I watched a Christmas mystery movie last night, called Shadow Island: The Last Christmas. I thought it was good! I love mysteries & Christmas, so it was right up my alley. It had beautiful winter & holiday scenery, was filmed in Canada. Breathtaking!!

A snowflake thanks for the offer of a heat photo but no good its the real think i need or a hot water bottle.
Your movie sounds nice.. i was awake at 5 and was flicking though the sky channels and i came across. a christmas special with jonny cash. they sung a lot of old christmas songs so that kept me enterained for a half hour lol

Luck does not come into it with her. its nerve tablets you need i wood give anyone a £100 to go out with her a night..and come back with a good report. shes like someone out of the exercist(spelling) she is the only person i no that can roll her eyes back so you can see the white. she scares the life out of one of my mates. they think she is gonna start throwing up green stuff...lol lol on sat night when i said she was gonna meet us there . 3 of my mates never spoke for 5 minutes.. i no they wanted to go home but they were all dressed up !!!! but what can i do? lol

Nice find!! Hubby loves Johhn Cash, I've never seen any of his Christmas specials. I bet it was cool! :smile:

Hey guys! Happy Monday! (Monday again...) I hope you all had a great weekend! Weather is awesome today but supposed to be some rain coming!

Merry - keeping you in my prayers.

Yesterday we planted a Linden tree in memory of my brother in our back yard. Our neighbors had given us a gift certificate to a nursery, so that is what we used it for. I hope it makes it. It looks so nice back there! We also planted 2 other tree's, a red oak & a red maple that I ordered from Arbor Day - they are a couple of twigs, so we'll see if they come around. It's a fun experiment!

I better get back to work.

Well they just bolted on the piece of steel that offically makes one world trade center the tallest building in new york. That got me to thinking. We haven't seen Lauriebear in awhile. I hope she is doing okay.

Funny you should mention her. I thought of her this morning and sent her an email, just to make sure all was ok with her. I haven't heard back yet.

I always want so many, but I am lucky if I get 1 a year. I have started putting them on my Christmas list, and my wife or Santa usually comes through for me. cheesy

We buy 4, one for the "house, one for each of the kids, and one for the ornament exchange. My parents get each of us one then too!

Sad tonight ... Mr.'s father is doing poorly today. They had to change his medication (he's receiving palliative care for terminal cancer), and now he's not able to sleep and is restless all night. Mr. is going to spend the night there to take care of his dad give his poor mom a break. I'm sure neither of us will get much sleep tonight. I'm not ready for bed just yet. I might tune in the Radio City Music Hall Christmas Spectacular on the Roku and watch a couple of production numbers before retiring. Monday is going to get here too soon.
