For those wanting a quick summary of what red eye gravy is, Wikipedia has a nice little write up on it. In North Carolina most of ours is made with country ham or bacon drippings.

That's it! Red eye gravy is good on grits & rice, or sopped up with a biscuit or just some light bread.

Have not posted in quite some time, but I'm glad to see that everyone is doing well. I have been very busy with college,kids,and life in general! I have gotten the Christmas bug just recently which is pretty typical for me around this year!:dance:

Good Friday morning, my Christmas friends!

It's been a long week here at work, with several malfunctions and a couple of plain old expensive mistakes. Thankfully, the end of the workweek is here. Maybe we can re-group over the weekend.

Tonight is the last night that my family is staying at the campground, then things will get back to normal. This Sunday is the final day of Campmeeting, and all of the local churches close to come to morning service at the campground. Big crowd!

I am not feeling 100% today. I better not be coming down with something! I feel sooo tired so I am going to get some rest. I will need it for QVC this weekend!!!

Coming to you live from my kitchen... preparing a big feast for tomorrow! I am making mac and cheese at the moment and next on the list are some spiced sugar cookies for the boys to decorate later. Gotta make some homemade rolls today, too! Yippie!!

We started this month with a fireworks ban due to drought and 100 degreee plus weather...now we have had 8 or 9 inches of rain since the Fourth. Amazing electrical show all last night. And just sticky normal heat instead of dry extreme heat. So ready for fall! Will have to take a walk through the stores to help put me in the fall frame of mind this weekend. Have a good weekend everyone!

Ugh.....Me to CAH....I am so tired I could just go back to sleep for a while......But have to be on working here shortly. My back was hurting last evening so I took something for it and instead of relaxing me it wired me for sound.........Back pain went away but I could not sleep until this morning at around 7.........I hope you feel better though !!!!!! xo
