Hope you're all enjoying the weekend so far =)

Hubby & I are just doing some last minute things to prepare for my in-laws arrival. Every time I think I'm done, I see something else I missed...

We actually had a major cool down here yesterday. Must be the same weather as you, Seawaters!! We're not so far away from each other, afterall! I had to put on a sweatshirt last night to take Harlowe out for a walk. Loved it!! It won't last long, though. Supposed to be near 100 by Monday or Tuesday.

What are your plans this weekend, friends?

We are looking forward to some shopping, food, outdoor fun, cold drinks and grilling- yep, more food!!!!!

I remember the guinea pigs I had years ago---they would squeal when they heard the refrigerator door, because they knew that lettuce and apples came from there! And they made that cute little warbling sound when I petted them.

I remember a guinea pig too....got out of his cage, found him crawling under my bed covers in the middle of the night! The one person in the house who did not like little crawling things that look to much like rats.
Woke my daughter up and made her come and get him and put him back in his cage!

I hope everyone had a wonderful day today, today was a wonderful day for my baby bear today is her birthday! She had her favorite for dinner, chicken added to her kibble.

I put her as my signature with her birthday hat on.

She is so cute! Hope Baby Bear enjoyed her day!

had to work this morning, home w/ hubby now, daughter has gone to town w/ her mawmaw, 1 son just got home. my oldest is getting ready to go out. he & his girlfriend have broken up, yet again. he & about 14 others are going out tonight. let's just say the type of place their going, he just said he needs to go get about 50-$1 bills. know what i mean? can't say i approve, but he's 22 & single. i just want him to get out & enjoy his self & not sit around thinking about his x. he's a good young man & they already have the designated drivers. my other son & his fiance will probably hang out w/ us tonight. i think he & his dad are best friends too. anyhoo.....


i was hoping not to have any plans this weekend because i'm so tired, but my mama wants us to grill out here on monday for Memorial Day & my niece's b-day. we just got the pool uncovered & going but still have a little more to do to it. guess we better get done if we're grilling out monday. hope ya'll have a great one! bye :hi::hi::hi:

Another part of the garden is planted. Only a few more sections left to do. I still need to go buy some good garden soil - it is mostly sand here. Nice and cool out, but that is supposed to change with a major heat wave coming in the next few days. Should make the garden plants happy cheesy

I love being in the garden and watching things grow! Mine is all in now, I have tomatoes, onion, green peppers, carrots, lettuce, cauliflower, celery, egg plant, watermelon and chives. Not bad for 2 flowers beds and an old stove to grow it in! ( I live in a row house so do not have much room)
In the front I grow flowers. (got to make the neighbourhood look nice!)
my son was out mowing and trimming the lawns this morning so it all looks great.
