That's nice Nancy has the day off today. Hopefully she can enjoy it. Hopefully she'll forgive you, too, and you guys enjoy a nice lunch together!

Hello everybody - you have no idea how many times I have thought about all of you & my little Christmas home here in the last month, but it has been -not a good month. One month ago today my brother passed away. He was mountain biking on St. Patty's Day when he had a heart attack & died instantly. The autopsy report is not back yet, but my brother has been talking to the coroner (my bro is a retired cop so he has all the "inside" information) March 17th was a gorgeous day in Ohio. I was having the greatest day - I went for a long walk in the morning, then took the dog for a walk, then I went to the lake & went for my 1st bike ride of the season. I got home & I was hanging clothes on the line thinking how it was one of them days that it is just so perfect it seems like something bad is going to happen to shatter the bubble. It was kind of an eerie feeling looking back. About an hour later I got a phone call from an investigater who was with my brothers wife, telling me what had happened. :( Life changes in an instant, and it will never be the same. We miss him so much! :( I am so thankful for my big family so we can go through this together (though it stinks) & our wonderful friends & especially for nothing but wonderful memories of Mike. I honestly can not remember a bad memory of Mike. He was such a happy person, always making people smile & doing whatever he could do to make the world a better place. As his co-workers said "he made the sun shine brighter & our lives are better for having known him" And now my goal is to model my life by his - what an honor to be his sister!

Ok - sorry to be such a downer tonight. I wanted to let you know the reason I haven't been around. We really are doing alright coping, but it's one day at a time! Just keep smiling!

Now I am going to read some of your recent posts b/c I know you all will make me smile! :)

i just did a great big long post and when i went to post it, was redirected to another page....

in a nutshell, ivy is not doing well ....none of the treatments have worked.....if she is not improved tomorrow we are going to have to, well i don't even want to say it. It just hurts too much.

Good morning, Christmas friends and Happy Pines Day! Lots going on today, so I am going to do my morning post, then I have to head out. I will check to check in from my Iphone later on.

I am about to head out with my mom for are day of fun, then the circus is later tonight with EA and DH. I don't know how I forgot to mention before, but today is Ella's birthday. She is 6 today. When I talked to my DH this morning, he said that EA wanted to make her cupcakes. Lol...that is what they are currently doing.

I hope everyone has a great day and fun at the Pines. Since I won't get to check back in much, I just want to say that I am thinking about all of you, especially Cm3, Holiday, and still thinking about you, Seawaters. Keep smiling!

Talk to you all hopefully later on, if not, talk to you all tomorrow! Have a great day tomorrow for the start of your work day.

Thanks Be To God Above Ivy Has Been Given A Reprieve !!!!

The doctor said when he went in this morning he was very, very surprised to see her breathing more comfortably so they took her out of oxygen and she WAS STILL COMFORTABLE !!! We don't know for how long this will last, perhaps months, weeks or even just days but for now she is doing much better and SHE MAY COME HOME ON FRIDAY !!!

Thanks to all of you and your prayers and love ......You have really made a difference........xo

It is just going to depend on if the lymphoma continues to respond and behave itself......For now, there is a glimmer of hope and I am ecstatic xo

Woo hoo. Just wanted to share with all my friends here. A friend at work emailed me home something. Its our shift bid. Im NUMBER 6 out of 100. So Ill be getting my weekends back! *dances!*
