Another overtime game, looks like this is going to be a hard fought series. Unfortunately I haven't been able to watch a game yet, because of my work schedule and I had a busy day yesterday with the golf tournament and then having to run errands after that, when I got home I was beat, we listened to the Greasy Skillet and went to bed.

That rookie goalie has been impressive thus far, another hard fought game, neither team is giving an inch, and the goals are gonna be of the ugly variety. My Bruins have done a good job bottling up Ovie also.

Congrats on the game 2 victory, tomorrow night will be a good game for sure.

Good Sunday morning all!!! As CAH said I played in our church best ball golf tournament yesterday, and MY TEAM WON!!!! I also got the prize for getting closest to the hole on one of the par 3s.:dance: It was a lot of fun, plus I get to know some of the members of the church a bit better.

For anyone not familiar with what a best ball or scramble tournament is I will explain it for you. You have 4 members on each team, each member hits the ball and you play whatever shot gives you the best chance to make par or better on each hole. We finished 4 under par with a score of 68. Something I could never even get close to playing by myself, :lol:

That stinks! I am going to throw something in the crockpot for dinner. Probably a soup. Make sure you relax at least a little! You deserve it!

Wayne just left for church. I slept in and still sitting here drinking coffee trying to wake up. Wayne will give me a recap of the sermon but I really wish I got up earlier to go. I don't like missing church. It's okay, I will go next week! =)

Wayne looked online this morning for some driving ranges to take me to. I never golfed before but I think it will be fun. Looking forward to it! I told him I thought it was a "guy thing" to hang out and why do they want the wifey there? Ha ha! I know women golf but you know what I mean. There are a few women that attend these tournaments. cheesy I am always glad when he can go. I had to talk him into going the first time he was invited. Anyway, I guess I have to practice because they told him they signed me up for next time.

Good Sunday morning, dear Christmas family

It is sunny and it is going to be warm here today (80 Degrees)

We have obedience class with Hermione later.....I hope she is not so scared as she was...

We haven't heard anything further on Ivy yet. Probably that will be later this evening around 6 - 6:30 when the doctor checks on her. I fear it is coming down to the "big decision"........I dont want that but if she cannot have a quality life again then it is time but we aren't there yet........Thank you all for your prayers. They are ALWAYS welcome.........Meanwhile, Wish is running around frisky like he is a puppy again....amazing.....Why do I love animals so much ?? Right now I wish I didn't in a way but then I wouldn't be me.....

I am praying for all those in the path of the recent horrible storms...My God....to have your home wiped out or lose someone in a tornado....that would be beyond horrible....xo

MerryMistletoe - I hope you will feel better soon....I am so sorry youare sick...

Morning, gang! Slept late today! It's been quite a long time since I slept until 9 am. Caninemom, I'm sorry about Ivy. I know the way we get attached to our animals and they become part of the family. But keep hope! Our dog that is sick...the vet gave him two months and that was October. He's still going strong and the vet said the other day that he looks really good considering his condition. Stay positive...

As for me and mine....work today at home and watch a little baseball on the tv. Later, I'm going to clean our windows and then cook some spaghetti. Going to be a good day. See y'all later!

She is doing okay. Her headache finally went away after 2 weeks. Now we are just hoping that the Neuro has some ideas on tuesday and that she gets a good report from the Rheumy on friday.

feeling better this morning, the energy I would like is still not there and still have a cough, but feeling more myself again.
Slept in until 9am, missed church (would not have gone anyway with this cough)

So now I am making breakfast for lunch since I missed breakfast I figured that would work!

Update on Ivy - I spoke to the doctor this morning. It is not good.

Ivy is anemic, her hemoglobin is half what it should be. However, her white cells are twice what they should be. There is a density in her chest that the doctor thinks may be lymphoma. She is still on oxygen and a host of medications. He told me the prognosis is not good. But they still don't know that it is definitely lypmoha........so that is where we are. I don't want her to suffer....if she is going to have to be on a dozen medications plus oxygen then that is not a life.......quality versus quantity.........

I will know more when I speak to her regular doctor on Monday but at this point it is looking like I know what is going to have to be done..............

never easy some choices we have to make. I remember as a kids having to say goodbye to our faithful friend.
Will pray you make the best choice.
