I got home from work and there was a box of Whitman's Chocolate on my nightstand from my little doggy, Chico! Thanks to Wayne for taking Chico shopping to buy his mommy something. cheesy

I went to church then work today but had a very nice Mother's Day. My kids and grandkids showed up at work to surprise me. It was great to see them! I got to take the grandchildren around to look at the chicks, ducks, bunnies and more critters we have. They had fun and so did I!

Poor wee thing the vet could be right. wood that be any chance milo wood take a probiotic drink as this can help with gas and bacteria. iis he using the toilet ok ?

Hubby & Harlowe surprised me w/ flowers & a sweet BIG Mother's Day balloon- hubby actually clipped it to Harlowe's collar, and she ran it into our bedroom where I was! Awesome!! It plays "How Sweet It Is To Be Loved By You". Made my day.

That is so cute! I wish you had a video of that.

I just told Wayne how cute it would be for Chico to do that. Then I had this image of him being terrified and he would try to run and hide under the bed to get away from a balloon chasing him! lol

never heard of having biscuits and gravey for breakfast, sounds like something my kids would make with left overs. LOL
But really nice of you to make your mom one of her favorite dishes. Love hearing how people eat at different parts of the world.

I don't know about anywhere else but in the deep south that is like a BIG thing!! you split the buscuit in half pour gobs and gobs of gravy on both parts and then use a fork and knife,the more gravy the better!!:dance:

Oh yeah and add ground sausage to the gravy. I bet Bradmac makes it at the store on Saturdays. Very popular breakfast here!

I guess I took it for granted that it's worldwide but of course it's not, just a common dish here. I am like you and love hearing what others eat in other parts of the world. =)

I usually get a cheaper brand of sasuage so it has lots of fat in it. Then you crumble it up and brown it off. Take the sasuage out of the pan but leave the fat. Add flower to the fat to make a roux. Then add milk to it to make a milk gravy. I also add alot of fresh ground black pepper. Bring it to a boil and add the sasuage back into it. Serve over biscuits, toast, or just eat it with a spoon.

Well wood that be because he is not eating that much? or is she. guess am thinking a swelling or blockage.... is there any swelling round the back where he goes to the tolet ? diid the vet check for prostate?
if it is a gas thing or a bug in the stomach. the stomach wood feel full and he wood not feel hungrey.

Wood it not be very high in fat i no the flour wood soak it up. suppose it wood be no worst that eating a irish breakfast..

SHELLIEGIRL--biscuits here are: flour, lard (crisco), & buttermilk, makes into bread we call biscuits. i think for you biscuits are what we call cookies. aren't they sweet? yes you got it, lots of fat & not good for you but the best tasting things usually aren't. lol.

had a nice day yesterday w/ my family. my son wasn't here. him & his fiance had to go to Charlotte. she had a test up there for her dental assisting school. they just went up & stayed overnight so she wouldn't have to go so early this morning.
my sister brought a cake she got @ cosco. it was about the size of a 1/2 sheet cake, chocolate, w/ 2 pounds of chocolate mousse inside. DELICIOUS!!! it was nice to see everyone. i was so tired last night though. i did make it through Survivor ...barely but i did. that's about the only gaming show i watch. not much up on the rest.

i'm off today & i plan on doing NOTHING!!!!! nap, eat, watch some tv, nap, eat, repeat. every part of my body is sore from all the hours last week @ work & then getting the house back up to parr for company yesterday.


i will be checking in here too so i'll talk to ya'll then. love, hugs, & smiles, ya' know, the kind you have when you're totally relaxed? imagine ocean front & not a care in the world.....yeah, that kind'a smile!!!!!!!
