Good evening, Christmas family

Another Sunday night and another week of trying to get to the weekend coming up. I am really sad to say my little Wishbone is in the hospital. I should not have bragged he would be 16 in August I guess..... He has congestive heart failure and I don't know if he will make it.....I miss him so much, I can't even put it in words.

Good late afternoon, Christmas friends. The temps have been great today, so I plan to heat up the oven to make some peanut butter cookies after dinner. I am trying a new recipe that uses sweetened condensed milk and Bisquick. Today is Tiffany's birthday, and she is coming to visit tomorrow; so I thought I would have a tasty treat for her. TTYL

happy b-day to Tiffany!! i'm sure she'll love the cookies. you're the best!

Today it's 6 months to Christmas Eve!

oh i've always wanted to check them out. the stuff looks so cool!

Wayne and I went to Hobby Lobby, Michaels and Garden Ridge yesterday.

Hobby Lobby added more Christmas goodies and had 2 rows of Fall decor. The aisle smelled so good with their fall candles!

Garden Ridge had quite a bit of Christmas items, Fall decor and several rows of Halloween items.

Michaels had a half row of Fall decor out but it's a start!

So sad ... we fly home tomorrow night, so tomorrow is our last afternoon with Gloria until next year, God willing. We'll miss her terribly. It makes a long trip back seem so much longer. We're so lucky to know her, and she misses us 'cause we take her out for lunch and shopping every day. But it'll be nice to be home, too. Getting back to work--- not so much!

good morning y'all! well it's a lovely monday morning here. when hubby & i had coffee on the front porch this morning it was actually nice w/ out all the humidity.
this weekend has been shocking & disappointing. my son & his fiance, who have been together for 4 years, broke up. we love her very much but it just goes to show ya', things happen we have no control over. luckily my oldest son & my daughter are right w/ him, making sure he's ok & being there if he needs to talk. my hubby & i are also but sometimes ya' want to talk to someone more your age. this will be a whole new chapter in our lives w/out her....

i'm off today but still got up w/ hubby so i can take a trip to walmart early before the crowds hit. funny how even in this small town, no holidays coming up, that place gets slammed by 9a.m.i truly dislike going in there @ all but since i'm out of everything it's required.

i hope this morning is a good one for each of you. hope to hear from cm3 that wishbone is well.

We should get a break from the heat and humidity tomorrow and Wednesday before it returns with a vengence toward the end of the week, where one forecast has our Friday high at 102.

Currently, we show 74 degrees here in the capital city.

Wow halfway there!!! Glad I dropped in today to see that! It's raining here from tropical storm Debby...or is it Danny I forget which is not like me when it comes to weather but all I know is it's raining!!! we are expected to get 2 to 4 inches of the wet stuff from this storm which is what we need sooo bad. I will take a wet mild raining day in the middle of summer over 98 degress humid weather any day but that is just me,after a few days of rain I will be ready for the sun to return..I am so glad summer is off and going it means the fall and winter are not far behind!! this is Brandi's last week off teaching the kids at summer school and it can't come soon enough. She needs some time off that is for sure. She enjoys going and going and going much more than I butthen again I thnk I was like that too when I was 23.I'ts been so long since I was 23!!!! I forget....Anyways things are going okay down here alot has been going on with me lately I won't bore yall but I think things are only going to be getting better from here on out! Hope you all are doing good I have the day off and I can't get outside I am going to catch up from the last month I miseed here on this thread...have a great day everyone!
