had a nice day yesterday w/ my family. my son wasn't here. him & his fiance had to go to Charlotte. she had a test up there for her dental assisting school. they just went up & stayed overnight so she wouldn't have to go so early this morning.
my sister brought a cake she got @ cosco. it was about the size of a 1/2 sheet cake, chocolate, w/ 2 pounds of chocolate mousse inside. DELICIOUS!!! it was nice to see everyone. i was so tired last night though. i did make it through Survivor ...barely but i did. that's about the only gaming show i watch. not much up on the rest.

i'm off today & i plan on doing NOTHING!!!!! nap, eat, watch some tv, nap, eat, repeat. every part of my body is sore from all the hours last week @ work & then getting the house back up to parr for company yesterday.

Nice you had a nice day yesterday and sounds like your gonna have another nice one today..you take it easy today and relaxxxxxxx.
Not sure if i wood like your biscuits. lol but i bet they do taste good. anything thats bad for you usually does lol

As Merrymistletoe mentioned about the biscuits. Not like the tea biscuits but big fluffy ones! This is what ours look like and are great with gravy. cheesy

I don't know about anywhere else but in the deep south that is like a BIG thing!! you split the buscuit in half pour gobs and gobs of gravy on both parts and then use a fork and knife,the more gravy the better!!

Oh yeah and add ground sausage to the gravy. I bet Bradmac makes it at the store on Saturdays. Very popular breakfast here!

Wow Christmasstar!!! You've never had biscuits and gravy for breakfast? I feel bad for you. Like Gabulldawg and Christmas-A-Holic said, it's pretty common here in the states. It's easy to make. I usually get a cheaper brand of sasuage so it has lots of fat in it. Then you crumble it up and brown it off. Take the sasuage out of the pan but leave the fat. Add flower to the fat to make a roux. Then add milk to it to make a milk gravy. I also add alot of fresh ground black pepper. Bring it to a boil and add the sasuage back into it. Serve over biscuits, toast, or just eat it with a spoon.

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

I hope everyone enjoyed their Mother's Day weekend! We took Nancy and my mom out to eat after church, and then let them do some shopping. Later that evening we went to Nancy's parents', and Bernie was grilling steaks. Whew! I'm still stuffed!

They look like scones you get over there . you can put butter on them or they are really ncie with jam and fresh cream
And they kinda look like dumplings that we wood have with a beef or chicken stew

Good Morning MMC- not a too bad day at work...I think I am back to supervising 5 folks instead of 25 and 8 hour shifts instead of 12 -and that is a very good thing. THings are actually getting back to normal.! IT's a partyl cloudy day I started out at 66F highs are going to reach 85F.30% chance of rain...it did not rain hardly any at my home over the weekend but I think in surrounding areas really got hit...North Georgia get so much more rain than we have gotten in the last 3 years.but from what I hear in the 3 years before that it was south Georgia that was flooding and north Ga was in a drought..Even lake Lanier close to where I grew up and spent many a summer actually dried up! I remember that lake was huge you could not even see the other side and it was 30 ft deep in places.Iit's back to normal now I hear though..anyhow enough of my dribble....have a great Monday everyone!

hey girl, yeah i was pulling for chelsea or kim. couldn't believe leif & troyzan voted for sabrina. didn't feel like she outwitted, outplayed, & outlasted anyone, just breezed by. gotta admit, kim lead the whole thing though. was shocked however that chelsea didn't receive any votes.



oh...that's the sweetest thing. what a sweet hubby you have to think of this. i just love the picture of harlowe w/ the balloon. she's so tiny next to it though it looks like it may carry her off. lol.
