Was it cooler today? The Jersey shore got POUNDED today (4+ inches!) and apparently it's raining right now on my husband's way home from work... where's our rain?! I don't wanna water my sad garden in the AM, lol!

A little. It only got up to 86 today instead of the mid 90's. 20 miles north of us has got over 5 inches of rain in the last couple of weeks. It just won't dip south and hit us.

Maybe you can swing by and PLUG IN the chest freezer that been in my basement for, oh, just 2 years?My husband has been telling me he's going to rearrange and move it and PLUG IT IN but.... so far, nothing! I gotta remind him again!
I love(d) having a deep freezer! I like to have a crazy amount of food on hand at any given moment... zombie apocalypse or unexpected guests - ya never know, right? :razz:
Sure!!! I would actually like to have a big freezer so I could store more veggies and bake goods.
I try to keep a 3 to 4 month supply of food on hand at all times. Just in case. My sister use to make fun of me but when her husband had to have back surgery and was off of work for 5 months with no short term disability she learned a hard lesson.
Of course with all of these people getting high on bath salts and turning into cannibal's can the Zombie's be far behind?

Friends, there is no place like home. It's been almost a week, but I'm finally back with my wife and dogs!

oh a baby shower. i love them, have fun!It kinda rained for about 34 seconds here... but it's still hot and humid. Thankfully this awful humidity and heat is gone tomorrow, just in time for my sister's baby shower!!

I am going to relax a bit, watch some TV, and eat some Blue Bunny Duff's Red Velvet Cake ice cream!!! My son, who lives in Maryland, told me about the ice cream. I went to Wal Mart and they have the Duff Goldman (Ace of Cakes) label of "cake" ice cream: I Do, I Do Wedding Cake; 24 Carrot Cake; Strawberries are Forever and a few others. YUMMO!!!
Every time I go to a store now I hope I can find some Christmas stuff, I have started looking in magazine sections for the early bird Christmas mags now.

Just sitting here watching the NHL Draft, it's boring but it's hockey. Very fast moving day at work, I didn't get everything done I needed to. LC had to watch Rudolph tonight, I wonder why my wife always calls him my clone. cheesy Tomorrow my town has their July 4 fireworks tomorrow, less than 1/4 mile down the street from us, we can see them from our yard, but better from across the street. Thunderstorms came through and cooled everything off and took the humidity with them. Ahhhhhhhhhhh! Work tomorrow day off Sunday.

I am watching HP and the Deathly Hallows part I. Nothing like Harry to help me unwind. I am contemplating taking more tests for other companies but I am scared.........I am fed up with my present company but it IS a position I can count on. I keep going back and forth about leaving again /not leaving.......I just know that something is going to have to give somewhere.....
It is a lot cooler here this evening. It was nice to go outside with Hermione tonight and not be in lung crushing heat.......It is supposed to go down into the high 50s for a few nights.
I can't believe (Lord's willing) it will soon be Wishbone's birthday. I never thought he would be here another year. If he makes it, he will be 16 in August !! He hasn't had any more "episodes" since last September after I started him on the second heart medication.
Hermione is going to be "fixed" this coming Wednesday. I know it is just a "routine" procedure but I still worry. She is 7 months old now. I can't believe it. I was just thinking.......I have Hermione and Lily both named after characters of the Harry Potter series.....I think I perhaps need someone to call Harry himself !! or maybe even Sirius !!

Undrtaker, my (almost 3 year old) granddaughter sings Christmas songs all year. Her favorite is, Mele Kalikimaka. That's a mouthful for a kid her age. I laugh when she sings it! She talks about Santa all the time too!
