Warmer to start here this morning at 62 degrees.
It should be dry and into the mid 70's for this afternoon, which would make today a near carbon copy of yesterday's beautiful Sunday.

Sad tonight ... Mr.'s father is doing poorly today. They had to change his medication (he's receiving palliative care for terminal cancer), and now he's not able to sleep and is restless all night. Mr. is going to spend the night there to take care of his dad give his poor mom a break. I'm sure neither of us will get much sleep tonight. I'm not ready for bed just yet. I might tune in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular on the Roku and watch a couple of production numbers before retiring. Monday is going to get here too soon.

Good Monday morning everyone!
I had one day off this weekend so I'm kind of tired today. My new shift has started. 8am-4:30pm with weekends off. Much better now. Anyone find any Christmas stuff/Fall Stuff in the stores yet? Kinda early but I'm getting the Christmas itch again. About this time of the year that it happens. I loaded Christmas with the Kranks and Home Alone 1 on my ipod touch to keep me busy on the down time at work haha. Well almost time to start. Hope everyone has a good Monday!

Good Monday morning everyone!

I intended to go out hunting for some toys for the kids for Christmas, but I had a busier than planned weekend, so I didn't get a chance. I've still been seeing things on clearance from last Christmas, which I love... such a fun surprise when you're out shopping! :wiggy:

Good Morning MMC!!!!! It looks like we have one big batch of rain headed our way this morning and then it should be nice the rest of the day. It's going to be hot though. We had a high of 50 on Saturday and today it's going to 80. Then it looks like 90 on Wednesday. I'm not ready for that yet. I need to do some cleaning today. I've been slacking the last couple of weeks and now everything needs a good scrubbing. I also need to dig up my garden bed behind my apartment. I think I'll be okay to go ahead and plant my tomato's this week. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I had a busy Saturday. After opening the store at 6am, I went to a funeral at 1pm, then came home to change for Elizabeth's dance recital at 5pm.

The recital audience was HUGE. The dance studio recently added gymnastics, and the recital included all of the gymnastics students...INDIVIDUALLY. It took almost a hour for the level 1 students to do their forward rolls. There were 4 levels.

I hate to complain, but the dancers don't have individual time; it's all group dancing. I just don't think it was necessary to make the audience sit from 5pm to 9:15pm to watch dancing and gymanstics. Maybe next year they will have separate shows.

I'll never push DD into anything, but I want to help her if I can! I see a lot of long, hot fall weekends at the football field for me this year. I won't complain because she's our one & only & she'll only be young for a while! DH & I can sit at home & look at each other after she's gone!

Yeah, "cheer-nastics" has become a big thing at the school. Those girls are worked as hard or harder than the football players. And they go to competitions, winning several state competitions. But they have more injuries than I ever remember girls having when I was in HS!

Cheering wasn't a "sport" when I was in school, but now it's tough. I really don't want DD to get into competitive cheering. I don't like competition & being pressured to perform, but DD would probably love it! My mom got DD a ponytail holder with our little league team colors on it so she can wear it this fall. DD is ready for fall cheering. I'm trying to get psyched up for it between now and then! I"m praying for no injuries for DD, since she is clumsy enough without having to do more than walk in a straight line...

Good morning mmc. hope all is good in your part of the world today
It is so cold over here today. i just got a pallet of stuff and i cant get myslef to go and get it sorted. its about 7c maybe its just me !!
My sister in law that got head buted on saturday night. she says she has a black eye and nose and sore head.she rung me yesterday going on with her self. she said she done nothing. but she forgets i was here when she pushed one of the girls. she only done that cause she knew we were standing. i dont no if she done any thing befour hand to get head buted but i was hold she did.. her facebook is full of poor me!!!! and she says her family and close friends will sort it.. well this side of the family is,nt .as my brother dos not like her and am ok with her but not getting into a row for her. and my brother ,her hubby knows whats she like.
She is really annoying me she making out she is so innocent and her a real devil...i tryed to tell her , but she near when down the phone at me !!
But a few of my mates yesterday says she doing this to make a claim..
thats it Rant over.. AM OK NOW LOL
I suppose i may get my act together and get this stuff sorted and into the shop
