my sweet baby girl fell down the bleachers @ cowboy church thursday night. her ankle is swollen & looks like a goose egg, bless her heart!

Hey everyone!

Just finally managed to get a minute to stop by and say hi to everyone. Wow, between school for me, the husband and the kids not to mention spring cleaning this week I just needed to take some time and sit for a minute! It was 82 degrees here today but I decided to go on Netflix and have a Christmas episode marathon of a couple of my favorite shows so the heat had no effect on me today. We'll see how well this works in July LOL. I hope all of you have a wonderfully blessed day and remember we're one day closer to Christmas!!

that is so sweet what you said about your dad. You such a great daughter. He's very lucky to have you.

as for your daughter, i would do things that she likes. I would pop in dvd's and that type of thing. Make her favorite meals. Does she like to read? You could go buy her a book or magazines of her favorite kind. Just some ideas. You will be surprised - she will be able to relate more to you than you think. You guys will have a lot of fun.

I THINK I SPENT TOO MUCH TIME OUTSIDE YESTERDAY, MY SINUS' ARE GIVING ME A FIT! WOKE UP @ 6AM W/ A SINUS HEADACHE....TOOK MEDS SO IT'S GONE NOW! THE SAD THING IS, I'LL BE RIGHT BACK OUT THERE TODAY. I LOVE WORKING IN MY YARD & I'VE STILL GOTTA A GOOD BIT TO DO. I CAN'T TAKE THE HEAT IN THE SUMMER SO NOW IS THE BEST TIME FOR ME, EVEN W/ THE SINUS ISSUES!

Hi all. Everyone talking about the winning mega millions, well I didn't get a single number on my ticket. Plus with all the tickets we had at work, we didn't even get close. I also heard the winner in Maryland just spent one dollar on his, just goes to show, it only takes one, LOL. Someone mentioned that MsChristmas lives in Maryland, but that ticket was bought in Baltimore County, she doesn't live anywhere near there, so I doubt it was her.

CAH mentioned that our son will forget his own birthday, well one year he didn't even realize it was Christmas day. I asked CAH, are you sure he is your son?cheesy

20 cm with snow. Again!
But, I guess it will all rain away the next days =)

We just finished dinner and I drove my DH to the airport.
Off to work. He will be back on Tuesday.

So what did you think?

I had fun listening to it.....I thought I saw the chat going on facebook, but I wasn't exactly sure how to join in. There wasn't a text box at the bottom of the page so you could enter any text. So, what do I do? How do I participate in the chat?

Today, I'm going to sit here and look at a few Christmas pages and just think about this Christmas. There is a garage sell down the street next weekend and the have a ton of Christmas stuff, so I'm going to see if there is anything I need and call ahead.

Made, Martinsville is today. We (heck, I am talking like we are in the car with Jr.) usually run pretty good there. Maybe today will be a good day. it hasn't been that bad this year. We seem to be running in the top a lot of time.

Here's to hoping everyone has a great day and great week. I am going to be outside most of the day, which usually means I crash at night when I come in. I should get to check back in, but if not, then have a great Monday!

hey ya'll! how's everyone doing? i'll be listening to the greasy skillet tonight....really looking forward to it. my 1st time was last week & i loved it so hubby & i are both gonna listen tonight!
went over to see my daddy this afternoon. helped him w/ a few things he needed done. he's not used to needing help but my mama is down @ my sister's helping her after her surgery. i love him so much i don't mind doing anything for him. i think my mama is getting a little homesick but she knows she needed more w/ my sister.
we are going down there on friday & my daddy is really looking forward to that!

Sorry to her that. guess at that age they are into music and what about any films that you and her could maybe watch together.
