Yesterday we planted a Linden tree in memory of my brother in our back yard. Our neighbors had given us a gift certificate to a nursery, so that is what we used it for. I hope it makes it. It looks so nice back there! We also planted 2 other tree's, a red oak & a red maple that I ordered from Arbor Day - they are a couple of twigs, so we'll see if they come around. It's a fun experiment

That was a very nice thing to do to honor your brother. You can look at it now and always remember him. Hope you guys are doing well.

You didn't say anything about mixing all 5 brands together though, and the reaction that would take place.

This is true, especially for a man. I'm not into burgers, so I wouldn't like. I do eat hamburger, just not "burgers". I know it's weird, but I just like it backed together like that. DH thinks I'm weird, too.

I'm weird about chicken. I'll eat boneless skinless breasts but I won't touch it if it's still on the bone. I'll fix a whole turkey though and it doesn't bother me.

I did forget about that. You should be fine by morning. Just let me know if you get the rash from the chemicals, since you've been sniffing them. You wouldn't be able miss it.

Good afternoon, MMC! How are you all this fine Monday? I'm well. I just got home a little over an hour ago from the dentist - one of the places I hate the most. I went for my regular exam today. I have to go back on Thursday, so yes I have to get a filling...which I hate.

I made it almost 26 years and never had one and this will be my 2nd one in 6 months. I take super good care of my teeth, but he says this one isn't a cavity or anything, but he "just wants to fill it before it becomes a problem." Whatever...I still have to sit through all that pain. Hopefully it won't take too long and it will be over before I know it. Heck, my epidural for babies didn't take as long. That is much I hate the dentist and filling. I have had braces...the whole 9 yards. Okay...enough about that!

Nothing going on here this evening. Just work, like usual. Our shed/garage came today that we've been ancipating the arrival for, except they forget to put the shutters on. Hopefully they will bring them back pronto and get them on. Oh well...stuff happens I guess!

Well, I am off to get caught up on the rest of the posts! Talk to you guys all later! Have a great rest of your evening. Thinking about all of you and saying prayers for all of you who need them.

Yes, I was thinking about her too. I remember her saying that their new company was keeping her & her husband busy. Hope it's just that, and otherwise she's doing well!!

Yeah, "cheer-nastics" has become a big thing at the school. Those girls are worked as hard or harder than the football players. And they go to competitions, winning several state competitions. But they have more injuries than I ever remember girls having when I was in HS!

I love watching those competitions, so much energy and talent. But I will stick to doing cakes!
