Good afternoon, MMCers! Hope you're all having a great day. I just got back from the eye doctors and got new frames and contacts. I also learned that my eye doctors now do a hearing screen, which I thought was odd since they're "eye doctors", but I guess they have someone doing hearing screens, hearing aids, and the whole 9 yards there.
Well...I've been noticing trouble with my hearing for the past 2 years, but just never went to go get it checked. When I had the screening today - I failed it! I have to go back May 3 and get a further screening done and see what that says. I am hoping I pass it. I pray so! I guess only time will tell.
Nothing else is new here. I go back to work tonight. I am just spending time with the kids now and DH is outside doing some work.

my short easter vacation is over....gotta get back to work again tomorrow....doesnt matter tho....feelin alright to get goin again tomorrow

Aww...thanks, Snowflake! I appreciate that. That's what I thought too. I actually ruptured my eardrum when I was a kids and the doctor said I could lose some hearing over time, so if that's the case, it wouldn't be a suprise to me. I will see. I will keep you update - thanks again!

made, i hope you get relief from your allergies dude. i'm right there w/ you, i actually have a doc appt. tomorrow. think it's an infection. take extra C & try to find some local honey.

Talk about dumb criminals....on the news is a story about a drug dealer, selling drugs in front of the court house, to an undercover police officer!

today was a not so good day. we went to the dentist this a.m. we had never been to this 1, of course our insurance changed so we had no choice. oh my goodness.....really?
1st off the staff is running from 1 room to another, set up kinda like ER's w/ just the curtain separating patients, except there was a wall panel, didn't go to the ceiling only about 7 feet high. as they went from room to room they were discussing other patients right over you. ok, so hubby gets done...finally (boy he's gotta lot of work to be done, but that happens when you wait 10 years between appts) i get in the chair, the dentist herself is doing the cleaning & as soon as she starts, in walks the hygienist, the dentist drops what she doing & has the hyg. take over, only she didn't tell the hyg. where she stopped off, when asked the dentist said, "oh, i was all over" EXCUSE ME?!!! the hyg. finished up, the dentist is in & out answering questions i had asked the hygienist. told you-absolutely no privacy!!! anyhoo, it was awful! i was livid when we left!! this is a family of dentists & have been here forever. really good reputations, i don't know but i'm certainly not used to this treatment.
then i had an issue this afternoon w/ work. apparently i misunderstood. whatever!
my sinus' & my son's are acting up so much that we each have dr.s appts tomorrow. it's weird we both have it in our sinus' & ears. yuck! it'll be ok.
i'm sorry to rant & rave.
merrycarey i do want to let you know i'm praying for your father in law & your hubby.
made, i'm keeping your niece in my prayers too. the 17th right? that's when she's suppose to go to another neurologist?
i'm having a little something in my decaf tonight just to settle down from this day. i never do that but....i'll just keep smiling, whether it's true or a forced 1 i know it'll make me feel better!!

i forgot to mention, yesterday, April 9th, 20 years ago, the most precious little boy in my life came into the world. my son Seth!!!!

THINGS are not going so good for me....don't want to get into it because I would be here all night...I miss you guys...and I can't wait for the holidays to get here again! work is going pretty bad right now..I may be getting a transfer which is not all together a bad thing,it s just things are getting so complicated!!! ihope to be around more in the coming months..I hope everyone is doing well!
