I am going through the TV listings to see what is on tonight (nothing interesting) and I see
Channel 36: MMC countdown
I am right away thinking, cool, we made it to TV with our own show! (and no body told me!)
Then I discover it stands for "much music country"
how disappointing its that!?

Dinner was good, the kids did well with the babysitter, LC is so funny when we have a babysitter watching the boys, LC always puts himself to bed, he just gets up off the couch without saying anything, and climbs into his bed.

Good Saturday morning everyone!!! I got up at 330 to a screaming angry son!!! but he is okay now and back to sleep but I can't! so I am catching up here...I love this place it automatically lowers my high bloood pressure when I am logged on. Can yall believe it s basically summer now...schools around here are getting out next week,I think on weds...summer school at the high school starts the day after Memorial day on the 29th...brandi has already signed up to teach summer school because you really can rake in the $$$$ teaching summer school and then again some kids are the juvenile deliquints of society so you really should make $$$$ for putting up with that. during the reg school year she teaches Gifted which is a level higher than advanced kids...but she teaches Shakespearian stuff...and the kids are usually good although she has told me she has the rep for being a very hard teacher...but she is fair this is her 2nd year teaching and she actually already won teacher of the year( in the whole county out of 15 schools)...which is really hard to get but the students vote...alot of kids thinks she is one of them because she is so tiny she is only 4 10 actually and I am 6ft 1..so I guess we are the odd couple...anyhow sorry for the ramble but I do hope everyone has a good sat!! wwhat is anyone having for breakfast? I think I am going to have a bagle with honey nut cream cheese! hmm!

what up...just watching Bad NEws Bears...but the new version with Billy-Bob Thornton.....i love all the bears movies....and especially the tv series...that is how i got to know dem bears....after that a christmas movie is in the wwaiting

It is chilly here today....I actually have the heat on !! It makes me want Christmas even more. It was two weeks ago that we lost Ivy. I don't know why this one seems harder than the rest......

cm3 it will take a bit of time. i remember when sandy died and my mate died 4 months befour that i felt far worst about sandy.. maybe it is a shock thing. the getting her home and thinking she has a bit of time.. hard to no how the minds

Hey everyone! How are you all? I'm well, just tired and glad it's the weekend. So glad to be able to check back in and not be so "busy."

Weds. night I worked 12 hours and last night, I worked 15 hours. It just has been so crazy busy and it's not going to get any better until probably September or so. There just does come a point when you're pretty much burnt out. Hopefully that doesn't happen to me. We'll see.

Anything new with anyone? I'm anxious to get caught up on the posts. I don't go back to work until Sunday night at 11p, so I will be spending lots of time with you guys.

Well, I am going to start reading the countdown. Hope you're all well and having a great start to your weekend. I know I am! God Bless and keep smiling!

I have been thinking about Christmas more than ever in the last few days. I was telling my daughter how Christmas Eve will not be the same since my uncle passed away.

It has been a tradition for the past 30 years to go to my uncle's house on Christmas Eve. I had mentioned on here before how his 2 bedroom, 1 bath house is so small and somehow we would cram over 20 people in there every year! It was a tradition that I wouldn't have traded for the world. It was kind of comical how we had to practically "step over" people to get from one room to another, it was great!!! His house will be sold so that part of Christmas is gone for good. It's sad but we will move on and will find new traditions to start. I told my daughter that I will bring in a bunch of extra furniture in my house this year to make the house crowded and it will feel like Christmas Eve at my uncle's house! :wink:

Sometimes tragedy make some dread Christmas but somehow it's my therapy and I need it more during times like this! I don't know if it will always work but I have been through a few things in life that Christmas was a huge part of healing.

Good Morning MMC!!!!!!! It's going to be a warm day here with a high of 78 degrees. My niece had to come home with me yesterday so I think we are going to run to a few yard sales like Meceka. Then we have to head out to my older niece's bridging ceremony. She goes from being a Daisy to a Brownie today. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

im here watching the waltons after doing some housework....can....will start cooking in a 20minutes after taking a shower....will have some chicken cordon-bleu, with fries as a sidedish...so it is not really cooking....lol

@CAH- I love your post about your uncle and your families traditions on Christmas Eve...even though he had a small house with it crammed with people filled with holiday cheer it made it that much more special...Talking about how death affects Christmas spirit and all,I remember Christmas of 2003..when my dad's mom died the previous summer,We always met at her house on Christmas Eve to open presents and eat...since I was a baby all the way through 2002 was the alst one and that makes 2002 so special in my memories..in 2003 we tried to gettogether on Chrstimas eve....we were all trying so hard and it had been 7 months since she died,but I remember us all just crying. because it was so hard and I really worry about this upcoming holiday and my dad...I am determined not to let that ruin my Christmas because my dad would be so mad about that.lol 2012 has to be better than the 2011...because it sucked quite frankly.2010 was just amamzing it was my first year here BTW.....
well I have already ate..2 cinimmon raisin bagals with honey nut creem cheese...now I need to go run the block 6 times! Have a great morning all...BTW summer weather is here unless there is a hurricane coming my unofficial weather reports will resume in the fall...summer in the south is HOT...wash rinsse repeat!!! good day all!

I love the post, CAH and I'm thinking of you.

Well, part of the craziness is over, but there a few banquets and graduation this week, but no traveling. I have put in twenty hours on the road in the past two days and I'm exhausted. I have been leaving around 5:30 or 6:00, going to a game or two, then traveling around 5 hours home. LONG LONG DAYS. I enjoy the drive by myself....give me some time to unwind and relax a little, but when you hit about 7 hours of driving, you start getting pretty tired.

For the next few hours, I'm going to just sit around and read Christmas while I check out this betaChristmas website. Pretty neat!

Darlington tonight, Made.....should be a good one!
