Good FRIDAY! (whoo hoo) morning everyone!

Yesterday we went to the library. I got excited when my Wife pointed out the "Holiday" cd section. Lots of Christmas music, OVERLOAD! I might borrow some to listen too! Going to be another hot day. I really do not like this hot weather. Anyone want it? Anyone? lol. Well just popping in to say hi! Have a great friday!

I woke up to this quote this morning and wanted to share:

"Don't waste your life waiting until everything is perfect before you start enjoying it".

With Christmas in our hearts everything is perfect! Right? :D

For those who wanted to see my dad in a quartet, here it is.

Bear in mind that they are out of practice and not professional singers ... just avid barbershoppers! My dad's on the far right, my uncle's on the far left.

I thought they sounded great!!!!!!

"Don't waste your life waiting until everything is perfect before you start enjoying it".

This quote came in perfect time because I found myself doing just that. Some stuff came up in the past couple of week and I thought, "If we get this, this and that done, things will be perfect". Okay, we will move on, it will get done and we will be okay! :D

I saw a Pawn Stars episode where Corey dismissed the Beatles by saying, "They were just the first boy band." :o

Kids.

Ha ha! Sounds like a Chumley comment but Corey? He don't know much, does he? They would have been considered a "boy band" if they stuck with the sappy sugary love stuff but they expanded to other things. I love all their music though, early to later.

That is funny, thanks for sharing that!

Friday hello! This morning will be another "fire drill," with a new ad being created in less than 24 hours ... but until then, I'm checking in with my favorite people.

Thanks to everyone who commented on the Glade-Tones. I edited the video out of a 15-minute set they did at a farm park. If anyone wants to see more, I can pull out another song or two and produce an encore video. They apologized at the show because they had not sung together in a year, and did the show on a short rehearsal.

Gotta run, the "fire drill" is here!

Good Morning MMC!!!!!! Well our 70% chance of rain is down to 10%. At least today is going to be a little bit cooler with a high of 84. I'll be babysitting most of the day so I won't be around much. Hopefully I can get them to take a nap and check in then. I hope everyone is having a GREAT DAY!!!!!!!!!!!!!

For the people who are going to the Hallmark open house, have you guys decided on which ornaments you want? There are just so many beautiful ones to choose from... =]

I just buy the Star Trek ones for DH. MIL buys the "granddaughter" one for DD. My mom buys an ornament for DD too. Her tree is almost as full as mine & she just turned seven! I get two ornaments each year for being in the club, but I don't buy more. I have more than I need now!

GOOD MORNING Y'ALL! COMPUTER @ HOME WON'T CONNECT SO I WAITED UNTIL I GOT TO WORK TO POST. HOPE EVERYONE IS OK & WELL. I'LL BE BACK LATER IF ABLE.

LOVE, HUGS, & SMILES TO Y'ALL!!!!

:notice:

As most people know, The Beatles are WAY at the top of my list and have been for 30 years. No one compares to them, in my opinion. If I am not listening to them, I love just about anything.

Why on earth would we look down at you for this!?!?!?! NOOOOO! I feel if anyone wants to see it, go for it and have a blast!!! There is nothing wrong with it! I was just thinking I was weird for not wanting to see it but then saw others on here who have no interest in it either. I am certainly not a prude about it, just not my thing is all.

Seriously though, if there is an interesting story I just might see it when it comes on cable. I thought it was just a bunch of guys dancing around and no story. I already been to those "guy dancing" clubs in my 20's for a few bachelorette parties and they got old quick. lol

Talking about being a silly school girl, you should have seen me at a Paul McCartney concert back in 2009. I did a whole lot of screaming and it was fun! I can't wait to see him again!

The Beatles they really defined some much!!!

Thanks CAH LOL you are too cool

Good evening friends!
Hope everyone is doing fine!?

Last week we was told that my father-in-law had a brain tumor.
He just turned 65 years old, he is healthy and in good shape
Never been sick a day in his life.
Yesterday we knew it was brain cancer and today he had brain surgery.
Sadly they could not get it all out, so he will be needing Radiation.

Im worried sick about him, my mother-in-law and my husband.
Im praying it will all be fine again!

Oh my.. You never know what tomorrow brings...

I will be praying for you and your family. So much can be done I will keep you all in my thoughts.

I brought a woollen jacket to wear today over my summer blouse and my denim shirt, and I'm keeping close to my mini space heater. I still feel chilly---an awful draft comes out of the ceiling when the A/C is running.

Must think positive! (To which Mr. would answer, "It's POSITIVELY too cold in here!")

And he would be complete right... Burrrrr I am thinking longingly of my scarf...

Lauriebear - I too want to see Magic Mike - For Sure!!! I love anything Matthew McConaughey is in! I usually see all of his movies! My sil went out to eat with a group of friends & then to see this movie Monday night. She never goes out with her girlfriends, so this must be something special. LOL! I haven't talked to her about it but I'll definately ask the next time I see her. If I don't see it in the theater, I'll definately rent it.

jennifer91 - that is exactly how I feel when I see back to school stuff - my stomach turns! YUCK!

MerryCarey/Lauriebear - I am at work now in the office with a jacket on. It's always freezin in here! It's beautiful outside....soon I will be out there!

shellie12/jennifer91 - I have lots of friends reading Shades of Grey right now too. Some are reading them for the 2nd or 3rd time. I have another friend who can't get through the 1st book. She says it is p*rn & she can't stand all the pain? I am not in reading mode right now but maybe some day if I get back into reading I'll see what it's all about!

Holiday you are too cute... I know right school stuff, just makes me feel like the days of summer go bye too fast.

You know I have not yet read that book, I just have not had a lo of time to do it yet I hear it is all the rage.

Glad you liked it & had fun!! My speed is more like watching The Holiday & staring at Jude Law

Yes, Mr. Law is quite the handsome man with a lovely accent to match!!!

Guess who is getting a fur-girl soon??
Yup, ME!!! She's a rescue from the Humane Society of Tampa Bay so right now, my parents have her. She's 1 yr and 9 months old, Cairn Terrier (imagine: a white-haired version of 'Toto'), and her name is Missy.

I am so happy for you... How sweet!!!!!

No, you didn't miss my birthday! It was my son's. He was 1 on Sunday, which I am 99.9% sure you wished him a Happy Birthday. Thanks for always being on top of things, friend!

Ops, but I did... Wow your little guy is 1 already!!! Happy Belated Birthday Wishes for him, sorry I missed that!

the Sahara Quartet is a tad upset with you...Clide, Clive, Claud and Carry have been touring for just over a year now. Carry knows she is odd being a while camel and all, but did not think she was invisible!

But do not fear, I talked to them and they understand you are a bit stressed with work and all and so send you this gift to help you feel better....

OMG!!! Love there names!!!!

After today, just one more work day until the weekend! And just a few short days until the Hallmark Christmas In July weekend!! Yippee! My friend & I are going to hit Hallmark early on Saturday morning, then go back to Hobby Lobby, and then go have lunch somewhere nice. Really looking forward to a Christmassy weekend!! Especially w/ all of the awesome movies on! For the people who are going to the Hallmark open house, have you guys decided on which ornaments you want? There are just so many beautiful ones to choose from...

Snowflake I have the DVR all set!!!! What a great day, hope you have a lot of fun. I have not yet been to the Hallmark Open House, this is an odd weekend for once no running around, I think I may pop into the one by my house and check it out!!! Then come home and start the Christmas Movie Fest!!! I have my little Santa all ready!!!

So last night, via webcam, I was able to "meet" Missy for the first time. OMG!! She's ADORABLE!!! Sooo sweet and friendly!!! She just wants to be loved and to give love. She even jumped onto my DAD'S lap!! And yes, he pet her too!!!

That is so cool, how is the training going? I bet you cannot wait until she is with you.

For those who wanted to see my dad in a quartet, here it is.

I like this quote... Right all too often I know I do that, if I just had this done, or that completed it would be perfect... Well, you know what it is perfect and now this and that isn't done but I will still enjoy.... Thank you CAH!

You said it!!! I am with you!

Thanks Made, hope you do too, and I hope you get that nap time!!!

Your DH is obviously a very intelligent man, as well as a discerning viewer of well-written and superbly acted television programs.

Good Friday the 13th, my Christmas friends!
jason-friday-12th-1.jpg

Chee, chee, chee, haa, haa, haa!

I have a lot of stuff to do this weekend, including working all day at Bernie's tomorrow. Most of my weekend, though, was planned by others for me. One day I'd like to be in control of what I do...just for one day! LOL

I hope y'all have a great day! cheesy

Wayne and I went to the lake this morning for a walk then went ahead and did our grocery shopping so we can be free to take in some Christmas stuff tomorrow, like Hallmark!!!

I usually feel revved up after a walk but today I feel a little out of it. I guess running around non stop for the past 2 weeks have caught up to me. I don't go to work today or babysit so I might take it easy and get a nap in. I have to rest up for the big Hallmark event this weekend!!!
:???:

Happy Friday the 13th, everyone! I guess I'm really different than most people, because I always look forward to Friday the 13th. Something good always happens to me on Friday the 13th, and this one was no exception; one of our patients brought us pizza! Yum!!
