Good afternoon, (barely)

I stayed up and watched one heck of a Bruins game last night, they beat the Kings 4-2, Tim Thomas was in a zone! Not much to do today, it is my mother in laws b-day, so we may make a cake and bring it up to her. We will be celebrating it later on, in a week or 2.

Hope you all have a great day.

Happy :rudolph: Day!!!

Morning, Christmas loving friends! Hope this finds you enjoying this beautiful Sunday. For those of you with rain, I'm sorry. Here is perfect weather....I mean perfect! Not a cloud in sight, no breeze, 68....it's great (that rhymes)!

Once again, I'm hanging out on the deck with my dogs and watching birds. I don't know why I find it (watching birds) enjoyable, but there is just something about sitting and doing nothing. Kinda nice.

Don't know what today holds, but it's going to have a couple of hours of office work. Thinking I should head up there now and get it out of the way, but I'm going to wait. I may not go in at all and just get there early in the morning...that sounds like a plan. Either way, I will see you later on.

Brad, what's for breakfast?
I missed breakfast today! I'm starving!!

!!! Happy Third Rudolph Day 2012 !!!

Sunday, Sunday people. But, where is the sun? =]
...
Boy! The rain just won't quit.
(I've been thinking about starting a ark.)
At least it's nicely warm and none of the storms have been severe...

Okay, question here.

Does anyone know anything that a 24-25 year old guy might want for a birthday? My brother's birthday is in a week, he'll be turning 25. I have no clue what to buy for him! He's at that age where I'm completely stumped. I already bought him a shirt for work, but honestly, that's not something that anyone is going to be thrilled about. It was easier when we were younger and I could buy him toys or a video game, but now I'm clueless. My mom already got him some Pittsburgh Penguins stuff, so I don't want to do the same.

Anyone?

For my nephews who are 25 the way to their hearts is always through their stomachs they would kill for subway gift cards or any food place that they are into . If that doesn't work I also recommend the 24 year old girl!!!

To tell you the truth, at that age all I wanted was gift cards, especially to places like Best Buy, or Circuit City (rip) or a book store.

Oh! I have a small collection of Fourth of July postcards! But I never did any reasearch about them. Any sources of info that you recommend?

Sent from my Kindle Fire using Tapatalk

Fourth of July postcards are good collectibles - all vintage holiday ones are, esp. Halloween. I've only skimmed the surface of what there is to know about postcards - when I find a good source, I will get back to you cheesy

Okay I'm off to bed. I'm going to unplug my router overnight and hopefully that will reset my IP address.

I hope it works for you.

hey partypeople....it s sunday....the clock was set one hour forward...which means.....it´s springtime.....stores in the city are open this sunday...which is not normal here in germany....my town has two sundays the year when stores are open....and the city is packed then, cos of many special offers and stuff like this....plus there two fleas markets in town today...so we might go to one...holla

Hi track! That sounds like a wonderful Sunday you have planned, esp. the flea markets. They are so much fun!

And reading this just might drive you wild:
Days to the Season: 233
Days to Christmas Day: 275
TOMORROW -- MILESTONE DAY -- the 1/4 mark to Christmas!
Be there or be square.

Sunday morning, off to church in an hour.
hope you all have a great day!

I hope you have a great day, too, Christmasstar!

I love vintage Christmas postcards. I sometimes just search them on the internet to look at them.

I love them, too, esp. the Christmas ones and ones with cats!

The sun is here in Scotland!!!!!!!! It's glorious today!!! We're just back from a two hour walk with Jacob and Cracker. Their tongues were trailing on the way back and Cracker is in desperate need of a clip but we found a stream so they paddled around in that to cool down and had a good drink (we did too!!!)

Away to hang the sheets outside to dry so by tonight I'll have that wonderful "fresh" smell to go to sleep with

Might make some chocolate chip cookies as well - just to add to that wonderful smell!!!!

I love the scent of bedding dried outside. The scent of freshly baked chocolate chip cookies isn't bad, either

hey ya'll! wow i gotta say i really enjoyed the greasy skillet last night. hubby came home about 9:15p.m. so i wasn't around much after that. i will, however, be there next saturday & have hubby listening too!! thanks radiojond, your show is great!!!!!

hubby & my son have been catching up on all the NFL news. daughter filled him in on all her "drama", just kidding!

I'm so glad your hubby made it home safe - and with Belgium chocolate for you, what a sweetie he is! I'm glad you were listening to the GS, merry. It was an awesome show last night!

Good morning! I woke up singing Christmas carols, a great way to start the day I think!

In honor of it being the 25th I am going to watch a Christmas movie today and make a semi big dinner.

Hope you all have a great day.

Good afternoon, Caroline79! What fun to wake up singing Christmas carols - such a good start to your day!

Here it SMELLS delicious too, because I have baked chocolate cake!

Yummy!

Yesterday was fun. I bought a Roku (streaming video player) after Christmas because I have Amazon Prime and can watch some of their movies and videos for free. I got the bright idea of hooking it up to our video projector, and it worked! So we went downstairs and digitally rented some vintage movies from Amazon Video that we'd heard about but hadn't seen, and watched them on the movie screen, along with a couple episodes of Fry & Laurie. For about $7, we had a night out at the movies in our own home! We'll do that again sometime.

How cool! I hope to be able to do that sometime in the future, too. What movies did you watch?

Happy Rudolph Day!

:merry:

Good afternoon, MMC!

My March Baking Blitz is over and the kitchen is almost all cleaned up, too. Yay! Today I made orange cream cheese bread, chees(y) onion bread and for dessert, coffee cream brownies. Everything smells good, haven't tasted anything yet, though.

Have a most MERRY Rudolph Day!

Mec....sounds like You were a busy bee today.....im sure everything tastes as yummy as it smells

Great-sounding plans. What time is dinner? Who wants to meet up at Caroline's?
