and he made out like a bandit, they are all so nice there. We took him to BK for dinner, because that is what he wanted for his b-day dinner, he and JP had fun there.

I am having a very bad anxiety night, and I am out of my Rx, just have a few things on my mind bothering me and I feel so helpless when my anxiety acts up.

I finally got my new pair of glasses, it is amazing how much clearer they are than my old ones, which were 7 years old. The prescription is actually weaker than my old ones, my eyes improved.

Late shift tomorrow, then day off for my foot appt. on Thursday.

I know they make shirts like that for kids and I bet they make them for adults too. They wanted my sister to get one for my nephew to help with his anxiety.

Good morning, Christmas friends. It is gray and slightly chilly. Not much planned for today, but we have a meeting at the Elks Lodge this evening. I have to run out to Wal-Mart to pick up a book light. I have worn out the one I have now. I hope everyone has a great day. Keep those furbabies safe and cuddled. If I had to listen to ONE MORE person tonight who does not know how to speak English, I would have exploded !! Geez A Loo !! Radiology ran out about 5:30 and I was left with the attack of the killer goobers.

At least tomorrow is Wednesday.

CAH - I hope your little Chihuahua baby is okay !! I used to have a couple of furkids who were really scared of storms and believe it or not, one was a Doberman. They are really quite sweet and timid, not at all like the image people have given them.

Snowflake - How are you ?? and how is little Harlowe ?? I hope okay.

Made - Still praying for your little niece. That poor little baby. She has been through so much as well as your family xo

I got all my e-mail issues resolved this morning. I had all the server information to plug in, I just needed my password reset for my previous Outlook Express account. Once my ISP did that, it took me like 3 seconds to finish setting up my e-mail. I have done it before and I couldn't understand what I was putting in wrong. At least it is FIXED.

Wes saw his cardiologist today and everything looks really good. So far, so good ! xo

I hope everyone is doing okay. I am falling asleep trying to type this so I am going to say goodnight.

Got my catalog today too! I'm also signed up for Oldies.com email updates which is where I learned about the vinyl purchase.

I've picked out some dialogue and a tune from the Monkee's "Head" for the 2012 Summer Soundtrack...even found a very short Christmas reference to include on a future "Mistletoe Mix" for MCR!

Out of meetings at 2:00 to catch flight. Flight delayed two hours. Get on plane, something wrong with window, get off plane. What was supposed to be a one hour flight with a two hour drive turned into an 9 hour adventure.

I could have drove the trip and saved money and time.

Go figure.

Looking forward to some acupuncture.
I always feel better after 1-2 hours with needles all over my body.
But it hurts more each week to 'put them in'..
Especially on my hands... But it's worth it.

good morn'in ya'll!
my sis did pretty good in her surgery. the doc had to do a little more than anticipated. it took about 3 1/2 hours. poor thing had to stay in recovery until around 5:30pm though because they had no rooms. my b-i-l said there was 5 in recovery waiting on rooms yesterday afternoon. my sis actually called me herself last night. she said she had some pain but was ok. she wanted me to thank all ya'll for your prayers-they work!! the pain in her left leg was constant from the pinched nerve before & she said it was already gone!! thank God!! the doc ordered the nurses to have her "undone" from all the "stuff" by 6am this morning....i guess he's wanting her up & moving. i sure hope there's not alot of pain w/ that. again, thanks for all your prayers guys, she means the world to me!
i get off work @ 1pm today & my son is to get my daughter from school so i think i'm gonna cut the grass this afternoon. i'll have to find a mask in hubby's shop 1st because it's so dry out & pollen has the air a bit yellow/green!
hubby emailed me that the company he's @ is taking them out this evening. told them to bring cameras because they're gonna get to see some of the sights. happy for him as he really enjoys that stuff.

We continue to get the rain day after day. The paper shows little cloud and rain symbols for the entire forecast period right on to the weekend.
And with the warm temps, the grass is growing like it's April!
Currently, we have 62 degrees here in the capital city, again bound for the 70's by this afternoon.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be another hot one here in central Indy with a high around 85 degrees. I broke down last night and turned on my air conditioner and it looks like it will be back on tonight. I have to babysit today. My brother in law doesn't go in until noon so I got to sleep in at least. Tomorrow I have to be out there at 6am. I think my aunt is going to come by after she gets off of work and watch the kids until my BIL gets home. That way I can go to the Pines. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
