Good Morning MMC!!!!! It is going to be cooler here today in central Indy with a high near 76 degree's. The cool down isn't going to last long though. We will be close to 90 on Wednesday. This morning I need to run to home depot. Something got into my garden and broke all of my tomato and green pepper plants. So I'm off to buy more so I can get them replanted before it warms up again on Wednesday. Then I bet you can't guess what I have to do this afternoon. That's right!!!!! I have to babysit. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!

Good Monday morning, my Christmas friends!

We're in Orlando this week, doing Universal Studios and Islands of Adventure. I'm trying to get the family out of bed so we can get started. The nearest Starbucks is a block away...too far!!

The tram taking us to the park leaves at 8:50, so I better get started.

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Have Fun!!!!!!!!!

Holy cow! I almost can't believe my eyes....no posts in two hours! Wow!

Thunderstorm here....about to hurry and get to bed.....nothing like a thunderstorm to sleep in!

Goodnight Coach!!!!!!

It looks like we should get some storms coming through here about 2 hours from now.
we have storms predicted for this afternoon, but nothing on the radar yet.

With summer coming, are any of you going to take a vacation somewhere, and if so, where to?

My family is going to take several small vacations, but we're going to Mytrle Beach in two weeks. How about you?

Camping? Can I go? I've been trying to get some friends together to go but we can't seem to get everyone's schedule's to line up.

Sure! This trip is only an overnight one, but it will still be a good time.

Ok, so call me crazy. But the beginning of June is when I start to really begin thinking of Christmas. We aren't far from Christmas in July, Hobby Lobby will soon put out their decorations, and my wife will begin mentioning Christmas at least every other day. I'm beginning to get excited.
from one crazy to another...hi!

not this summer, with lack of work there really is no room for extras. We are going to camp David on the July 1st weekend to celebrate Canada day. (that is free camping for us so it works great)

I am so excited, too, ballcoach!!
We had a Hobby Lobby in my hometown, and loved to go there, especially in July. When I moved out here to Vegas, I discovered that we didn't have any =(
About a year and a half ago, a Hobby Lobby opened clear across town. I was happy, but knew I'd hardly ever make it because not only is it 40+ miles away, there's also traffic, which makes it an hour or more trip...
Well, I just found out they recently opened one @ 10 minutes away from me!! Woohoo!!!!! Can't wait to go check it out!!!! Christmas In July, here we come :)

Good Morning, Meceka!! :hi:

Good morning! I haven't posted in almost a week and don't have time to read anything on here right now. I have been busy with a project at church, family time and still going to my uncle's house to sort through things.

I hope you all have been well. I miss you all and hopefully can catch up in a day or two. :hi:
I am ready for Christmas!!!!

Have a Merry Day!

Ever have one of those mornings where you just feel like doing a whole lot of nothing? It's a bit chilly and rainy (love these days!!) and my plans are to stay home and listen to some Christmas tunes!!!

THANK YOU for the news, made!!! Those times aren't really great for her show, which is surprising! She's one of my faves!

That is only 2 MONTHS FROM TODAY!!!!! And I agree with ballcoach - June is my serious Christmas mode... it's all good from here on out!

glad you could pop in and say hi! I know how busy things can get sometimes.

Good Morning, Christmas friends!!

How was your weekend?

Ours was nice, but went by way too fast!

We had a nice dinner w/ our friends Saturday night, tried alligator & catfish appetizers, surprisingly delicious. The place we went to has the best hush puppies, had some of those w/ honey butter. And that was only the beginning, came home very full, needless to say!

Yesterday we cleaned & cleaned...so done w/ cleaning! We should be ready for hubby's family to get here next weekend, just need to wash bedding for the guest room and do a few last minute things.

Was anyone able to view the solar eclipse?

It was so amazing!! And a little eerie too. The house got so dark, our back patio was dark, but the neighbors house behind us was all lit up- like it was on fire!! Hubby went out mountain biking to the top of a mountain for the viewing, I decided to stay home. Har & I had a perfect view from our bedroom, it was right to the west of us. Such a cool experience!! All of our neighbors were outside checking it out, with their homemade devices to view it. Surreal.

Well, not much going on this week. Work will be busy as usual.

I have a doctor appointment this morning w/ a new guy. I wanted to start seeing a different dermatologist for skin/mole screenings, and to get a second opinion. The Dr. that removed & biopsied my last ones was very nice, but not as thorough as I had hoped she would be. Found out she is a board certified surgeon who specializes in dermatology, but isn't a board certified dermatologist. That was a surprise. I need to do my homework better, I guess. Anyways, her office didn't bill my insurance properly- lots of miscodes, so I'm still dealing w/ that mess. Plus, she wants to do another surgery on one of them she thinks is growing back...yep, time for someone else to look...

Anyways, hope you all have a great Monday!!

Thanks for the dose of Christmas this morning!!! :D

xo

Re Hobby Lobby---I've never been to one of those. I don't know if there's one in our area, but we have A.C. Moore, Michaels, AND Jo Ann Fabrics close to us. (That's where I get the yarn I crochet with.)

not this summer, with lack of work there really is no room for extras. We are going to Camp David on the July 1st weekend to celebrate Canada day. (that is free camping for us so it works great)

That CAN'T be the Camp David in Maryland! cheesy I lived a few miles away from there when I was little, and when we saw a flock of helicopters flying over, we knew the President was going to Camp David. There was a big international meeting there this weekend.

Looks like Christmas is really in the air on the Countdown this morning, and some of those who have been away temporarily are returning. I'm currently in "patriotic" mode (Memorial Day through the Fourth of July is our time to blast John Philip Sousa through the car windows and watch summery movies), but after July Fourth will be shifting into Christmas in July and prep for Christmas 2012.

I'm already looking forward to the three-day weekend (we have tickets for a game at Fenway on Monday---cross your fingers for good weather!) and hoping for a short Friday. But what usually happens is, the office closes at 1 p.m. or so, but my group is usually stuck getting something done that some client wants first thing Tuesday, and we don't get out until a couple hours later. Oh, well!

Most mornings when the alarm goes off. cheesy Maybe you could write me a note and get me excused from work today so I can go home and do like you today! It's gray and damp here, too.
