Christmas Countdown - 2012

CAH's uncle passed away suddenly this morning. This comes as a shock as it was totally unexpected, he had some health issues and was sick these past few days, but it didn't seem all that serious. In fact he was planning on going to the doctor today if he didn't feel any better. We appreciate any and all thoughts and prayers during this very difficult time. We used to go over his house every Christmas Eve which was always a good time, in fact I think he had his tree up before we did every year. I am sure this coming Christmas will be very difficult as well. Thanks.

I am so excited!!!

Kids company does a story every week with a different person telling it each time. Well, they up a decided that the best person to tell the Christmas story was me!

So in 2 weeks I get to have some fun with them!

That's awesome, and just how it should be!! Have fun, star!!!!

2 more days until the weekend! this has been an especially tough week for some reason,I think since I know I will be out of town this weekend,all to myself,and looking forward to it,it's making this work word just draaagg! I plan to get some fishing done,something I have not done in years. I hope to even clean and cook the fish myself saturday night. At my buddies house where I will be house sitting,he has a lake practically in his back yard ,his dock is connected to the back porch,I just hope I can relax and get my blood pressure down a few points! I'ts hard to believe it's already May almost! this year is flying by! I hope everyone is having a good humpday! I plan on taking my laptop this weekend,but I may leave all electronics in Georgia!!!goodnight !

My mom asked me if I'd like Christmas bedding for my room next year to use from Nov-Jan. I love having someone in my family who loves Christmas as much as I do!!!! I always see such pretty quilts in country catalogs and online so it'll be nice to pick something out! A little Christmas cheer goes a long way :]

I still wear my Christmas pajama pants! I have red and green polka dot ones, snowman ones, ones with a little animal wrapped in Christmas lights, ones with Christmas patchwork design, and ones with snowflakes! It keeps me in the spirit all winter long. I did wear a pair the other day and I stepped outside to grab the mail - one of my neighbors was staring at me like I was an alien. He recently moved in so I hope he won't be a scrooge! It's hard enough having neighbors across the street and next-door that refuse to hang lights when my family goes all out with our lights!

I did terrible on my final exam. My teacher put me in a computer lab and this girl kept talking and screaming so I couldn't even concentrate. The questions were tricky and each had two that could potentially be the right answer. I couldn't even focus with her shouting at people. The only good news is that he has to grade the essays on his own, so I might manage to get a D instead of failing. I have never done so poorly on a test! What an awful way to end the semester in that class. Happy Rudolph Day to me

Good afternoon, MMC friends and how are you all this fine afternoon? I am well, just a little of a headache. I didn't get enough sleep today...story of my life!

DS had his 9 month check up today. Doctor said he looked very healthy. We can stop formula (Yeahhhhh). That will save me so much money. He eats so much already though - so that may not...

Nothing new here. 2 more nights of work, then I am off the weekend. DH should be going back to work for his 4 days of work, but he is on vacation for his 4 days. It will be nice to be off together for change. Hopefully we can do something fun together with the kids this weekend.

Well, I am off to the Pines. I am headed out early to get a good spot by the pool. Is anyway else coming to join me? :hello:

Not too bad! I went to a Survivors Benefit last night and learned that the American Cancer Society might be able to help us with a gas card during my treatments. The treatment center is 78 miles away (one way) so the extra money would definitely help us!

If you can get it . take it you are entited to it. every little helps

Go for it. i have one a throw and 2 shams. i got it from america. it has this big tree on it and there was a set of small lights to that you put in the tree. never used them looks ok without them i put it on nov and take of jan wash it and put it away. wood love another one
And i still wear my christmas p.js. i dont care what the neibours think, they no the kind of me lol..
Am lucky that way though my neigbours dont go mad at christmas with lights they love to see mine going up. they are all for it .

We go to the funeral home today to help with the arrangements for CAH's uncle. I'm not sure if I am going to work today or not.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! It's going to be a nice day here in central Indy with a high near 66. My youngest niece is coming in to stay the night so I have to run to the grocery store this morning. She wouldn't be happy if she got here and there was no flavored water for her to drink. I was also thinking about getting some tomato plants but it looks like it might freeze tonight. So I'll put that off for another week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!
